The last two times I've been here to drop off a package, the lady was extremely rude, patronizing, and unecessarily condescending the whole time. Every word and phrase made me feel like an absolute idiot, just because I didn't use her packaging or because I taped my prepaid label in the wrong place, according to her. Went to the store to return some Amazon packages. Had everything boxed up with the labels on my phone for quick scanning. The associate was very rude. My boxes needed tape. The associate told me it was my responsibility to tape up the boxes myself and put one piece of tape on the boxes. She said they use a ton of tape a day, not sure how with the sliver she put on the boxes. I wouldn't have even minded that she explained that to me but she was so rude about it. We just didn't know. I have never had an issue with the ups store on wards road until today...I had some amazon returns, and I didn't know how to use the self service return table...I made a mistake and asked for help and they ignored me...First off one of the workers acted like she had an attitude and she was on her phone and acted like she couldn't help me...I definitely would not recommend the UPS STORE ON WARDS ROAD AT ALL!!!...Timberlake road ups store is by far the best!! read more

This store is conveniently located in a strip mall. Compared to DC, there wasn't a line at lunch time. The employee was nice.

I would like you to continue your training in customer service with a new gentleman there named Jake. I found my interaction with him to be a bit unnerving, and I think others in there found the same. I'm sure he's a good person, just some difficulty with social skills. Don't get your books rebound here.... the guy did such a bad job. Like if you're going to have a hard time with it tell the customer what the issue is going to be so that they can make a more informed decision. The book is now completely uneven. One page is just randomly above all of the rest because he had to punch different holes in that particular page. This is so unprofessional... he handed the book to me as if this okay and nothing was wrong with the book the way it looked. So if you have a book that has seemed to come out of the binding don't go here to get it rebound. I would prefer my book before to this mess. read more

We sent a document from this business guaranteed delivery for the next morning. Over 24 hour later the document was not delivered and still sitting at the Lynchburg hub. We picked it up at the hub and drove 12 hours to hand deliver it ourselves. They promised to refund our money as it was guaranteed. 3 weeks later and hours on the phone and waiting in the store, we still do not have our guaranteed delivery refund. If I could give this particular UPS store 0 stars I would. The grey short haired lady that works/ runs the place is quite possibly the most rude, miserable, mean, nasty "customer service" individual I have ever met. I have had the displeasure of dropping packages off at this store on multiple occasions. I go out of my way to work with any other associate at this location if at all possible. Had to return a book I didn't need for a class. Had everything ready to go, including packing slip and prepaid label, but needed it boxed up. Guy behind the counter, Thomas, boxed it up and charged me $8 for the box and peanuts. Could have sworn it didn't cost that much when I returned a similar book 6 months ago, but maybe cardboard and styrofoam is more expensive now. Anyway, what bothers me is when I asked about including the packing slip in the box (as per the instructions of the company I'm returning the book to), Thomas said I didn't need to include it because the prepaid label has a barcode on it for them and they can "just suck it up". As someone who has worked in retail management for 20 years, I found his comment and attitude to be a bit disconcerting from a customer service standpoint. read more

The employees that work here are so friendly. I wish I knew them by name but I come in here probably once a month and all three of the employees (two different women and one younger man) who have helped me have been so kind and helpful. They always strike up a conversation with me and ask how I am doing. Great customer service. read more

I stopped by here today to drop off a prepaid ups package. It was already in an envelope and I had already printed the label. I only needed a few inches of packing tape to seal it up and it was ready to go. Every other ups store I've ever been to is happy to share a few cents worth of packing tape, BUT NOT THIS STORE! The General Manager charged me $1.00 to seal my envelope with tape. I kindly paid the $1.00, informed her I'd never been so outrageously overcharged for a piece of tape at any other ups store, and told her that as a customer, it did not sit well with me. But I paid it without further protest. Who knows what else this place charges extra for! Go elsewhere if you can! They certainly have no interest in repeat customers or how they treat their customers! read more
