This place over charges for postal stamps!! A roll of stamps normally costs $78 at the post office. I was there dropping of a package so I thought I would save myself a trip and pick up my stamps and was charges $92! read more

They don't know the USPS shipping rates. They told me one price but when I checked at the post office, the price was much lower for the same kind of shipping, exact same box and contents and destination. Need to learn their business better. read more

This shipping depot has an eastern european woman at the front desk with a no-can-do attitude. She asked me if my packages were prepaid labels first and then said she could not scan my packages nor take this many packages for me as a customer after I carried all eight packages in to her store. I usually use the Shipping Depot in Cleveland, GA - great customer service at that location where customers are first with a 'yes-can-do' attitude. Being an EBAY/Amazon Seller I have many Fed Ex and USPS shipments. This location advertises they service USPS, however, I was told they can't take my 8 shipments. DO NOT use this location. As someone else stated if I could give them a zero I would. After driving all the way to this business I was informed I could not drop off a pkg for UPS but then said would this last time. I had dropped them off before at this location. Then an older woman came out from out back of store and told me NO they will not do so in a very rude manner. I will never do any business with them as well as my family members that live by this business. The reason she informed me was somebody dropped off a pkg and then said it was never picked up by UPS. So that it is my problem that someone said that? Now I have to drive and additional 20 minutes to ship package. Terrible customer service. Never again will I step foot in this store, neither should you, read other reviews. BTW, not my real pic. read more

I can't say enough about this great place. I have been here several times. And shipped very large items. Including motorcycle wheels Parts Etc. The owner helped me bring everything in and even repaired my box. He got on the ground and cut out pieces of cardboard and fix the box that I had. And made sure it was Secure. He helps me in every way. I am not very good at computers. I love coming here. I can just bring my things and they take over. It's always reassuring to deal here. I don't even go to the Post Office anymore when I need to mail something I just come here. It is conveniently located. They always work fast. And it is a great atmosphere. I'm so lucky that I get to come here. And use their facility. read more

Under new management. I shipped trade-in devices to Samsung and the package didn't show shipped the day I brought it to the Shipping Depot, and called upset... the owner answered and remembered me and calmly told me that he mentioned to me when I dropped the packages off that Fedex just had picked up that day and that they would be back the next day between 4 and 5, so then it would be scanned at that time and show up on the tracking. The next day the packages did show tracking and arrived at the Samsung facility awaiting inspection. Several days later, Samsung sent me emails stating they did not receive the devices and were charging me back for the credit they had originally given. I could not reach them right away and began thinking that maybe someone at the shipping place opened the boxes seeing the label showed Samsung and stole the phones, retaped the package, and shipped, anyway. I left two angry messages on the voicemail, since it was after hours, that I knew someone stole the phones out of the boxes and I wanted someone to call me back, and that I'm going leave a very bad review online. I eventually did reach Samsung around midnight, and the representative told me that there have been automated emails sent due to lack of workers, that my phones were received, apologized for the inconvenience, and stated he would resolve the issue. Then, I felt horrible for l leaving the 2 angry messages on the Shipping Depot's voicemail and called back and left another message stating that the problem was with Samsung, and that I was sorry for assuming theft. The owner left a voicemail wanting me to call back to discuss, and called several times trying to reach me, but I could not answer. Finally, I was able to answer and he was gracious and glad that the issue was resolved. He was not upset that I accused him and his business of wrongdoing, and states he just wants to have a good business serving customers, and that he just bought the business 3 months ago and he doesn't have good reviews online due to the previous experiences before he owned the company. I told him I would definitely leave a good review online because he has always answered the phone when I called, and responded professionally even though I was upset and falsely assumed theft. Seems like a great place for your shipping needs...nice owner and wanting to offer a good experience for his customers. A+++++ read more

In 2013 Jimmy (prev owner) left. I had been going here for shipments for my international/domestic clients since 2006. As of today I will never use SD with these owners. For the past 4 months I have tried to work with them every two to three weeks about shipping FedEx International Priority among other items. The owners claim they don't have these envelopes and even after asking them to stock them they would not carry, not even ONE. The last shipment took 6 days due to incorrect packaging. I know, I called FedEx. Whet in to ship today... still, no International Priority envelope. I walked out and went cross town, out of my way, to FedEx. Understand that with Jimmy and crew in the past I would walk in, they would take my items, payment, do the paperwork and 3 days (not 6) later my client would have their documents. If Jimmy was still the owner this rating would 10 out of 5. These owners have no sense of customer service for the business they run. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We had a service repair package to return to Apple. It was already boxed up with the return shipping label. They told us they wouldn't accept it because the box didn't have a battery sticker on it and we would have to drive all the way into town to ship it. I'm guessing they sent us away because they couldn't make money off of us by doing their job. Poor service. Rude employee. read more

Buyer Beware! I purchased 7 boxes to ship items in, but I only needed 4 of them. I went back the very next day with the boxes in their original (perfect) condition and I had my receipt. After standing in line, the lady behind the counter said "We don't accept returns on boxes. That's our policy." There is NO sign in the store warning of that policy, and she certainly didn't think to mention this fact when she helped me count them out when I was buying them the day before. I think she just didn't want to deal with a return. Sometimes they act like they are doing you a favor to do business in their store. They lost a very good customer - all because she didn't want to give me back a whopping $6.00 worth of boxes. Such a shame. read more

I give it a ZERO, people please go to the real post office the people who work here DO NOT do a good job, last week I sent a letter that I could track & paid over $7 to send & after a day I tried tracking it, it kept saying Status Not Available, called the company today they never received the letter so I went to the Real Post Office & sent it after I did that went back to Shipping Depot & she had the nerve to lie to my face & say it was delivered the 13th , Bull crap!!! I just checked again on it says the same thing Status Not Available, They ripped me off of my money & just stuck a regular stamp on it they are very incompetent to mail anything I will never go to this place again I'm giving you some good advice if it's very important go to a real Post Office please. read more

This store is reminiscent of good old times. Staff is efficient friendly and helpful. There is a very sweet friendly dog who entertains by doing tricks. They have pickup through USPS in addition to other shipping companies. read more

Terrible knowledge of the shipping details when it comes to ETAs. My wife took two items to mail for Christmas. I asked her to make sure they went priority mail. The person told my wife one would make it by Christmas but the other wouldn't unless she sent it UPS. So a 2 lb package cost $32.00 to send to Seattle and still didn't make it! read more

USE CAUTION!!! They will lie to you and give you one price, then while writing it up, will tell you a higher price and say there was no option for the cheaper they gave you. The clerks are incomptent, the owner/manager is unhelpful and rude. I was told my package would be delivered on a certain day - it was not. It was delayed for no reason. Address was correctly given. Will be filing a better business bureau report if not resolved. And yes, I do mean a refund! They charged me $249! read more

Only giving 1 star because I have to, otherwise I would rate it 0. I went here to ship a computer, was told by the owner/manager very rudely that they did not have a box big enough to ship it and that she could not help me, all within 1 minute of walking in the door and not looking at the supplies she had, after I had called earlier to verify that they shipped large items like computers, she then proceeded to help another customer that just walked in and never said another word to me. Horrible service and experience. I will not be back. I went to the UPS store next to Kroger in Dawsonville, they were extremely nice and helpful and boxed my tiny computer no problem and shipped it off all within 10 minutes! read more
