Slow and understaffed. I waited over 20 minutes to get a receipt on a package that was pre-labeled. They only have 2 windows open and yesterday, one woman took forever with several international shipping packages that were not ready. The other window still went slowly with unlabeled items to ship. By the time I completed my 30 second transaction and left the store, there was a backup of over 10 people waiting behind me. A couple of weeks ago on a Saturday, they were not open due to being understaffed. Many of the items I ship depend on Saturday Express Shipping and I had to drive to Ashland to make my delivery deadline. Recommendation: have an express window and if you are short staffed, the owner needs to work. read more

Horrible experience. Going in, I wanted to see if I could ship wine. I had a box of 12 I bought to support local winery proud of my hometown and live in seattle. I came in and said I would love to ship this box (unmarked) home. The younger guy proceeds to tell me to put it on the scale. As I set right in front of me he says "what's in the box" and before it gets out of his mouth he OPENS my box. So disrespectful and rude to do something like this. Who has the right to go through things? He then says nope can't ship wine rudely. NO INTEREST working through a solution or what some options could be. In a small town, you should go out of your way to help a store stay in business with everything closing around. My mother has mailed me a package from this store and I've FaceTimed her as I opened her package and it was repackaged in a different box and missing half of the items! Had an issue with my package being delivered to the wrong residence. (THE ERROR WAS DUE TO THE FACILITY I MADE MY PURCHASE THROUGH USING MY PAYMENT ADDRESS INSTEAD OF MY SHIPPING ADDRESS)Called in to find out where it was delivered to, because it never got to me. I had to call like 3 times and let the phone ring to the point it auto ended the call. I finally spoke to a lady and we started trying to rectify the issue. The lady told me that the package was delivered to apt #D, when I tried to tell her that there is only three apartment units in this building, A, B , C, she decided she no longer wanted to listen to what I had to say and continuously tried to talk over me so that she couldn't hear what I was saying. She essentially spoke to me like you would a 5 year old child, as if nothing I had to tell her held any significance to her amazing, intellectual contribution to the discussion. I am 38 years old, prior service; active duty, army (combat M.O.S.), honorably / medically discharged, in 2012. I also hold a Bachelors of Science, in criminal justice. I really, REALLY do not appreciate being talked to in a condescending manner, nor do I appreciate being continuously talked over, I feel that I have done enough in life to not deserve that kind of disrespect (and I assure you, I am no 5 year old child). After about 15-20 seconds of her childish behavior, she decided she was going to play the victim and handed the phone off to a male co-worker. The male co-worker, asked me if "I was cursing at his female co-worker" (which I hadn't raised my voice nor cursed, I just began talking over her like she was doing to me and she didn't like it!). I explained what had just taken place, to the male co-worker, and he instantly seemed to understand (as if he knows how she is, because she is probably always like this). Within 20 seconds of talking to him, I was able to figure out exactly where the package was delivered, by putting together bits and pieces of info, as it was coming in from the driver,and was able to retrieve it myself. This happened because he listened to my contribution to the situation and I listened to his. What is sad is if she hadn't felt that it was necessary to try and take complete control over the conversation, and be unwilling to listen to anything I had to contribute, this whole thing could have been situated in two minutes. TL;DR: Although, the lady seemingly has some personal issues she is struggling with, I was able to find out where my items were shipped to. I also have to mention, the driver who delivered, came back to my residence, after his routes were finished, and made sure that I figured out where my shipment went (it was just next door) and that everything was situated now, which it was. I commend him for doing something he didn't have to do, by any means. However, the overall headache of dealing with the lady was enough to make this a pretty horrible experience. I purchased a few things at an online auction and was quoted $27.00+ roughly for a very small box to have shipped about 100 miles or so..I had no choice because it was an online auction house and they use 3rd party shippers...If I would have known it was another UPS store I would have PASSED...I complained about the cost AT first...so was given roughly a $3.00 break So when I get the package it was weighed at 2 pounds when it only weighed Exactly 14.7 ounces (8" box)...that would have cost by regular UPS prices $10.00 and some change. So I sent an email complaint but never heard back on why a UPS store weighs a package 1 pound over the actual weight and charge nearly a $17.00 handling fee for a bag placed in a 8" x8" small box with one sheet of bubble wrap to hold it in place? Never had good dealing with ANY ups stores and will avoid them every chance I get.UPS themselves are good but the Franchise stores are WAY over priced read more
