UPS STORE #1826 - Erik needs in depth training on how to present a service to customers who are not versed in shipping. I went to this location to send a 3-page document internationally and asked for options. I was clear that I have no knowledge of shipping. Erik was stiff, was unable or unwilling to make eye contact and provide guidance on what was needed for UPS to accept the documents. When I asked questions about a UPS document titled "INVOICE " he continued to be rigid and unwilling or unable to answer my questions and threatened that if the form was altered it would obstruct shipping and receipt, although he never explained why or how. The documents were in a protective sleeve and I thought UPS would provide a branded shipping envelope because I've seen and used them for many years. Erik never advised me that I would need to purchase a shipping envelope because UPS doesn't supply them. Instead, without explanation, he chose a flimsy brown envelope off the UPS purchase shelf. When I asked him what it was for, he told me that since I arrived without an envelope, he chose the cheapest one for me. At the end of the transaction I told him I didn't appreciate his arrogance. His response was that he should have refused my business because of my attitude. There was a coworker next to him who could see and hear that the attitude was all his. His poor behavior and skills won't stop me from doing business with UPS and it will stop me from doing business at store #1826. read more

I've used this UPS Store location for years without any problems, but as soon as there was a problem, that they caused, their true colors emerged. I tried to return two of the same items to Amazon, which Amazon makes confusling to begin with. I could not tell if the same QR code was for both items as I could not find two QR codes in my Amazon account. I described my confusion to the person at the UPS store. She said "no problem - the QR code will work for both" and she scanned the QR code twice and placed the returns in a bin. When I looked at the receipt, I remained confused and showed it to her and she said it was fine. But it wasn't. I noted after awhile that Amazon had not procesed the return. I returned to the UPS store with the receipt and explained the problem, and the degree to which I asked for guidance and conclusivity from the staff person I had worked with. Both staff at the store only said it was my fault - they took no responsibility for the errorneous processing of the return. Their only concession was to give me the phone number for Amazon customer service. I said I would no longer do business with the store and they said fine and apologized to the people waiting in line who were unwittingly about to be poorly serviced. Customers beware. read more

I used to be a very loyal UPS customer. But then I had the experience where they returned a package to me because " the apartment number was needed" even though the unit number was right there on the package. When I came back to the store to see if they could resend it for me, they said they would have to charge me full price again. All they did was give me a customer service number. So I went home and called the customer service number. And the guy at customer service told me he couldn't help me that the store should be able to help me. Awful customer service. They're supposed to have some guarantee they'll get it safely to the right place. So much for that guarantee. Guess I'm a FedEx customer now. Let me tell ya, the employees here are on top of it! I have driven 20 mins, past my local UPS where they seem to have no thoughts in their head, past fedex who aren't helpful, past USPS bc cmon; to come to this specific UPS. I know Gabriel, Olivia and Geneva aren't going to give me the gen x stare, they show up. They get the job done and done right, cant say how much I appreciate their help with shipping. BEWARE WITH RETURNS During the return process each item was taken out of their shipping boxes ( TWO Meta Quest 2) DELIBERATELY showing the rep assisting me that BOTH devices were VISIBLY inside each box! ( SHOULD BE ON CAMERA) The rep assisting me made conversation w/ me & other store rep about the Meta Quest 2 stating " We need 1 of these for the office!" The rep(s) at the UPS Store sealed the boxes and sent them off ( I was not present) . I left after being given & shown my receipt that both items were on the return receipt ( I had to make sure since it was just 1 receipt for both returns!) I rarely need to use the UPS store, and when I do, it is rather easy and brief. Hence never writing a review. However, I want to take a moment to highlight one of their employees, Jennifer. I went into pick up a print job, and there were issues. On my end and on the end of UPS; however, Jennifer stayed cheery and kept on problem solving until everything was perfect. The shop got busy during this time and Jennifer kept her cool, helping people and checking in on me as we kept on problem solving. Gold stars to Jennifer. read more

Paid them $90 to ship a package. They refused to redeliver after a single attempt. Then they requested a return on the package despite multiple calls pleading for them to redeliver. Then they messed up the address when returning it so it got sent to the store. Once it was at the store, they refused to release it to me and are trying to extort another $55 out of me in order to get my property back. Fairly certain I am going to have to get the police involved AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

One of the employees has stolen my valuables from a package months ago. The GM acted like they had a claim going for my missing valuables. After not hearing back from UPS claim services for over a month, I followed up and did my own investigation, and there was absolutely no claim filed on my behalf. So do not use this location if you have valuables or need to ship for your personal business purposes. They have a thief and management likes to keep them employed. Do not trust this store unless you want to ship Dollar Tree items. This location doesn't deserve even a star. I am looking into other legal sources right now. read more

Was told that USPS was going to charge me 30 for my package to be delivered in 5 days or through the UPS store I was at was only going to charge me 14 to be delivered in 7 days. Little did I know for five of those seven it sits in the Commerce city location and does not move on regular old week days. After it seemingly being suspicious I decided to go to the United States postal service to get an estimate on what it would have cost through them. I could have two day shipped it for 13 dollars or overnighted for 30. UPS calculator for prices for other companys is rigged to lie to the customer to gain service for the company which is subpar cost 2x as much and is 2x as slow. I will never be utilizing UPS service again because of the shady tactics involved as long as I pull breath from my body. I would recommend anyone serious about sending anything other than a sweater and a pair of socks to use literally any other mailing service. Even then I would take into account how cold it is to where you are shipping it for whoever because chances are they wont get it on time and if they do it will be days after any other service and cost more than a few extra pennies. UPS do the world a favor and let local mailing services lay your crooked head to rest. read more

I would recommend using this location ONLY if every single USPS, FedEx, and other shipping location suddenly stopped receiving and sending mail. There is absolutely no reason why a package should be dropped off to mail out, and end up sitting for three, four, or five days, before departing this location. I use those numbers because those have been the hold times at this location when I've sent packages. Completely unacceptable, and I would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere to any facility, even if it means driving to Denver. read more

I've never had a bad experience here because I've always been served in a very timely manner with excellent customer service. I usually go to this location to drop off my textbook rentals since it's the closest UPS store by my house. It's very clean, organized, and quiet. The UPS store off of Mesa Ridge Parkway always has too many people there and it gets hectic and loud. Employees are friendly, helpful and give good advice on how to ship things and have never forgotten my receipt. I'll be continuing to come in here. read more

I went in here today feeling a little bit uneasy because I've been seeing such bad reviews about all the UPS branches, but I decided to go to this branch since it was closer to me. I was actually really satisfied about her assistance that I had to ask for her name to make sure I give her credit on Yelp. She has got to be the most helpful, friendly, professional, happy, and knowledgeable employee. If I could give her 10 stars I would! Wow unacceptable. I came on a Thursday afternoon at 3:30p and they were closed. The hours listed on the door said they were open until 6p. No reasoning as to why. Don't expect them to be open during normal business hours. read more

We shipped a framed poster via this store (#2973) with insurance and the glass was damaged. We had the glass repaired and filed a claim. UPS paid the claim to this UPS store however the store is refusing to give us the money. FYI: UPS stores are not owned by UPS, they are franchises. Because of this UPS cannot help us. As far as they are concerned the claim was paid to the UPS store franchise and we have no recourse but to recover the money from them. The claim was paid almost 3 weeks ago and the store manager keeps giving us excuses why they won't pay us. This whole situation has been extremely upsetting. It appears as if the UPS store is trying to keep our claim money for themselves and we have absolutely no resource except maybe to sue them. But suing someone for $65 hardly seems worth the time and effort. read more

I paid to have my laptop packaged and shipped through this store. The laptop arrived damaged. The store has lied and said they did not package my item even though i have a reciept. After three months of failed attempts at communications, i have filed a lawsuit. Never use the ups store for anything. Lie, cheat, and steal. Wow. If I could give this place fewer stars I would. I went there today to mail off some gifts and there was a chart inside indicating the cut off dates for arrival by Christmas Eve. Today was (according to the sign) the last day to ship by UPS Ground and have it get there by Christmas Eve. The girl tries to tell me it'll be $48. I almost crapped my pants. Turns out she quoted me for 3 day shipping. When I pointed out the sign she tried to argue that it wasn't guaranteed and if I shipped it via Ground it wouldn't get there by Christmas. I told her she should maybe fix the sign then. The other girl at the counter LEAVES HER CUSTOMER SHE'S HELPING in order to come and argue with me. She tried to point to the sign and I'm like, yeah the sign says I'm right. Anyways, if anybody remembers last year, a "guarantee" from UPS is basically like a guarantee from a politician. So I was about to pay for UPS Ground, resigning myself to the fact that it wouldn't be there by Christmas, when she tries to tell me it'll be $13 to put the things in a box.
