While shipping returns for Temu and Amazon, the employee at the counter informed me that the Temu items needed to be packaged. Initially, his explanation was unclear, as I am accustomed to Amazon returns, which typically do not require packaging. Once I understood the difference, I informed him that I also had Amazon returns. At that point, he refused to assist me further and directed me to use the kiosk, stating that I was "being difficult". The employee was disrespectful throughout the interaction, refused to provide his name, and walked away when I attempted to take a photo. I also overheard him telling another customer that I was being difficult, despite the fact that he had refused to assist me. I have worked in customer service for many years and was surprised by this behavior. I have been a regular customer at this location for years and have never previously had an issue. This interaction was extremely disappointing and has unfortunately made me hesitant to return due to the actions of one employee. read more

This UPS store has undergone a vital transformation, not only remodeling the store but also stepping up to provide much better customer service and self service equipment, and a more tidy overall appearance. I appreciate the changes and am using this store again with optimism that they will continue to provide an improved customer experience. Yesterday, June 18, 2025, I went to store number 3301, to mail a package to a family member away at camp for the summer! A young man named Ty was the only worker in the store a half hour before closing, and there were many customers lined up ahead of me. By the time I got to the counter, a lightning storm hit and for some reason, the computers all went down - yet Ty was very conscientious and made sure, after trying three different computers, that he got my package processed, even though several other customers had to leave because he was not able to continue with theirs! The laziest employees with the biggest attitude. Absolutely worthless, unless you're the same skin color as them. Bring back the black gentleman that used to be there daily. He was polite, efficient and a nice person. The new young male employees won't get up out of their chair to help you. They'll tell you to "scan it yourself". I (an elderly person) returned a 12ft patio umbrella which was quite a feat to move, was able to drop off at this UPS store. I called first and spoke with my HERO BRANDON, who informed that yes, they accept Amazon returns. Amazon provided three dates for pickup from my home, but no one ever showed up to take it back. I WILL NEVER SHOP AMAZON EVER AGAIN!!!! I was given an approval for return BUT no return shipping label. This item IS APPROVED FOR A THIRTY DAY RETURN. BRANDON was wonderful to me, offered to take the item from my car, gave me directions and number to call for a shipping label. Sadly, the gal on the phone informed the return code was an invalid number and nothing could be done. Because of BRANDON'S kindness and excellent customer service, I offered him a FREE PATIO UMBRELLA which costs me over $150.00. He told me HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF GETTING A SHIPPING LABEL AND MAKE THIS RETURN A VIABLE ONE. BRANDON IS MY HERO AND A GREAT MAN. UPS IS LUCKY TO HAVE HIM. GOD BLESS BRANDON! Most UPS stores are clean, organized, and have great customer service. NOT THIS ONE. The trash cans are overflowing. The place looks like a junky storage closet. This was my first time using this UPS store. If you need a label printed for your shipment, be prepared to pay $5.00 for the printing. The way they advise you of this charge is by a tiny sign at the bottom of the computer used to generate the label. The sign is easily missed. Pretty unscrupulous method for making extra change, in my opinion. Perhaps this is why the overall Yelp rating for this store is so marginal. Patrons Beware! read more

The UPS Store - Interior - Shipping Centers Near Me - Elkridge, Maryland

The owner is the rudest business owner I've ever met. I've been in this store on many occasions as it is next to my gym. I usually do Amazon returns at this store so probably around 10-15 times I've frequented this store. Most if not all of my encounters with the owner have been negative and unwelcoming. It's like he doesn't like people. He barks orders like the "Soup Nazi" on Jerry Seinfeld. On this occasion he was getting annoyed that his WIRELESS QR/barcode reader gun wasn't reading the return QR code located on my phone. He said in a condescending voice. "Next time hold the phone near the QR scanner". Mind you it's wireless. So I'm like "Alright Dude always has a bad day. This is normal. Whatever". So next item I'm returning gets scanned but he grabs the wrong item to be returned (I had another identical item and both were on the table). He just scanned the QR code and grabbed the knee brace closest to him before I could tell him which one was the one he scanned. He took the wrong brace. He proceeded to scold me again like a kid. I kindly told him it was the wrong Brace he took. He barked. "I take the one that is on the scale!!" . Both braces weren't on any scale. They were laid out on a table. "So I'm like let me get out of here. I said to him in a calm voice. "Next time let me know all the rules before the transaction". He didn't like that comment." I asked for the returned items he already took possession of because I did not trust him after this transaction with my items. He refused at first but he finally gave the items back after he asked for the receipt back. I asked one of his employees 3-4 months ago if the owner is always in a bad mood. The employee said he always treats his customers like crap. He gets mad at his neighbors who own business near his. He also doesn't rest his employees to great. Sorry dude. I've been dealing with your negativity and crappy attitude going on two years. I hope you find some inner peace. read more

The rude, disrespectful, nasty women who works there needs intense retraining on basic customer service! I'll drive out of my way to use a different UPS store from now one. To the franchise owner- you need to be more aware of how your employees treat customers when your not present, maybe it will take customers filing complaints with the corporate office before you start holding her accountable. I am sure her behavior is not what corporate UPS would find acceptable. It was obvious to the manager who was there because he gave me a card for $5 off my next shipping. So I refrained from writing a bad review but today shipped 2 items and tried to use the $5 off "frequent" customer discount card and was told it was "already used" and they would not apply the discount. How can it be used if I still had it. Your employees are incompetent and need to be properly trained. Will make sure to complain on our local neighborhood Facebook as well. read more

I shipped multiple packages here and they all got there next day! The associates here are very respectful and make sure that they are providing you with top notch customer service! Never had any issues and they always go out of their way to make sure my package gets to the receiving end safely. I definitely recommend going here instead of the post office and just having a headache with the lines and attitudes. read more

Visited today after CVS, Walgreens, and the Odenton UPS store's passport photo machines were down (really?!?!). Before I drove across town, I called and spoke with a polite woman who informed me that their equipment was working (thank the LORD...I have a cruise to go on!). Got there and waited about 5 minutes since there was one customer in front of me, and informed a woman that I needed a passport photo taken. She quickly snapped my photo, showed it to me so I could approve it (thanks!), and was walking out the door with my photos in tow 5 minutes later. I paid $13.00 for two photos (a little expensive, but beggars can't be chosers). Overall, I had a very good experience. If you need passport photos in a hurry, try here. FYI- You are no longer allowed to smile in passport photos, so be prepared to get your mug shot on! read more

Poor customer service. I usually go here and drop off my packages with no problem and my first encounter where I needed their help was extremely unsatisfactory. I had 2 packages I shipped to amazon and for the first time, I let them box it up. I forgot the charger associated with one of my items and 45 minutes later I went back to the store to include the item. I spoke with the store manager and he said there's no way to add it. I said well is the package still here? He said yes but we can't locate the package because there are no names just barcodes on the packages. I said, so you mean none of the packages to Amazon have names on it and he said yes. He then went over and looked at a package and said, oh they have names on it. I said ok can you find my package please. He said we'll wait for the guy that was helping you to come back from break. He asked for my name and wanted me to leave the charger with him. I said but what if you can't find it? Can you please take my phone number so I can get the charger back? Needless to say they called me back 2 hours later to say they couldn't find it. I don't understand how in a small store if I drop off an item and come back within the hour, how you have absolutely no clue as to where my item could be or how to locate it. It was also like an 8 1/2 by 12 item which was most likely placed with their smaller items on the counter. I have a lot going on so I let it go without a major complaint, but this was absolutely ridiculous. The manager did not want to look for the item, that's why he couldn't find it. You shouldn't be in a business that provides customer service if you don't want to help customers. read more

I wish I could give this store zero stars - because it doesn't deserve the one star I was forced to give - not even close. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UPS STORE #3301 I brought it a USPS Priority Mail package to be delivered - however, the UPS Store managed to lose this package before ever handing it off to USPS (within one hour of receiving the package). This was confirmed by the fact that the package was never scanned by USPS - which they do upon receipt of every package. Also, this UPS Store does not give receipts for USPS packages dropped off at their store. When I went in and asked to speak to a manager - they swiftly told me no, and gave me a fake number to reach him at a later date. Every time I went to the store to speak with him - he hid in the back and told the employees to say he wasn't there. When I asked about my package they told me I was, "sh*t out of luck." Long story short - this UPS Store will lose your package - not claim any responsibility for it (they don't even know what packages they have in the store) and then be rude to you the entire time. I do not recommend this store for anyone - under any circumstances - unless you like being abused by employees and losing money. read more

Stay away from this UPS Store #3301, now I see why they are never busy. I should have known when I walked in the store and no one was standing at the counter to greet me, then a young man comes from the back in about 3 minutes and did not greet me, just asked was I shipping something? I went in there on Sat. Sept. 27, 2013 to ship a package to NH from MD., I called this location back on Wed. Oct. 2, 2013 to track my package I paid for and the OWNER tells me he has no way of tracking my package with my receipt number, I was like really a shipping company can't track a shipment? I paid $6.00 for shipment and the OWNER keeps telling me that the Post Office does not offer tracking info either, I was like yes they do, it's called priority mail and it's cheaper, it's $5.00. I will never use this location again in my life, I don't care how close it is to my house and I advise anyone else to travel the extra mile to go to another location. You have been warned terrible customer service and no tracking info available from a shipping company. It doesn't even deserve the 1 star I was forced to give it! read more

I like the location and convenience of this store. I rarely come in to a long line, and the hours are later than the post office. However, I have found that as of lately their shipping prices are ridiculously high. I am starting to feel they are pulling my leg making up costs! I don't come here often but it seems lately when I do, like the past 6 months, the prices are astronomical. For example, I mailed a small zippered pouch (fabric) that I know weighs 8 Oz or less (6"x9") and they told me the "cheapest" option was USPS Priority Mail at $10.45! I think I am going to go to USPS and grab some flat rate Priority mail packaging and try to go there instead. I can't push these kinds of prices on my customers, it would drive my prices up and i dont want to do that. I think it's ridiculous and I'm tired of losing money on shipping from this store. Last month, I mailed a package that was 10 lbs, and it was $25. Tonight, I mailed a package that was 5 lbs, to the same address, and it cost the same. I don't get what the difference is!
