Dale the manager and notary was horrible and rude and raised his voice to my 5 and 6 year old. I asked him to address any concerns with my children to me. He then asked me to hurry up and sign and that I needed to skip to the page that needed to be notarized only. I told them that's not what the instructions I had said. They said he needed to witness all signatures in the document then notarize the completed document. He then told me he wouldn't be notarizing anything for me. I asked him for the information of the owner of the store and he refused to provide it. Horrible place..... In response to your reply -- My phone recorded the entire conversation. I did ask him to stop talking to me and to chill while I was trying to read and sign the document that I brought in to be notarized. Did you hear where he asked me to skip to the page that needed to be notarized only? The instructions I have and a notary should know this... he is supposed to witness all the signatures in the document before notarizing the final page. So, when you say you take notarizing seriously I would have to respectfully disagree! Not once did he say please or use common courtesy throughout the conversation. Dale was rude and provided horrible customer service. As a manager the team members see that and it trickles down. read more

This store is not helpful. I tried picking up a package that UPS left with them and wouldn't release it to me even though i had all of the documents required to pick it up. I wouldn't recommend this ups store, they charge more than a dollar for "label services". Charging more than 50 cents for a one sided black and white label is crazy. I'd recommend the location over on 1735 Buford highway instead, they've never once charged me to print a label and they've even provided me boxes when I forget to bring one. I'm really disappointed in the customer service at this location. The women at the counter are clearly annoyed when I am only dropping a package off. Or require a sleeve for shipping docs. No smiles and all attitude. I understand that these are private franchises, but they still carry the UPS name. Went into the UPS store to return some packages back to Amazon which normally does not require a label or a package, however one item that was sent to me in a box I had brought to the store with the top open and not taped. The two guys that were working there told me I needed to ship the item using the box and it would need to be taped, furthermore if they had to tape it, it was the owner's store policy that I be charged $2 for a short strip of tape to close the top of the box with. Since this return to Amazon was for a defective product that arrived broken and had become so during transport, I was not interested in losing money on this return, especially for just a small amount of tape needed. I quickly looked around the store and decided, okay if I need tape, I'll just buy one of their expensive marked up convenience rolls of packing tape instead so that the $2 would at least apply to something tangible that I could use later, and would you know it, they were out of stock.... Here is what "should" have happened: UPS Employee: "Hi sir, I'm sorry that we are out of tape, and instead of inconveniencing you, tell you what I'll do. I'll forego the charge this time around, but if you need anything else taped, there will be a charge, okay?" This is what really happened: I had to leave the store with my package, run over to Publix which is in the same shopping center and purchase a pack of rolled packing tape for $2.39, then tape it up and bring it back over to finish the job. So, I can respect that a business owner wants to try and cover their overhead on supplies and materials used at a job. I also understand that some customers may abuse a free service such as taping up a box if it were made free... but wow, talk about an overcorrection on that to essentially piss off a customer over $2 for a single strip of tape that probably wasn't even going to be 2 ft long in length. The owner could have just as easily made a rule such as, we'll tape your first box free, but everything after that will be billed at x.xx depending on how much tape is needed and then maybe charge a certain amount per ft of tape used. What it really comes down to it though in the end: It should be about making things easier and convenient for a customer visiting your business, and if that part costs just a little bit extra overhead to your business expenses, then so be it? Small price to pay for earning a customer's business and loyalty. Are those things worth $2? I definitely think so. Grocery stores do not make a profit off of milk. It's a total loss for them, so why even stock it? To get people to come into the store to do shopping. In any case, it may be the owner's policy to not tape something without charging $2, but it's my policy to not do business with any business that offers poor customer service and goes against principles that I believe in. Hoping that this review will make some kind of difference so that another customer who shows up "unprepared" and ready to ship back a broken item to Amazon isn't hit with a surprise that they'll be told that they need to lose additional money of any amount and hoping that the owner decides to make things much easier for his customers, the way business should be done. read more

I read the reviews and was NOT surprised at all with the numerous negative reviews after my personal experience today with this store location in Cumming, GA. The owner tries to answer back to reviews with nothing but excuses, but as a business owner myself, you just shouldn't have THIS MANY bad reviews. You have to self-reflect and realize your soft skills in customer service SUCK and do something about it. My instructions from Amazon were to bring in the item (a stick of DDR RAM) to any UPS Store and have them scan the QR code. The instructions stated ANY UPS Store will package and send it at no charge. The day I went in to drop off the item, he scanned the QR code and took the item. I was not offered a receipt. Nothing. Hardly a "goodbye and thank you for coming in.". So, today I went back with the same QR Code and spoke with the owner. I explained that I had brought the item in 2 weeks ago and never received an immediate email from Amazon like I normally do that the return was being processed. This concerned me, so I explained I wanted to check the status. He quickly cut me off and said there was nothing he could do once he accepted the item! No liability taken from this owner/store. Basically, I'm SOL. He said it's up to the customer to request receipts. ??? I've NEVER had an issue with a drop-off return for Amazon at UPS Stores. The owner became frustrated with me when I attempted to hold him accountable and question his processes and ethics and told me, "Everyone with Amazon wants everything for FREE." I explained that this wasn't my fault as a consumer and he, as the store/owner, is liable. He stated he was NOT liable once it's scanned. Again, I questioned his process and lack of confirmation receipt. My husband stepped in as well. He became more frustrated, as did I, and stated I need to contact Amazon and there was NOTHING he could do to assist. Well, the problem is, I'm sure he and Amazon will just likely play a ping pong match with one passing off blame and I may NEVER see my return for $45. Due to COVID 19, the customer service line is not open. I don't know what to do. Again, as a business owner myself, I would NEVER behave in the poor way that this owner did. He was very rude and unprofessional (just like the reviews above state) and refused to help. Even if he showed some sort of attempt with kindness.....I would have appreciated it and thanked him for trying, but he kept trying to walk away shaking his head all panicky looking. I WILL NEVER go to this store again. I will take my business ELSEWHERE! DO NOT use this location. read more

I dont even want to give one star to this UPS store. I've been in there maybe a half a dozen times and always feel as if the staff is annoyed when I come in. They answer every question rudely, usually implying that I've done something wrong. I only go in there when I am desperate and I made the mistake of mailing a special package two weeks ago from there. It was a handmade item for one of my customers. When I went in today to tell them that my customer still hasn't received his pkg, they said there is nothing they can do. The tracking number indicated that it was never picked up from the store but the salesperson blamed it on the post office. The employee unapologetically laughed in my face when I told him I thought it was outrageous to charge $2 to print a label, especially considering his competition down the street does it for free with a smile on their face that makes you want to continue coming back. Wow! After reading these reviews, I am not surprised by my experience at this store. I used to ship and have things printed at the UPS Store on Post Rd which is the most helpful location. Since moving, the Keith Bridge location is the closest location . Yes, they charge to tape your box as the butch looking female behind the counter informed me ($3!!!!). When I inquired further, she replied, "It's not a free service that we offer." Mmm-kay. She then try to nickel and dime throughout the transaction as if she enjoyed it. This is the closest option so I use them a lot but they are always AWFUL! Worst customer service, $1 for a piece of tape (last year was free) and just stood at the front desk for over a minute while TWO employees (one being the owner)sorted mail even though the bell rings when you open the door. I had to interrupt them to get helped. They have new employees each time that have no idea how to work their systems. Lady at the front was rude. She saw me through the glass with my hands full holding my son in one arm and carrying boxes in the other. Wants to charge to tape up each box and to put a label on it. I have never been charged before. I left bc I decided I would rather drive somewhere else then to give them any of my business. The older lady with the shoulder length white hair was completely unhelpful. Most places see if you have your hands full offer to hold the door which is just a few steps from the counter. I drop packages off here very rarely, I try to avoid it as much as possible. I have large heavy boxes, usually multiple at a time. The only time someone holds the door open for me is if there's another customer behind me to hold the door for me. Even when it seems that the employees aren't busy, they can't come hold the door open for me or help me with the packages. Also, there's no door stop! What shipping store doesn't have a door stop? Other than that, they are kind of friendly, and they seem to do their job just fine. They have never lost a package and they always get there in time. read more

I scheduled an appointment during my limited lunch break from work and when I arrived there was a huge line and no one at the desk would honor the scheduled appointment!!!
