Went above and beyond to help me ship a large 13x13 painting to Alaska! They didn't have the box I needed so I went to U-Haul down the road and came back and they made sure the painting was safe with extra bubble wrap and taping for its long journey. I love this location. Devon is my favorite. He is a young African American man with long red twists in his hair. Whenever I am confused on how to return an amazon package, very frustrated, mad or need a box he goes out of his way to calm me down and fix the problem. He doesn't just send me home like other employees have. He's very laidback. Which is what customer service needs. He is always cleaning so he goes out of his way to keep the place spotless. Whenever I go to the Inglewood location, I request him. I also like his manager. I'm not sure of her name but she is a nice Latina who always smiles and is patient. Since Devon is there and very helpful, I will not ever go to another UPS location, staples etc. to return a package. They are rude with horrible customer service. If you go to this location, I suggest requesting Devon or his Latina manager. Devon should be the assistant manager. Devon and the Latina manager need a raise. Tell Devon I sent you. Lol! read more

I usually come to this location because I like supporting small businesses and it's near me! The woman who run it have been helpful and kind, which is why I'm not giving it 1 star. However, today making an Amazon Return, the front desk guy, with AirPods on, took some time to support me and waited until a line formed. When he started to attend me, I immediately felt like I was an inconvenience. I asked for his help because the Amazon self check out machine told me my item was too big and needed to be helped by an associate. He immediately began to question me and why I put it in the box. I said the coat was too big to fit in a bag since it was vacuum sealed. Then he proceeds to sigh and open the box. Then I gave him the QR codes and he got visibly and verbally annoyed when I told him it's two items. With attitude, said I was not going to get a refund for both items then. He then stated it should've been in a box then (which is what I did-- and he just opened it). He handed me the receipt to which I asked if I was getting the refund since he just took the opened box, to which he annoyingly said yes. It was very unpleasant and unnecessary to be treated like that, especially when it was clear he was not listening to what I said and was annoyed a customer had to ask him for help. So I feel like that if that man helps me again, I'm going to have an unpleasant interaction and don't trust he will be helpful. I'll be checking to see if everything ended up okay with my return. read more

I've been using this location as my UPS Preferred Acess Point because UPS drivers aren't the best at delivering my packages to my door. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. When there is an issue they explain what the issue is and how to resolve it. They've even gone above and beyond when I've missed a pickup deadline and have held it for me an extra day or taken it out if the return bin to deliver it to me. They've also called me in the past to remind me I have a package that's getting ready for return. I've seen rude unsatisfied customers and even then the staff remains calm and friendly This is a franchise location so services may differ from other franchise locations which is not uncommon. After reading the negative reviews it looks like they're from people who didn't do things correctly and have taken out their frustration on the staff: 1. Your return info will tell you weather or not you have to package it yourself - Amazon recently changed their policy so you do have to pack and pay for postage when returning to a UPS store 2. You are able to review a label before you leave the store It's sad to see this small, black owned business get negative reviews from people who have no justification to complain. read more

The moment I stepped in, I was amazed and very pleased with the cleanliness and organization of the store. Aside from it being a heavy rainy evening, it gave a fresh welcoming feeling. Customer service over the phone and in person was on point. I needed a document notarized so I called ahead during my lunch to ask for the hours available for this service (which I'm glad I did before heading out there). The gentleman provided me with the hours for this service with a friendly attitude (didn't sound annoyed as most business do when they have to provide information) which I greatly appreciated. Turns out he gave me accurate information and did find someone available to take care of my notary request at the time of my arrival. She was professional and friendly and demonstrated knowledgeable in what she was doing. I definitely recommend this store and will definitely be returning for other shipping needs. read more

My presence in the store was acknowledged by everyone. As I continued to complete my business transaction with the gentleman up front, Ms Yvette (I believe was her name), even chimed in to confirm that everything was okay. I really would like to ask them how they came up with $3.50 as the email fee because that's ridiculous. Yes, I walked out of tbs store fast. This is funny because I so happened to be in the store at the exact same time as the last reviewer @Courtney A. I was literally waiting next behind her. Unfortunately I perceived the experience differently. There was a white lady at one register and black male at the other register, they were a little busy at this moment. It's very sad to see race brought up in a black community #1 inside a black owned business #2 when this was completely false. They were very attentive due to the circumstances of them being busy (probably rush hour since this is the afternoon). Come on people we have to do better. Seems she was mad she had to wait which was in no one's control. If being in a black business makes you this uncomfortable maybe you should try another location which probably was even more crowded. read more

I never write reviews but my God. Everytime I come to this UPS to deliver a package there's an issue! They tell me I gotta come with my return products already packaged when my return instructions are telling me they are supposed to box it for you. Not one but TWO packages now have been lost at this location. One time, I shipped an item out for return and it was on my doorstep the next day because they made the label incorrectly. You don't even have the satifaction of knowing if your package will be delivered or not. There is no accountability or even any decent customer service, I'll never ship with them again and I suggest you don't either if you care about your packages and their timeliness. read more
