The store was bright, friendly, had kids toys out, and smelled wonderful. I was immediately impressed. The man welcomed me right away, although he was helping someone else. He looked at my phone and gave me instant hope that he would be able to fix it. He suggested it was the battery, and that I leave it and he'll call me with options and diagnosis. He also informed me of the $10 diagnosis charge which i thought was very fair. He messaged my Bfs number in about an hour, said it wasn't the battery it was the screen and gave me two options, a more reasonable priced one and a more expense one. Appreciated the options. When I came back to pick the phone up, the store was pretty busy, but he recognized me right away and had my phone ready to go. When you suddenly lose access to your cell phone, you're in a very vulnerable state and I'm very thankful their stores like this you can walk into and find somebody that can help you. Just a heads up to everyone with the Verizon app. When you pull in the parking lot you will receive…read morea push notification to check in online before walking into the store. DO NOT do that. I checked in on the app, saw I was the next person in the queue, and waited for a text before walking in. When I was greeted I was told I was unable to be moved to the "front of the line" because people walked in before I walked in. I pointed to my phone and said I had been waiting in line already, and that I checked in before they walked in. She saw on her iPad and my phone that I was next in line but said I would be placed at the bottom of the queue. I watched at least 3 groups of individuals walk in after I checked in and I was not willing to wait for them to be helped considering I already waited in my car for 10 minutes so I left. It was very frustrating considering every other business where you check in online, you get placed in line based on the time you check in. The walk-ins after you are placed behind you in the queue. Don't send notifications to follow the app check in process if it's not honored in the store.
