I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store location. Before I even got in line, I went up to the clerk and asked if I could use their tape or if I needed to purchase some. He snickered and didn't respond. I asked again, "Does that mean I can use your tape or do I have to buy it?" He finally said I would need to buy it. So I purchased the tape and got in line. While I was taping up my boxes, I overheard him offer to tape two other women's boxes for them at no charge. That's when I became concerned about the inconsistency. When I got to the counter, I politely asked why I was required to buy tape while he offered to tape their boxes. He snickered again and refused to answer me. After snickering more times and ignoring me for several minutes. He avoided eye contact and would not respond directly to my question. I told him I was just asking for clarification and didn't understand why he wouldn't communicate with me. After repeatedly asking for an explanation, he finally said, "Those were Amazon packages." I explained that mine were Amazon packages too, but he still didn't provide a clear answer and continued to ignore me. I then asked for his name, and he refused to give it to me. In the end, he charged me $4.99 plus tax for the tape anyway. I have never experienced this level of dismissiveness and unprofessional behavior. Being ignored, snickered at, treated inconsistently in front of other customers, and then refused a name when I asked was extremely frustrating. I dropped off both a UPS package and a USPS package. The clerk accepted both without any issues. However, a week went by, and the USPS package still wasn't tracking. When I contacted USPS, they couldn't locate it either. I called the store twice and spoke with Marlon, who turned out to be the owner. Instead of being helpful, he was defensive, incredibly rude, and even threaten to hang up on me. He outright told me he couldn't deal with me. I was shocked to learn that as the owner, he referred me to speak with a manager at a different location instead of trying to help me. I'm extremely upset with the lack of customer service and professionalism, especially since I was never informed that the store has no system in place to account for USPS packages dropped off or picked up from their location. If it gets lost, it's completely at your own risk. Avoid dropping off any USPS packages or any package where a receipt cannot be generated at this store. Marlon is terrific. I could say a lot, but let me just stick to the simplest measurement of a great UPS store: awesome service and work product. I ordered a bunch of print outs, with different paper stocks, different alignments, etc. Usually, when I do this, at other print centers, confusion and chaos ensue. But not with Marlon. I showed up, and he had printed them all, perfectly, and rapidly (in the intervening ten minutes between my sending of the email and arriving at the store). The customer service at this UPS store is unbelievably good!!! Each time I go in the owner and rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and make me feel like a truly valued customer. Yesterday I asked about a large printing job. They showed me an option that would have been quite expensive and then said why don't you email it to us instead which would be considerably cheaper. I said I would do that when I got home. Within 1 hr I received a phone call from the UPS store asking me if I had sent my printing because they had not yet received it!! Wow!!! I had not sent it yet but did so. The printing was super fast and $$$ cheaper than fedex and staples. Amazing store and amazing staff. Thank you!! read more

As a Great Falls resident, I try to support our local businesses and hope that all of them succeed. With that being said, I went into Marlon's UPS store for some advice and an estimate on printing 200 brochures for a charity event this weekend. I had priced the job at three other big box retailers, hoping for a discount and prompt service. Marlon gave me the best price, a higher quality of paper, and folded the brochures (no charge). He was happy to support the charity and understood that every dollar counts. In addition, Marlon never broke a smile and completed the task while I waited. I couldn't have asked for better service. Awesome customer service. I stopped in Saturday with a pre-paid return. Even though the store wasn't officially open, the owners (both of them were there getting ready for the grand opening) offered to hold the package and ship it on Monday. Shipped a guitar and paid for three day shipping. Guitar didn't arrive in time. Owner called and said I'd be refunded my shipping costs. A few days later owner called and said UPS would not refund my shipping costs. Won't be going back here again. Where else do you get charged for a service and the service isn't provided. Let me tell you, paying 3-day shipping on a guitar is really expensive. It was critical that the guitar got to where it was going on time and that's why I paid for this service. Do not do business with the UPS store if it is critical that your box arrives on time. There's a US post office two blocks away from this store...will be going there in the future for all my shipping needs. read more

I have had Marlon, the manager of the store, come to do house pickups for me twice this year, and each time, I not only got the most friendly, accommodating, and efficient service imaginable, I was also showered with kindness and moral support over the recent death of my mother, whom Marlon had also helped several times with home pickups. He was very patient and helpful to me even though I wasn't familiar with the process and wasn't fully prepared, and even though he had plenty else to attend to. My office is located nearby and we are using this store for all of our small business needs. Printing, shipping, notarizing documents, mailbox and getting all the supplies is easy here. Customer service is impeccable and quick!! The hours are very important as they stay open till 8PM on weekdays and are open on sat and sun.
