i have used luv-a-lawn for two years. my lawn didn't look up to par. then one day i was home and…read morestopped my technician, francisco, and asked why my lawn always looks, well, not so good. he told me the grass is always cut to short, and my watering was not programmed properly. he gave me some other tips and since then following his reccomendations my lawn now is awesome green and full! francisco knows his stuff and really cared enough to help. great job!!

Failures to Communicate and Unreliability…read more I'd had an issue with my irrigation system and was having trouble finding reliable people to come and repair it. I found Liv-A-Lawn's website and noticed they listed "Sprinkler and Irrigation Service." I called them, and the person I spoke to said "No, we don't do sprinklers." I pointed out their website had that listed and was told, "No, that's not correct. We don't do sprinklers." So, with that, the conversation was over. This should have been the first red flag I paid attention to. The next day, I got a callback and spoke to Mike, who informed me that I had been told this incorrectly. I was concerned about the lack of clarity on their services, but I spoke with Mike because I needed the system fixed. It had been several weeks already, and my lawn was dying. Mike was very cheerful and said they could get someone out to help by Friday. He even convinced me to sign up for additional lawn services. He left saying that "someone would call me in the next few hours to schedule." Red flag #2 The full day went by, and I never got a call. The next morning, Thursday, I took a break at work to call and ask about getting scheduled, mentioning that I had never been called back. The representative apologized and said someone would call me right back. By the end of the day, nothing. I called again in the afternoon and was told the same thing. In the end, I found someone else to fix the problem and canceled all the services I had signed up for. I was told, "Oh yeah, we're booked out for weeks. We couldn't have gotten anyone to you for at least two weeks." Well, why couldn't they have been honest and said that in the first place? So, again: They failed to know their own products, couldn't be bothered even to return a call, and then admitted they weren't honest from the start about what they could offer. Another disappointing company that can't handle the bare minimum, but wants me to buy the deluxe package.
