In my entire life I've never been so disgusted by the way I was treated by a business that I felt the need to write a review... until now. It would be cheaper, and it would feel less violating to be mugged than to use this store. I would rather sit through an entire "Nickleback: Greatest Hits" concert than to ever patronize these people again. Seriously, take the bus to the Post Office, wait in line, and give them your business instead. I will go miles out of my way every day to avoid this store. They charge a ridiculous amount of money to ship ordinary packages. Like three to four times what it would cost anywhere else. I'm not joking. Once I sent a notebook to Mexico from this location. Big mistake. That $3 notebook cost me close to $40 to ship at their "lowest rate". Their prices border on the absurd. Most of the people who work there are completely incompetent. You would think it nearly impossible to repeatedly mess up weighing a package and placing a sticker on it, but you'd be surprised. The bros who work the evening shifts are especially to be avoided. If they are even behind the counter when you walk in, you have to try to compete with the rap music they play to get your message across. One of the employees, who has great difficulty with simple instructions, messes up my labels almost every single time. Then, when I make him correct them, he hands them to me and makes me affix them to the packages. He acts like every time he rings you up it's his first time he's ever seen a computer. He's can't answer any of your questions and he looks utterly confused 90% of the time. Another employee thinks he's your best buddy from back at the frat-house. I'm never sure whether I should swipe my credit card or fist-bump him. I always got a sick feeling in my stomach wondering if my valuable packages would actually ever make it out of the store unopened. And the other guy there always comments that I send out a lot of packages and wants to know what's in them- Not from a business or regulatory standpoint, but because he thinks he has a right to know what are in my sealed packages. The only good employee they ever had was this disabled gentleman who was always very nice to customers. You could tell he had great difficulty, but he always did his best despite his limitations. You can probably see where this is going. I'm not completely positive he was fired, but the other employees would always talk about him to customers after he was gone. Highly unprofessional. I'm pretty sure he wasn't let-go for showing up late if you know what I mean. When you would drop off a package it would always take a long time for the tracking information to show up online, making me wonder if they were taking their sweet time. The store itself is usually littered with used furniture and these horrible paintings that they are trying to sell. Their "artwork" looks like something that was rejected by a Motel 6. It's like they were too lazy to walk it out to the dumpster and decided to sell it there instead. They just have this junk lying around like it's a garage sale or something. It's really weird. So let me walk you through the last time I darkened their doorstep: I walk in with several pre-paid USPS-labeled packages to drop off. There are two people behind the counter and neither of them acknowledge me as I walk in. I say "Hello" and tell them that I have some packages to drop off. Still unacknowledged, I begin setting them on the counter. One of the workers, the roided-out 70's pornstar wannabe (who I assume might also be the owner), doesn't even get up out of his chair. Instead, without saying a word, he picks up one of my packages and starts reading the label. The conversation then proceeds as follows: Roided-out guy: "You know we're not the Post Office." [Obviously. Postal employees are trained in proper customer service]. Me: "Yes, but you take USPS drop-offs right?" Roided-out guy: "Yeah, but..." Me: "So you take them?" Roided-out guy: "You can't just be just dropping these off here. The postal guy gets mad." Me thinking: "Yes, but you take USPS drop-offs right? I'd hate to upset your mailman. That would break my little heart." Keep in mind that I've spent hundreds, if not well over a thousand dollars at this store over the past two years. I feel sick that I patronized these clowns for so long because it was the only shipping center in my neighborhood. Silly me. I now relish the hour bus ride to visit the closest Post Office, knowing I'll be treated like a human being when I walk in, and that I won't have to take out a second mortgage to mail some boxes. When the owner replies to this post, don't believe a word he says. These guys are complete slimeballs. But you don't have to take my word for it- if you want more proof just read the other reviews. Don't make the same mistake I did. If I were you I wouldn't give these people another cent. read more

***currently in contact with UPS corporate who are sad to hear my experience** As a young AA female who always walks my ESA everywhere I go through Edgewater my many years of living here, a worker decided to call the police on me after showing my ESA paperwork and stating he does not act like a service dog. She also lied to the police and stated I was trespassing. Police came to mediate the situation and calm her down and asked if my dog was left outside, could I get my package. She rudely responded no to the officer. The only way for me to get my package was to sign this letter she typed up vowing me to never return.(see photos) The racist comments are correct. Do you see how she responds to the bad reviews? As if she is cyber bullying. Remove her from this store immediately, owner or not. I can vow she won't be the owner much longer. Lawsuit is in motion. Steps off the Bryn Mawr El, this little Shipping/Faxing/Copying/Internet/Multi-functional Office retailer is one of the most convenient shops in the Bryn Mawr Historic District. Employees are all delightfully helpful and the store is always immaculate. They sell stamps as well as having many other US MAIL options. If you need to jump online really quick, there's a customer computer and you can even scan to it! One of the more exciting services they offer is the wide-format printing for banners, large posters, blue-prints, and anything else you can think of to print very LARGE! Comparably much better than the Fed-Ex office in price and service. read more

RIP OFF ARTISTS. They claimed a ten pound package to Spain would cost 249 dollars. When I informed them the UPS website gave me a 77 dollar rate they said impossible we ARE UPS okay. So i showed them on my phone and asked to speak to the manager who told me. Well, We can charge different prices cus we are a francise. We are NOT *really* UPS. At which point I said no your not whoch is why you charge over triple the amount. So a pasty skinned , emaciated guy with bleached yellow hair called me a bitch . I have been a customer here for the past several years and have received nothing but the best service. And service with a smite at that. KEVIN & BRIAN are the best. Even when its jam packed and you may have to wait awhile but you are always thanked for your patience as well as being acknowledged when you arrive. I like that. In this age of so much tech stuff its nice to be seen and acknowledged. Also, its a great place to have your packages sent, No worry about theft of delay. I have shipped at many different UPS locations. Some of them have very liberal pricing, as in they just make it up as they go. Case in point, I have spent less than $50 in the recent past to ship a 50 pound box that is two feet square. These folks, however, charged $185, for no other reason than because they think that they can get away with it. I would recommend going to another place that provides the same service for the actual rate that it goes for. These people are grifters. read more

Came here yesterday to laminate my covid vaccine card. The employee was in such a rush that he cut some of the card off during lamination, left one edge unlaminated, and did not tell me laminating would blacken the labels on the card. He offered no apology, would not take responsibility, and blamed the machine. Avoid this place if you need to laminate something important such as your vaccine card or social security card as there is little care provided. Very upset by this. read more

i went in this afternoon to get my resume print out but the guy working there with long hair said he cant make a print out becz he had to take care if other customers behind me......so rude and arrogant.....my only advise to the manager is hire friendly staffff......and train them well so they could be prepared before the service......i meann what do u mean that u cant serve me bcz other peple are waiting behind me in a line...... read more

The staff is great until you get this person Maggie who is a lunatic. I have watched her scream at customers for asking her to help email a doc. to the store. She is so rude to people and her support stuffed animal smells. Go in just to watch this person go off on customers it is worth it. Very friendly service. I was in a hurry and needed to print something. They do not have wi-fi (that is kind of odd) but the guy at the desk (who bemoaned not having wi-fi) let me use his personal usb key to print on their computer. I was in a jam and they were very helpful. read more
