Every interaction I've had at this UPS store has been wonderful. The people working here are all pleasant to talk to. Sometimes they're incredibly busy and still somehow get through the customers quickly with kindness. It has to be annoying doing a ton of Amazon returns every day, but they do it efficiently. read more

Went in for a simple passport photo print. It was for my grandmother so I had the picture on my phone, on an external USB drive, and in the cloud. Apparently, they do "not have the technology" to print a passport picture which they do not take themselves. So heads up, if you need a passport picture for a child or elderly person who cannot go with you, you might as well go elsewhere. And from the attitude I received, they do not plan on getting this high tech technology. read more

I used to have good experiences here and this was my go to place for shipping but in the last year and a half has become abominable. I had my husband send a package for me - he didn't get a receipt, it never arrived. They also lost an amazon return which I ended up having to pay for. When my husband went back in to inquire and try to locate the paid shipping package that never delivered some woman was extremely rude and unwilling to help, turned and waddled away I find most businesses in the country town disappointing and similar. Rude & unhelpful. It's no wonder things get lost - the place is always messy behind the counters. read more

I had an appointment for a notary, arrived five minutes early, and waited in line. I was told by Brandon to wait by the table and he would be with us in a moment. He then proceeded to serve the next 3 customers that arrived after me and were behind me in line, and help another person who also arrived after me with another problem. At five minutes after my appointment time, I reminded him we had an appointment. He was very discourteous and told me he would help me when he was ready. Ten minutes after my appointment, he came over to do the notary. My wife and I asked him why he proceeded to help the next 3 customers behind us in line and a fourth customer with a fairly involved question when we had an appointment. At this point he raised his voice and stated he was not legally required to do our notary and walked away Given that multiple people who arrived after me were served before me, and that the notary was 10 minutes late, I'm not sure what the purpose of an appointment is at this location. Poor service. Poor quality. There are many other locations that will do notary or ship products for you in Gig Harbor. i will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Can hardly believe I am reviewing the UPS store but it's been horrible service one to many times. The last two times were at least comical but now the jokes on me. This time was as simple as needing to forward some mail to my son who is away at college. I asked, after waiting in line, if I could get it three pieces of mail into a UPS envelope and if they offered a flat rate for this sort of thing. It was suggested to me that I needed to purchase something off the shelf and fill out a slip, then jump back in line. The light went off; this is not a real UPS store. I'm headed over I the real UPS store near Costco and will not be returning here. They should change their sign or something. This isn't the real deal. read more

The people of "no" from the moment I walked in the door without saying a word. How to be racist without openly saying you're racist. They were doing everything they could not to have my business. I was met with "are you sure it's this UPS store?" As they have each others back. Again, I barely spoke a word. I was only doing what the call center told me to do. They were rude, did everything they could not to help. They all ran after the Caucasian lady. Tripping over themselves to help her. Yet in the end tried to make it my issue. 17 hours ago Probably the lowest level of organization and customer service I have ever encountered. As a long term MyChoice customer, today took the prize for worst UPS experience. With a delivery notice in hand: First, wouldn't look for my package, didn't believe it was there, had to call main customer service and they verified indeed it was there since 10:38 am (now 3:30pm), an hour after patiently waiting for manager to re-call main UPS number in which they verified it was indeed there at the store, was told "they said it's still on the truck"... 2 minutes lafter, another employee walks up to same shelf and found my package. Kathy and Brandon (the one with a ponytail) were totally disconnected from customer service in every way. Busy Christmas times aside, this place has an organization and caring problem. read more

I was shocked at how messy and disorganized this store was. Paper, packages, and boxes everywhere on the floor, counter; a huge mess. When I asked to have my very small item and wedding gift cards put in a box for shipping, I began to be concerned that my items could get separated from each other and I asked that they box them up now while i was still there. They proceeded to go where I couldn't see them very well and I hope that everything got in. I won't be back. read more

The ups store is great. They have helped me with simple and complicated things. They take Amazon returns constantly which must get annoying but they do it with grace. All the staff is nice. I come here 6-10 times a year and have for 5 years. Good work! read more

The UPS store is always helpful and easy to work with. They do a great job mailing packages, taking passport photos and I love their cards.

$2.15 for 1 page!! I went in to print something off of my flash drive. Most print stores have a print machine that you can plug your flash drive into. They don't here so they let you use the computer. What they don't tell you is that they will charge you for the 30 seconds of computer time. I've been here before and they never charge for that. I printed 1 page on plain paper and it cost $2.15! What a rip off. I asked if I could have emailed the file to be printed and they said yes. They should have let me know ahead of time that there was a charge for usb printing but not for emailing the file and printing. The 2 employees were not sympathetic at all to the situation. read more

I have never had an issue with this store until tonight. I showed up at 6:30 on a Thursday night and the door was already locked despite business hours showing until 7:00pm. That was one thing, but I was able to make eye contact and wave as well as knock on the door only to be completely ignored by the three employees inside. I stood there for five minutes being completely ignored before I decided it was a waste of time. There was not even a sign posted explaining why they closed so early. If they want to close at 6:30 they should update their business hours or at least don't completely ignore people who expect to be able to drop off a package! read more

I hope I never need to step into this shop again. The customer service afforded to me by the franchise owner, Jim Entres, last Thursday afternoon embarrassed me and was deplorable. I'm a 64 year old woman and I've worked in the service industry. I would never have the nerve (even if I wanted to), to treat a valued customer the way I was treated today. At 10:30am I received an email from UPS stating my package had arrived at the Pt Fosdick UPS store and was "ready for pick-up". I arrived to collect my package at around 4pm. I gave the clerk, Jim, my name and showed my driver's license, just like I've done many times before. I was promptly, curtly and repeatedly told my package was not there, and if I didn't like it, I could take my business to another UPS store up the street. I was stunned by those comments as Jim had not even looked for the package in his system. I asked Jim why he was being rude to me and he sneered and said he wasn't being rude to me, I was being rude to him! I explained again I had a UPS email notification stating it had been delivered there at 10:30am. Jim went behind the desk and I could hear him grumbling about how he hated looking around for packages in "situations like this". He returned and told me the package was not there. And that if I didn't like that answer I could take my business elsewhere. Others in the store witnessed his behavior. He still didn't look on the computer for it. As I was walking out the door he shouted that I needed a tracking number. I walked out to my car, got the tracking number, came back and stood in line again. When it was my turn I got Jim again:( When he finally looked up at me, he said I could "continue to wait in line for the next clerk". I told Jim I had the tracking number and he wrote it down. He grudgingly went to look for it again but never looked it up on the computer. He stated that he had already told me it wasn't there and repeated again(!) that I could do business elsewhere. At the same time I noticed my package sitting on the floor in plain sight and pointed that out. He quickly picked it up and ushered me out the door without signing it out. All the while continuing to reprimand me. I asked to speak with his manager and he said he was the manager and franchise owner! After I got home I emailed Jim at the UPS store explaining my feelings. I did receive a response stating he's been in business there for 29 years, that it had been a bad day, that he was sorry and hoped I'd come back. I don't think so. I must say, that all of the other employees in this store have always been friendly and helpful. Jim should stay away from customer service and let his employees manage the store. Everyone who has ever waited on me in the store has been super helpful and friendly and proactive with their suggestions and information. I have never had a bad experience here, and have always wanted to hire away the people who are working there to work for me. I just think they do an awesome job. And they make it really easy because they always have all my right information they suggest better prices on shipping and they just always treat me like they're happy to see me. I'm shocked to see any bad reviews here, since every single one of my interactions at this place has always been good. Amazing service!! I had to have pictures printed for my daughter's wedding guestbook! They turned out beautifully. And so affordable! I went back again to talk with the graphic artist, Brandon. He created a menu card for the wedding and it turned out perfect! I could not have asked for better service or better product! I will certainly use them in the future for any of my printing or photo needs! Very very happy! The staff is extremely unhelpful and the prices are ridiculous. The fees for notary services are exorbitant. My wife was trying to print there on color paper....the cost was $.50 a sheet unless you purchase a Pre paid card. After ringing the total up my shocked wife asked if she could buy a prepaid card and they told her sorry, it was already rung up, and now too late. At one point the printer jammed up and she asked for help. The attendant looked at the machine, said "I don't know what's wrong with it" and walked away. Go somewhere else...anywhere else. The public library next door is better service and they have printers. Small local businesses should work hard to provide better service...maybe that's too much to expect these days. read more

Took my $50 for "overnight delivery" from Gig Harbor, WA to Sierra Vista, AZ Friday am. Actually, delivery was set for noon Monday. I asked specifically if package (original auto loan release from credit union) would be delivered to my home. I was told it would be. Package was delivered at 11:15 Monday am. It was stuck in the chain-link fence surrounding the property along a public road 350 ft from my house. There is an unobstructed driveway onto the property. The local store says complain to Corporate. Corporate says the local store should issue the adjustment. Typical BS run-around. read more

I highly recommend the UPS Store on Point Fosdick for your shipping, printing and graphic design design needs. Their customer service is top notch. I have had a mailbox at this location for years and they treat me like a VIP when I stop in there a couple of times per week. Their pricing is on par with other stores but it's their people, knowledge and location that standout most to me. Just off Point Fosdick across the street from Uptown Gig Harbor. I started using this store to pack and ship my art glass to my clients. Each piece is original and one of a kind, so if they get broken, they cannot be replaced. Not only is the staff courteous and efficient, the take extra care when packaging my fragile glass art. All pieces I have shipped through this store have arrived unscathed. My only experience has been with their mail services, and they are very friendly and helpful! I chose a PMB over a PO box because they accept package delivery: mail theft and fraud seems vampant in Gig Harbor and the last time someone committed mail fraud through stealing mail from my mailbox at home, the sheriff recommended a UPS private mailbox for safe delivery of both mail and packages. I do wish they had longer hours on Saturdays and more affordable shipping, but the rest of my experience in 3 years has been excellent! read more

Great staff, friendly, helpful and courteous. They go out of their way to make sure you get your packages and your box mail and I believe they have more than one notary on site as well. Highly recommend over a p.o.box as they can sign for your ups packages. Good place. read more

Should have checked Yelp first!! The negative customer service comments correspond to my experience. My relationship with this location was a complete joke. We are finally ending our relationship with them. Had we known what a mockery of fundamental customer service this place was we never would have engaged them. We maintained a mail box here for a few years for my wife's business. Every single time we go to pick something up there is a problem. If you are receiving mail you have to sign for you are stuck in the line. No sensory awareness among staff to ask "anybody just picking anything up?" Do we have any of our loyal customers who have paid their dues year after year here to just pick up a letter and be on their merry way? NO! this concept is foreign here. Sure you come in the store 3 times per week but they don't recognize you. It's true that you just want to pick up a letter that you can see right there on the shelf but of course you have to wait for 3 people to get their boxes wrapped, someone else who doesn't have any other way to fax in their cereal sweepstakes entries, and someone who needs a notary so they can get a title for their car. Oh yeah, there is also usually some joker asking about a passport photo. Never mind if you are 9 months pregnant and are standing there sweating and frustrated because you've been dealing with this same shit for 3 years and your 4 year old is saying his own version of "WTF" because even he can't figure out what the problem is. They don't tune in to this stuff here, just suffer it. Here is your solution - get an employee with some personality and situational awareness. Herd the cattle that come in in a sensible fashion. Ask people what they need and prioritize them accordingly. Be nice and apologize for stupid shit when it happens. read more

Poor customer service and after 6 years I have had enough supporting this company. I cancelled company mail box service after being ignored and not being acknowledged. After three days so I would send an appropriate note to the manager, she did not have the courtesy to respond. I guess they are so successful they do not need faithful customers. read more
