I had a pair of cushions that I needed to return to Amazon. After I got all the details to Amazon, they sent me a QR code for the return at any UPS store. I saw the email said to pack it in a box but since the cushions came vacuum packed, the cushions would not had fit the original box, so I said, I'll chance it.... I went to the UPS store and the clerk said to me, you have to pack it before shipping it....or....we can sell you the box..... I said, OK, how much would it be? The cushions were about 20" x 20" x 6" ....the guy took measurements and told me....$17. I said What ?????!!??? $17 for a cardboard box ????? No way. I said, I will find a box and I will come back...... I continued my errands and I went to get some produce at Monterrey Farmer's market. I saw Edwin, the owner and I asked him if he had any spare empty boxes he could give me...he said sure.... He got me a nice big box that was perfect for the cushions. Location is extremely convenient. This is near where I work and given that I'm usually at the office, it has happened once in awhile that I've had to reroute a package there. That and because my job sometimes uses UPS, I've had to drop off packages there as well. Oh, and then there's the one time I went to pick up mail from a P.O. box a girlfriend of mine closed out given her moving. All these experiences have always been short and sweet. I came in here the other day to print some things for work. I was in need of color printing for presentations. I called first because the file was on email, not a thumb drive so I wanted to make sure there was a way to get it to them. The associate let me know it could be emailed to him and we could get it printed. With only one associate in the store, it became a little harrowing as people kept lining up. You could see and feel the employee's stress level rising. In a rush he ended up pulling the wrong email up and almost printed someone else's documents thinking they were mine- good thing he asked me to confirm the copies and number of pages. The printer's stapler function wasn't working so I had to manually staple them which isn't terrible other than the fact that I was in a hurry and felt like I had taken up so much of his time already that I just wanted out of there. The paper quality as well as the ink was really great. I was impressed with the output in the end. A little stressful getting there, but was really pleased overall. read more

UPDATE - it appears that out of three packages i recently shipped, not only did the 2 I shipped from this location take substantially longer to arrive, the contents are apparently missing. This resulted in an investigation which so far appears to indicate how this location functions: they seem to undercalibrate the scale. A package with virtually identical contents shipped here shows a weight of 0.75 lb vs 6 lb+ at the other UPS store. My mistake for not double checking at the time of shipment. It seems I can't in good faith recommend this location at this time for shipments of any return merchandise when the customer may be in a hurry and doesn't verify the weight on the shipping receipt. I will update when I find out more. Hopefully they can fix the problem. No street parking upfront. Very practical location for downtown business but what good is that in light of my recent experience? read more

I'm very disappointed in this location. Up until recently, I considered this store a business partner. Since the change in ownership, everything that could go wrong has. They have sent my packages to the wrong address, typed addresses in wrong constantly, have personnel that are discourteous and very slow. They do not keep accurate records and have changed my agreement to exclude discounts I've had in the past. They are also very defensive and take no responsibility. It's always someone else's fault. I have never written a bad review about any company in the past but feel that this is my only recourse at this time. Believe me, I'm not the only one. The owner, James, spent a ton of time working with me to make sure the printing looked like I wanted it to. Had 4'x4' painting to ship from Ft Lauderdale to Atlanta I weighed at home very nearby 27lbs Gave credit card # and ask UPS to ship and email me invoice (I live across the street) Got call must go by freight so be it. Charge was $649 So when received in Atlanta 8 days later cardbrd box damaged and felt "light" with invoice that stated 123lbs so I weighed it Total 51lbs. Hands down The Best Mailbox Service around. I have had a box with Jim and his team for over 4 years. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the services they provide for me and my business. I have a never ending flow of packages being sent to my UPS box, 3-5 heavy packages a day, and I love that I get emailed the second one arrives as I'm always in a rush to pickup stuff. We even have had super heavy and giant items delivered and never have a problem. I'm always having car bumpers, hoods, fenders, even 500lbs of wheels and tires delivered and I've even had a king size bed mailed to their store once (sorry about that one guys). They always have a smile on their faces and take care of business. I love this store and it's staff and know they treat every single one of their customers just like me. As for parking I always just pull right up and I'm in and out in a minute or less most of the time as the guys see me pull up half the time and start grabbing my packages and mail. While at The UPS Store I learned of their mailbox services. They actually have a legal Las Olas Blvd street address with email notification. My business is now located at 401 E las Olas Blvd, Suite 130 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. How professional and cool is that?? :) Also, when I opened my mailbox they gave me a "Key Saving Card." When my mother passed and I was the executor of her will, I wasn't sure how I was going to distribute her belonging. I did a Google search of Estate Shipping and found this location. After reading the reviews, I contacted them, and they came out to my mothers condo in Fort Lauderdale. They helped separate the items by the person to whom they were being shipped. They stabilized the items for transport back to the store for packing that would meet UPS standards and then shipped all of the various items (fragile collectibles, paintings, clothing, furniture, etc.) to the appropriate family members.
