The quality of service I was given was incomplete. None of my emails went thru to the intended receiptant. I had to make three trips total before I realized the employees didn't either know what they were doing or didn't care. I ended up getting my printing and emails done correctly at the Garner UPS. Despite my coming in at 6:54 (six minutes before closing) Danielle and John were so great. They didn't have to be as accommodating as they were. To be honest, I'll only use the mail service here if the USPS in Clayton is bombed. BUT...this review is going to focus on their mailbox service, which I love. Reasonably priced on a 3-month (or more) plan and 24/7 access is the real winner, here. Plus, if you get something that doesn't fit in the box, they'll store it in the back for you, leave a note in your box, and send you an email to let you know you received something that didn't fit in the box. Friendly, patient, COMPETENT staff! no matter how crowded, they are well staffed and keep their cool. I drive into town to use this location and SKIP the one near my home!! Taylor has been especially helpful of late. it's so refreshing to find someone helpful for the technically challenged, older customer. she was just wonderful. Came in to do an Amazon return on my lunch break. There was a slight wait but it went quickly. One of the employees was kind of rude though because my steel boots had some mud on them. He took my return and my phone to the counter and told me to stay on the entry way mat. I get it.. but his tome was off putting. read more

I had a package sent here due it it being the holidays i didnt want the package to be potentially stolen. I received an email on yesterday that my package was at this location and ready to pick up. I go today give them my name and no one can seem to locate my package. I then show them the email that says the package is ready along with the tracking number. Still no package! So then im told "oh you will have to file a claim because we cant find your package" I noticed they don't bother to check IDs when people come to pickup packages so more than likely my package was given to someone else ...MERRY CHRISTMAS read more

I came in to this particular location to get documents notarized I just replace my driver's license and had a temporary driver's license they refused to notarize my paperwork and said they don't take a state issue temporary license refuse to let me get in contact with owner only took my number down for them not to give me a call I normally use this location for shipping packages off but I will gladly drive to Smithfield I informed the young lady that this document was very important as I had a fire and needed to have it notarized and sent to the insurance company but she refused to take a state issue temporary driver's license as my ID form read more

"The UPS Store" here in Clayton has been a blessing. Not only to me personally, but hey have supported my own non-profit over the years. Lost a package worth $600 and does not acknowledge nor have they initiated any type of settlement

I am aware that I am one person out of hundreds maybe thousands of people that used to store. I have been using it along the way my package got lost it was a baby gift. In the meantime they lost it. I have had to do all the footwork myself as far as calling and following up on all the procedures and protocols of when UPS loses your package and has to do an investigation then they find out it's lost the hard part is trying to get your money back from corporate. I called several times due to my claim and my refund check was sitting on someone's desk for weeks. Now I had to do all the legwork on this this store on Shotwell they might've opened the claim that was it if it wasn't for me constantly calling saying where is my check into this day I still don't have it back!!! The point of the story is in order to run a successful business you need to be more helpful to your customers and follow up with them during this process. I might as well of worked for them because I was acting like the employee asking where my claim was no one else really cares because as I was told so many times "IT A PROCESS" It really wasn't my duty to constantly call and ask where my check was even though it was sitting on a deck somewhere. Other wise nothing was happening !! I was told to pick up my check today and again they couldn't accommodate me ! OH well this won't change the way this are . read more

One of the few places around truly living up to my expectations of southern hospitality. The staff here treats you like a family after seeing you literally couple of times. They go out of their way to get to know you and accommodate you the best. In Russia we have a saying, the spoon is most expensive right before dinner, meaning you can sell anything triple of price to someone who needs it desperately (and often they do so). Here they don't take advantage of customers like that: forgot a pen to write an address, here, use ours. I like the place that sells postal services and printer ink ( not ice cream, donuts or stuffed animals) that is so genuinely warm and welcoming.
