My aren't they special to take so much time off so they can celebrate new years.Very entitled .I saw at least 13 cars and trucks come and go while I was there wanting to get in! We visited this store for passport photos. We were greeted by the employees at the counter as soon as we walked in. Our photos were taken and expertly adjusted for size and quality as required. The employees at this UPS Store could use some customer service training. I went to send a small package to a relative in the UNITED STATES Virgin Islands...not an international address. They told me they had to treat it like an international shipment even though I have shipped to this exact address through a UPS Store in Seattle dozens of times without going through this process. When I questioned this process, he looked irritated and I shared my experience shipping from Seattle and he said he couldn't do anything about the computer system. I asked if he was sure he entered the USVI and not the BVI, which would make it an international shipment. I told him that I could take it to USPS instead because they could run in through without it triggering an international shipment. I wasn't mean about it, just giving information. He took it personally and I told him I was simply trying to figure out what was happening and why it was happening and come up with a solution. He just kept getting more irritated so I picked up my items and started to leave, I suggested he check his attitude and he spouted back at me that I was being rude first. I said, no, I'm just a woman being assertive and direct and he perceived it as rude. I gave it a bit then called to report the incident to their management and I was met with the manager defending the employee and he was even more curt. The sing-songy sarcastic tone he had over the phone told me everything I needed to know. He made sure to say, very loudly, probably so the other employee could hear him say it, that they treat everyone equally regardless of their gender. If a person (in this case, a woman) asks clarifying questions and gets attitude in return then maybe it is an umbrella problem with their customer service. Take a look within before causing conflict with your customers. I called the corporate number and kindly suggested some additional training at this store. It is sorely needed. I think you have the capacity to do better. read more

I love this store and have been using their services for years. The staff are always kind and helpful - even during the busiest times. They advise customers of the least expensive options and keep track of previous package destinations, making shipping a package very easy! Visited on March 25. I had never been in this store. The young man who helped me was so kind and extremely helpful. He saved me about $60 in shipping! It was so great to have such excellent customer service. I will be back for sure. read more

I'm not a fanatical mask proponent but I do think (given the increase in COVID-19 nationally and in the Flathead Valley) it's a common courtesy to throw on a mask. After all, it's not exactly a Herculean task. I also believe businesses have a higher level of responsibility, as their employees are coming into contact with hundreds to thousands of people everyday. With that as a backdrop, my visit (today) to the UPS store in Kalispell was pretty disappointing. Despite the store being adorned with "social distancing" and mask-mandate signs, there was no control provided in the over-crowded store, as people lined up next to each other throughout the lobby area. Furthermore, there were three employees: one had no mask on, one had his mask hanging from his left ear (while coughing into his hand) and the third had hers covering just her mouth. (And stop insulting the intellect of the community with ridiculous "medical condition" hokum purportedly preventing your employees from wearing masks!) With no other UPS store in the city, the choices are limited - but I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere. And my advice to the UPS store: if you can't handle the responsibility of being open during a pandemic and take customer safety seriously, shut down and post a sign with directions to the US post office down the street. read more

Best place in town for shipping and receiving. The staff are friendly and know their jobs. I have been doing business here for over ten years and will continue! If you are worried about Covid, be an adult and take responsibility for yourself. I walked into the UPS Store on East Idaho in Kalispell and not one employee was wearing a mask and there were no plexiglass partitions between the clerks and customers. I immediately backed out and called the store to determine if they had special hours for at risk customers. The manager said no. I asked why not one clerk was wearing a mask and he proceeded to quote the Governors' directive that exempts those with medical conditions. Yeah right, every clerk was a 20 something and I'm supposed to believe they all have a medical condition. When Montana has the third highest covid rate per population in the nation and Flathead County has the second highest number of cases in Montana even though it is fourth in population, the actions of this manager are reckless and irresponsible. I'm taking my business to Whitefish. read more

This is the place to go if you want to get Covid-19. The employees refuse to wear masks. They claim to have medical conditions, but they're almost all young and look very healthy. They also totally ignore social distancing. I've been there twice when the room was totally packed with people as in pre-covid days. Masks are a sign that you care about the health of others and want to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. These people are very selfish. read more

Unless you do business with people living in the past and actually need a fax machine,need a copy and do not have a printer,and love to be overcharged for anything this is the place for you.I stopped coming in here long ago because of the prices and extemely rude people the owner employs.Usps does not charge nearly as much for anything and they are not nearly as rude,so why keep coming here?Either Way,I didn't have an "experience",it took way more then once going in there to arrive at my conclusion. read more

Sad that this store would politicize the use of masks. Some store employees don't wear masks, and they have posted a notice that masks are optional. The store is at times crowded with NO social distancing at all. Safer to go elsewhere read more

I am extremely disappointed to see this hub is not adhering to the state mandate for wearing masks. Sign on the store front states most of the store employees have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask. I make many trips to the store and have not seen a single employee wear a mask. Is corporate aware of this store's refusal to follow a state mandate? Staff themselves make no attempt to maintain social distance with customers. There is not a safety shield between the teller and customers. Related signage is minimal, the sign on the front door regarding why staff will not wear masks is larger. Unfortunately, I can no longer be patron to a facility where I feel unsafe due to managements blatant refusal to act responsibly during our state/countries struggle with Covid. read more

I have been a customer of the UPS store in Kalispell, MT for 8 years now. In that time I have had an opportunity to use all of their services and really appreciate their hard work. I find them to be very friendly and courteous. They can help you with your overnight packages and you can be confident that your package will get to its proper destination on time. They wrap your heirlooms and precious packages carefully and always cheerfully. They can design your flyers and business cards in a manner that represents you professionally. They have several big copy machines that can handle your copy needs. If you need to send mail and forgot to bring a big enough envelope they can sell you one too. I can think of no other place in town that I would comfortably recommend for your shipping needs. I have found Chris and his girls to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable. read more

I like to use UPS online, purchase shipping, print my label at home, slap it on and drop it off here, bypassing the lines. Its great!!

Really wonderful customer service. And they have great hours. Never had a package arrive broken. And they've never "lost" a package.

So Andrea and I took a bunch of stuff to ship with the Whitefish UPS drop next to Walgreens, today. We also went there to discuss their recent quote for us to ship a huge table to Texas. Their original quote was for $455 plus $140 for crating the item. They called back claiming they made a mistake on the original quote of $455 and it was actually $588. I said that was fine and I understand what happened. I called the customer about the change and she was reluctantly o.k. with the change. Cool. So the guy to crate it came to the store to assess the table and what it would cost. He called to tell me that it would not be $140 but $200! O.k. So I went to the UPS people to ask them to work with me on the second change to the fees and they told me "they will not honor the original quote"!. So I asked them to please work with me so that I didn't have to call the lady back and ask her for another $60. They told me "that's too bad, we will not work with you on it and you will have to live with it". Andrea, the store owner said, "o.k. that is fine, I will cover the extra myself". Then they told her "Come Back Here!" Take your shit and leave the store and never come back! This actually happened in Whitefish after 6 years of shipping with them! I want to spread their shame and expose them as liars and cheats and bullies! Please share and DO NOT give them your business!
