I utilize this particular Staples because of its location and I have a business account through my…read moreschool. I utilize Staples for many things in my school: copier paper, office supplies, and printing services. I like the Staples print capabilities and their one day turn around time for posters (in particular). Each time I go the Norridge Staples to pick up an order, there is either no employees available or there is general confusion about how to access an order that has been printed. My most recent experience was last week and I was so infuriated by the sheer ignorance of the staff that I felt compelled to write a review. There were three employees (that I could see) - two men and one woman. I asked the woman if she could call someone to the print are - she radioed for someone. Meanwhile the two men and this woman engaged in a conversation, swearing and laughing it up. The two men literally ran to the back of the store and began horsing around with each other. I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting and asked the woman to get her manager or supervisor, to which she replied 'I don't have a manager.' I told her that I was sending en email to the customer email on their website to report how terrible to service is in this store and that I'd be replacing Staples in my school with a new vendor. One of the two men finally appeared and admitted to being a manager, got my order and said he doesn't have anyone to work the print area. Then why would Staples take orders if they don't have anyone to manage the print area? And by the way, the order was already printed and paid for - I just need it to be brought across the counter. Terrible customer service! I'm not sure how this store continue to be open. Take your business elsewhere. You'd be better off waiting for Amazon to deliver what you need than stepping foot in this Staples.

I was a little worried about using this location to ship something overnight--the previous reviews…read moredidn't look good. Turns out, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Yvonne was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I needed to ship my work laptop overnight to my company's IT department. I figured FedEx could handle the packing and shipping and it worked out really well. Yvonne took great care in packing the laptop and triple-checking the name/spelling/address for the shipping label. Since it needed to be shipped overnight, I figured the price would be hefty (yay for company reimbursement!). All that really mattered was that my laptop arrived next day as promised. The place looks like the standard FedEx Office Center. Copy machine, packing material, basic stationery needs. It's clean, there is parking in the front and back. Bonus it's across the street from Target so it's easy to make a trip to FedEx part of an errand day.

I enjoyed their sink with nice water. There were lots of machines, and they were modern. The laundromat had me using an app to operate the machines via my phone. Illegal charges…read more Called to ask (rang 30x before answered) if I could print out a label using my UPS account in the store. Was told yes. Arrived at the store and asked which computer I could use to login to my account to print the label. Logged in and printed label. Attached label to package and handed it to the kid behind the counter. He says it's $1.22. Didn't even realize he was talking to me. So person who answered the phone made no mention of a fee. The kid who told me which computer I could use to print out the label made no mention of the fee. No sign next to the computer making any mention of a fee. When I hit the print button on the computer screen, it made no mention of a fee. It is their job to make the customers aware of a fee beforehand allowing us to decide if we still want to use this service. A woman in the store at the same time said she wanted to use the fax machine. She was immediately made aware of the cost, prior to using this service. CHARGING ME AFTER THE FACT IS ILLEGAL. What prevents them from charging me any amount they want. Should've taken my package and left. The amount charged is not the point.

This had to be done in Chicago. We were on a time crunch to get this sorted out. Simon Global got the document for us, added the required certification and had it to us in Malta all within a week. This level of service and dedication to the customer is beyond exceptional. No price tag can be put on the stress reduction we got from this. Thank you so much again for being there for us.
