A UPS store that needs a facelift. Dirty ragged carpeting, wiring exposed, no merchandising of office products, dirty windows, broken and chaotic elements. Poor overall appearance. The team there does their job adequately, but never with any urgency or a friendly word. Of course if I had to work in a depressing environment, I might not be cheerful either. read more

This review is based on the post boxes. -- The good point is I can access the post boxes at all hours. -- The bad point is they are incredibly sloppy about delivering mail to the correct box. I receive a lot of mail that belongs in other boxes and I'm pretty sure some of my mail never arrives in my box. Recently I emptied my box and there were 3 letters for other people and 6 for me. You have to be in the store during open hours to turn back mis-delivered mail, so they can presumably deliver it to the correct person. This happens often, they should have a special drop box for mis-delivered mail during closed hours. Or maybe simply deliver mail to the correct people. But that seems beyond them. A month or two ago one letter was mis-delivered to my box a SECOND time after I had turned it back. Edit: removed a complaint. I have seen the problem and it wasn't the UPS Store's fault. I came to this UPS store to print some pdf files off of a flash drive. Easy stuff. I printed files at this store two times last week. This store has a big problem. Except the printers in this store are broken and dont accept flashdrives. And the computer that I printed from last week is broken too. The staff, who are very inexperienced...sit around helplessly. I'm a regular at this location so I was very disappointed to learn they're no longer shipping USPS packages. When I asked a staff member why not, she just shrugged and said she didn't know why. When I asked her if they accepted prepaid Federal Express packages she said she didn't know what those were. So, on a positive note, I'll save money and get some exercise walking the ten minutes to the local post office. read more

My review is for their copying/binding services only. Summary: overpriced, crap service and crap products. Overall Rating: Crap. My experience: I went a few weeks ago as I had a last minute printing project that was very important. I decided to go with UPS rather than Kinkos due to proximity to my place (and I called and they said they could turn it around quickly). I went through their portal to upload the print job and the online proof showed me that every other page was cut off due to the binding so I went back and redid my document so it would appropriately work with the every-other-page issue. I arrived at the store and let them know I was here to pick up my job. It wasn't ready yet. The person handling -- named David -- was a bit of a butt about it. Not friendly whatsoever. But, it was 4 pm, maybe just tired. Whatever. Quick side note: this was not cheap at all! $60 for three 12 page packets with binding! I get the first attempt and he did not do the binding correctly. Every other page was upside down. I let him know and he says, fine I'll redo it. Grabs the papers dramatically and redoes the binding. He came back and it still wasn't right. The pages weren't as they were on the proof but rather one-sided... so the every other page edit that I had purposely recreated were odd and unusually placed. I try to explain this to him and he was clearly annoyed. I apologize profusely (not my place to do so, IMO) but it wasn't what the proof showed and every other page is off. He snapped at me "this is how the proof came" and I let him know nicely it wasn't and he kept saying "what's wrong with it" as if I didn't know my own project or proof. I should get a gold star for my patience. Listen, I HATE being a complainer but this was important and also freakin' pricey, and I needed it to be done right, so I stuck to my guns. We go back and forth and finally I ask him if I can resubmit the original file to be one-sided as he had put them together. He snorts "fine but can't promise they'll get done tonight." I RUN home and reupload my original files, even though the proof is wonky now. I run back over to UPS (note: they still have an hour before they close so I think he was just being difficult to be difficult) and I smile warmly as I see he has it printed out and is looking at them. I say, "third time is a charm?" and he looks... no, more like glares at me and informs me the printer is smudging horribly and he doesn't know how to correct it (nor does he care, clearly). He shows me a page and something was seriously wrong with their printer now. OMG. So he ends up giving me the disposed of copies so I can piece together what I can (by hand, in their small office, standing there awkwardly over a printer) and he binds them for me. It still wasn't right but at this point, I throw in the towel. THREE TIMES and it was still incorrect. $60 out of my pocket for half *** packets and super rude customer service. Oh, and he snatched the left over smudged copies from me as if I were trying to pull a fast one from him and threw them out dramatically in front of me. NEVER AGAIN. I will never give them any business. My small disclaimer: I have worked with other employees there for shipping who were kind and friendly, albeit an overly expensive shipping store. But trust me, take your printing business elsewhere! read more

This location over charges for the notary services. State law set notary rate at a $1/page and they charge $5/page stating $1.00 notary and $4 clerical fee. When I sent in a complaint to the attorney general's office, I was given a refund for the overcharge. I thought the situation was fixed, but going in for another notary they attempted to charge that again. I know that UPS corporate sent a notice regarding the overcharging, so again I thought it was fixed. I wen in today only to be told the same higher charge and an additional $1 for the witness signature even though I had my own and that had nothing to do with their services. I left the store. As a fellow business person in this neighborhood, it is disheartening to know that kind of overcharging is going. read more
