Beware- they charge $1 for a strip of tape. Leaves a poor taste. Have to type 85 characters.

Swindled my dad. He had his motorcycle there for over 2 years. They didn't fix it, told him they…read moredid, charged $700, then he was driving home and it locked on him, he took it back. They kept it "working on it" for almost another year, said over and over people saw it and wanted to buy his bike, he kept saying no because he just wanted his bike to work and ride it. Finally they called again, said someone was wanting to buy and how much does he want for it. He said he'd let it go for $1500. He was over not having a bike and it seemed as if it was an unfixable problem since they'd been "trying" for 2 years and it still wasn't fixed. They sold it for him and then took $500 for "referring him". So he lost $1,200, is now down a bike and is too nice of a guy to say no or complain. Run away from this place.

Visited Motion Plus a few times with inconsistent service, so I'll write this review as clearly as…read moreI can to explain why I'm giving a 1 start review. The first time that I visited was to service a scooter that needed a bit of work to get it up in great shape. Service was good - they did a great job on the scooter, but customer service was lacking as they ordered a part and then forgot that they even had it, which delayed me being able to pickup the scooter. I went back with my motorcycle and was treated standoffish and like I was an annoyance - I don't take offense to people as we all go through things in life. When I went in the next time the manager, Josh, said that he was going through a hard time with his wife and was in a bad mood that day because he had "things going on at home and had taken it out on me." I showed compassion to him and we moved forward with an oil change on my motorcycle. While I was there, I wanted to order a part for my motorcycle that they did not carry - I was specific and even asked for him to double triple check that it was indeed the right part. He checked for the part and ordered it through his vendor - I paid that day and signed a restocking contract that said I would have to give a 30% restocking fee if I returned the part after 30 days. No problem - sounded fair. I made sure that they had my phone number and felt confident that they could handle calling me when it came in. He wrote my number at the top of my ticket and double checked it was in the computer. The oil change was the highest price that I had paid and I have traveled most of america on my bike at this point. I was happy to support a local shop, however. After waiting a couple of weeks for a call on the part, I called and they said they didn't have the part in. I waited a bit longer and then sent someone to pick the part up for me. At this point it had been over 30 days and I still hadn't received a call from them (phone records to prove it). When I finally got the part - not only was it the wrong part all together, but it was for the wrong side of the motorcycle. So, not only was my money wasted, but my time as well. I went to talk with Josh about the situation, yet as soon as I stepped up to the counter he said "What did you do this time?" As if I had done something wrong or he was upset again. Moving forward from the comment, I communicated clearly that the part was not the right part nor the right side and wasn't useable to me, but he immediately said he wouldn't return the part without a restocking fee. I tried to tell him that I didn't receive a call on the part to pick it up, yet he raised his voice and said that I came in there with an attitude. This was not the case, however. I was even interested in buying a different part as well as the part that I had previously tried to buy from them. I brought someone with me who can attest to his behaviors surrounding this... glad I did because Josh is a tall guy and I'm a small female. In seeing that he was flustered, I offered to compromise and work through the situation with him. He "refused" to. When someone refuses to compromise... let alone accept responsibility for something, I have learned that they are not a healthy individual. With this being said... I wished him well. Sometimes things happen to people that we do not know about. Maybe someone hurt him in his past and it makes him unable to carry an adult conversation. Maybe I remind him of someone who hurt him before? Anyway, I pray for Josh and his family... I have much compassion. I left wondering what he has been through to treat me this way. In the most caring of ways- I hope someone can give him a hug, because it seems that he needs one. I will no longer be a customer at Motion Plus as the prices can run a bit higher and the customer service is unstable.
