They charge more than other UPS stores. I shipped two identical items to the exact same location within 2 days of each other, one at the Wall Street location and one at the 110 store across from Whole Foods. I had both store pack my items and Wall Street charged $130 and 110 charged $70, almost double the price!!! I asked them at the 110 store and they said they are all individually owned franchise locations and they basically charge whatever, total rip off!!! Don't go here, go to the 110 location. read more

I was returning an Amazon item I didn't use. Upon walking in the door, A young man with bright red hair said "I can help you!" In a very enthusiastic manner. I had opened the return QR code in my iPhone while still in my car but when I got to the counter it was gone. The young man said if you have the Amazon app on your phone we can get it off that, which we did. Then he said "I like your hat." If I needed an employee I would hire him away on a heartbeat. I have been in a number of UPS stores and I never had such a positive experience even though it was only a few seconds long. read more

I called the UPS store in Southdown before going there. They **said** they could score, fold and staple, none of which was true. I'll never go there again. The tech said he'd run the job while I waited. And waited. Took an hour for a run time on the printer that should have taken 2-3 minutes at best. After making a correct sample, he printed the first run upside down. Second run, he ran out of paper. The paper he put in the machine didn't match the color of the first half (a cool bluish tint compared to a yellowish stock). He kept disappearing into the back and also assisting other customers while I assumed the job was running. Go to MinuteMan Press on Gerard St or FedEx. Anywhere but here for a print job. read more

They may be friendly, but that's because they have to be. You can tell when someone is loyal to their customers. Aside from their lack of authentic loyalty, having a PO Box with them is very expensive. It's not worth the money. Be sure to change you address with all your providers at least one month before closing out your box. Once you close your box they don't want to know you. Very poor customer service. read more

I have been going to the UPS store since they were open. I am a 67 year old women have to say in good shape but non the less 67 years old. I was returning a large box today, if there was a video you can see me dragging it into the store, which is fine. I stop at the 1st scale closest to the door, and young man and a women were standing at the other scale, she said you have to bring that over here. Not her nor the young tall man offered to help. I dragged it over and then the nasty little B, said you have to lift it and put it on the scale I then again looked at the young man and her and said do I get some help and she said just lift it up. I can only tell you she had short redish color curly hair, the 2 much younger then I stood there while I lifted the box onto a scale that was table top. I was looking for the return marker on my phone and while I was looking for it I heard the music of Queen playing in the background I said "oh Queen I love this music" trying to get this B to at lease smile, either way she corrected me and told me I had the wrong return slip. which can happen but she pushed this customer I asked her to do herself a favor and smile and be nice I would be back tomorrow. she stood there with a stone face like she was angry at the world. Well I printed out the label and will try and return it tomorrow if she is again standing there with 0 respect for customers I will call her out. read more

This was my second attempt to return my Amazon package, as I went earlier in the day but the guy behind the counter told me I needed to return with a box. I asked him if I needed to pack it up as I was going home anyway to get the box. He told me that wasn't necessary, to just bring the box with the package. I returned and someone else helped me (young guy, black glasses, dark hair) and he practically scolded me for not packing it up. I told him what the other employee had told me and he proceeded to interupt me, talk over me loudly and wouldn't let me finish my sentence, all the while looking down and muttering under his breathe as he was angrily slapping tape on the package. Really? After returning home, I looked up the store on Yelp and saw all the bad reviews. Now I know why!!! Guess I'll go to the other Huntington location. I paid $100 to overnight 2 covid tests to my son in Charolette NC. They arrived three days later. My claim for a refund was denied, because they said there was bad weather in Kentucky even though the tracking had the package in Charolette the next morning where the weather was fine. The store said that I had to take it up with the corporate office. The corporate office puts you on the automated phone merry go round, and once you do speak to a person they have no answers. I don't think I've ever written a bad review for any business or product - but this one is needed as maybe one day when they wake up they will realize that they did nothing to build or retain business. They are literally the only game in town so that's how they continue to get away with it. Today's straw that broke the camel's back - I called at 4:51, said I lived 8 mins away, and wondered if I caught a bad light over the under 2 mile trip would they have to door shut at 5:00 on the dot. "Absolutely" was the answer. This location is not at all accommodating and the reviews are mostly correct. More often than not - you are a burden to them. If any competition was anywhere close - they would deservedly be out of business in a week. WAKE UP - make customers feel as if they are not a burden. (Or get jobs doing something else - as any level of customer service is clearly not your forte.) This is not a UPS business model issue - it is a management / employee shortcoming. THEY DESERVE NO STARS...HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE... I had TWO vintage EXPENSIVE receivers to ship to California. Went to this Huntington store based on their website stating that they "will package electronics perfectly" for shipping. I also bought their "insurance" on each package. Once I got there they are very rude people. I thought I only have to be here a few min so get over it. Gave them the two receivers for packaging and shipping. THE COST: $45 EACH to provide the packaging and pack "EXPERTLY", They cost $218 EACH each to ship to California, They cost $32 EACH to insure for $2400 VALUE EACH. NOT CHEAP SERVICES...Total Cost: $526... August 11th they were shipped... Contact in California received on August 17, BOTH DAMAGED... UPS driver in California noted in his records that BOTH boxes were damaged. Contact opene3d both boxes and the stereo receiver wood cabinets were broken, electronics wouldn't function. UPS was notified that day...Here we are on September 7th (30 days later) and I can't get a straight answer from the UPS Store in Huntington, I can't get an answer from UPS...This morning I filed a law suit trying to get this resolved. I recently dropped off an "Express" mailer for overnight delivery at the UPS Southdown store just before closing time. Once home, I realized that, in my haste, I had put only an empty envelope inside and not the urgent materials intended for delivery. With little hope, I called the store. Informed of my error, agent "Mike" called the UPS truck back and rescued my parcel. He waited until slightly after hours for me to return with the intended materials. Mike's colleague, "Mark," then used his own car to catch up with the truck -- it had departed in order to maintain schedule -- and handed the parcel to the driver so that overnight delivery could be accomplished. Not done, Mark called on his cell to confirm all had gone well. This is service far beyond the call of duty, extended with kindness and concern. Poor customer service is an understatement. An item scheduled for a third day delivery never arrived due to an incorrect address placed on the shipment by an employee. While I received a refund ( which was given reluctantly and without an apology) the package was again re routed and I am told it will now arrive a week after I sent it. Three people in the store and no one can fix my problem and more importantly they act like they don't care. Will be speaking w ups corporate about them. I had asked for some help with making my new set of business cards at this location, when the "graphic designer" tony showed me his past work I decided to take my business elsewhere. The things he showed me I could have done myself in paint. I really hope he does not get paid extra for what a child can do. Also heard same associate and others speaking about how they over charged a customer for about 50$ like it was a game or something.
