I purchased an item on Amazon and needed to return it. They make it super easy to do so at UPS. Request the return and Amazon will send you a code to show to UPS, and that's it. They will repackage and return ship for you. Easy peazy. 11 read more

Workers are horrible unqualified for their job not helpful at all! They can't do a basic service like any other ups store.

After using this store for years now, I can honestly say the owners and staff are truly awesome! They have always been extremely knowledgeable of shipping questions and have always gone above and beyond to help me. After experiencing sickness last year, they always offered to help carry packages to the car and would ask how I was doing. (Which meant a lot during such an ordeal). I have been present when customers have gotten upset about pricing and other variables that are out of staff's control and am impressed how they manage such unpredictable anger. read more

The UPS in Tates Creek Center has the absolute best employees. Employees Justin and Josh were absolutely the friendliest and most helpful they could have ever been. The professionalism, friendliness, and overall courtesy even when they were busy is just the epitome of customer service. I never once felt rushed or that my difficult printing order was annoying to them. Even manager Kayla who was called to help assist while she wasn't even clocked in took the time to make sure my order was printed correctly. I have used many UPS stores in the past and the one on Tate's Creek has to be one of the best. The employees have been great and very caring during this pandemic. I work in healthcare and understand the importance of masking and keeping your distance. As busy as this store gets they do an amazing job of trying to make customers abide to the standards of wearing a mask and social distancing. When my husband and I moved to Lexington, KY, we needed a secure mailbox for our mail. Because we were currently house-hunting, we did not yet have a permanent address, so we could not get a USPS PO Box. Thankfully, The UPS Store on Tates Creek made everything possible and with stellar customer service too. Later that same day, we also needed some documents scanned to our insurance company and The UPS Store had me in-and-out of the store in minutes. We have had AWESOME customer service and are always greeted by a smile when we come in during business hours. We are officially fans. read more

I have used this office on occasion for package dropoff and pickup. Super-fast, friendly, and efficient. The office itself is very small, but there's usually no line (or at very least, a short one). Definitely a better option than having to head to head to their main office for pickup and a lot easier to get in and out of than FedEx Kinkos. read more

I went to send a care package to my son who was serving in the US Air Force in the middle east. Just some candy and snacks. I placed it all in a cardboard box and sealed it up, just as I had done a couple of other times. This time this young man told me that I would have to purchase one of their boxes for approximately $10. I said "why"? He said my box was not acceptable. I asked again "why"? He said (and I quote) "Well let's say it was in shipment and a refrigerator fell on it. It would crush it." I laughed and said "so, you're telling me that in one of your boxes - if a refrigerator fell on it it would not crush it?" He responded "Yes". Ok, you've got to be kidding me. I seriously doubt that any box purchased at UPS Store would survive a refrigerator falling on it. Then I told him, "It's just candy and snacks, if it doesn't make it - no big deal". He said "You'll have to purchase one of our boxes or I can't ship it." I have used this location in Tates Creek Center many, many, many times and have never had this kind of experience. The young man was rude and arrogant. I will drive well out of my way to go somewhere else from now on. Oh, by the way....the US Postal Service took the package with no problem (which was how the UPS store was going to have to ship it anyway) and the package made it with no problem. Amazing. No refrigerator fell on it or anything. Rude and arrogant service. I have other alternatives to mail and ship items, I'll just have to drive further. But would rather do that than to be treated this way. Won't be back. Don't know why my review is showing me in San Francisco (and I don't know how to change it). I'm in Lexington, Kentucky read more

Horrible. Dropped a package off there with a pre paid label. I forgot one strip of tape and they saw a chance to make money, probably because it was prepaid. $1 for a piece of tape. TAPE! I will NEVER use them again for anything. I am a small business and have many needs, but they will not be fulfilling them. Went here today to drop some packages off. I had my toddler with me holding her and the barcodes on my phone to print off labels. Waited in line for a while and Nick helped me. He was so incredibly rude! I couldnt find one of the barcodes and needed a minute, he told me to step aside while I look so he can help someone else. He didnt apply the labels to my packages like other employees always do, just gave them to me to put on myself. I was annoyed he made me step aside when he could see I had my arms full and made me wait for him to help someone else instead of literally giving me one minute to find what I needed. Nick was very unfriendly and unprofessional. I'll never return to this ups location again! He needs some customer care training!! read more

So I had some thing I had purchased that I needed to send back to the company due to an issue .while in this process I needed copies along with packaging for the return . When I arrived I was very kindly and professionally Greeted. The gentleman that proceeded to help me was very kind and Full of answers. Because of the awesomeness of they worker I was finally at ease !!! He made my experience pleasant, easy,painless and enjoyable! The price was not to bad I did everything for under 10 bucks . I have always had an excellent experience with this store. The staff are always personable and go out of their way to assist me. After spending all week dealing with so many unhelpful notaries, I walked in this place to find they could assist me with an e-notary. They went out of their way to assist me again. I appreciate great customer service since there are not many businesses that practice it anymore like these guys seem to. I was about 20 ft from the door right at 8pm, closing time. The customer service person may or may not have seen me running for the door. However they still locked the door, seemingly right in front of me. Ignored my knocks at the door. Proceeded to lock up the store, ignoring me the whole time. Then when they left about 10 minutes later the answer I got was "I can't help you, come back tomorrow." Now I can accept that I was cutting it close and maybe the computer systems were shut down for the day but to flat out ignore a customer, regardless of whether or not they would have actually been able to help me tonight, I just don't understand. UPS quoted me a price to do an address change of $20.53....these people wanted $42 double!! and when i went to pick up my package they stored it on a trash can in the store where anyone could have stolen it. price gouging and disregard for customer property. Why you had my package on a trashcan where anyone could have stolen it is of no consequence....the fact that it was there is the point. i was re addresssing a package and you tried to charge me double....end of story. read more
