Hey folks, this is a GREAT UPS store ! Kenny & his very competant & friendly Staff including Hannah, Dakota & Others are always ready, willing & able to answer questions & achieve positive results. This UPS puts the UP in UPS. Also, this UPS has a "Big City Quality with a Small Town Friendly Feel". I have used UPS all over this USA for Business & Personal tasks. I know that my opinion matters. Also, those few 1 star low opinion(h)aters seem to have an "internal blemish" by injecting "Indian man or Indian men" into their 1 Star Opinion rating. So. The UPS store by Walmart is a con. I took a package there to get mailed to New Mexico. Told me price was $225. Absurd. Took exact same package to FedEx in Cumming...$37 Even with Bidens bullshit gas prices, was worth the drive. read more

I had a small mailbox here from 2017 - 2021 and was always greeted by name and with a smile, even when I went on an Amazon Prime binge and the boxes were stacked a mile high behind the counter waiting for me. Amazon returns are also a snap.They'll even seal it up for you (because who ever has tape on them??) Their system sends you emails when packages arrive so I know when to schedule to stop by. This store was one of my fav life conveniences while living in the area! read more

I paid $40 to send a FAX and it did not get sent to the correct number but because they had a confirmation they wanted me to pay ANOTHER $40 to send it to the proper number. They offered me a discounted price to $30 to resend the fax and that was just a slap in the face!! Horrible horrible people and what a shame that this is how they treat their "customers" read more

The manager here packaged a product for me in a box before informing me of the cost.. then tried to charge me $90, then $50, then $40 to ship my box. When I left to go to USPS he charged me $13 for the box he used. USPS boxed and shipped it for $5. When I called to tell the manager about my experience he laughed at me, cut me off, and was like oh well. I'd try to ship via horse and buggy before using this location. read more

I very rarely need to use an actual in person facility I love the conviences of online. Having said that today I had to go in and I must say I was pleasantly surprised after seeing the reviews. However, the USPS was already closed. There were 3 people waiting in line when I arrived. Very quickly they were on their way, as was I. The clerk was very friendly and thourgh. The other clerk even chipped in for an envelope to speed things along. He did comparisons- advised me of my options for the best deal (on his own without my iniation or prompting) I appreciated.that. I will definitely go back next time when it's necessary. I was thru the door and out in around 5 minutes! Thanks UPS store employees! read more

THIS AN EXCELLENT STORE UNDER SUPERIOR MANAGEMENT!!! I came to the store of have my electronic finger prints done by them for the vendor Cogent ID. My local shipping store no longer provided the service because it's very time consuming and the vendor pays them so little that they actual lose money with the service. Therefore I was very happy that Mr. Kenny Patel, the 3434 UPS store owner in a neighboring town was still providing the service in-spite of the the inherent headaches that go alone with it. Kenny was very polite and patient throughout the 15 to 20 minute process. I absolutely recommend Kenny at the UPS store on Walmart Way for all you UPS Store needs!!! The owner and staff at the Dahlonega store have always been very helpful to me. They have moved heavy boxes to and from my car. The owner cut down the size of a box for me to allow for cheaper shipping. I have no complaints. read more

While the services are adequate, my effort to open a mailbox required two photo IDS. When I produced, instead, one photo ID and a library card, a Voter Registration Card, two utility bills, and my expired passport these were judged inadequate to open the box. When I asked him if he thought I was trying to get a box so I could get illegal stuff and bombs and such and had gone to the extent of getting a library card and such to trick him into renting me a box, he picked up the phone and called 911 and told them I was making terroristic threats directed at him and his store. I will never return. The post office rented me one for less, and with the ID I had. read more

No "public " restrooms... so when you have to wait over 30 minutes to get service they would have you pee your pants... nice.

Horrible service- treated a customer who could not scan his finger very rudely. The staff tossed customers from one sales rep to another, wasted people's time. There were 2 people in line when I walked in and it took a very long time to get service. I needed a document notarized for me and my husband, but the sales rep incorrectly read the document and refused to notarize it. I could not discuss it with her, she had made up her mind she would not notarize it and I was basically tossed out of the store. I was later able to get it notarized in Gainesville, causing me to drive an hour and a half out of my way. Do not recommend this store, the management is awful and embarrassing. read more
