Here's another stellar review for this UPS Store location on Marco Island. The fact that I have to give one star to a business that deserves zero stars is actually pretty annoying. The staff here are complete jerks. It doesn't matter how nice you approach them. They are disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and just plain nasty. This location claims to offer notary services but, apparently their notary quit. I can't imagine why. Do yourself a favor and prepay for your shipment and drop it without having to deal with the staff or throw inconvenience out the window and go to another location. A note to whoever owns this location: Do a clean sweep of the a**holes you are employing here and hire real customer service oriented people. We were recently in your store to send an 8lb package 25 x 25 x 3" to ZIP Code 14228 You quoted us $505 to send this package When we questioned if that was correct you threw both arms up as if we were idiots and how dare we question you instead of re-checking or double checking your numbers which would've been a completely reasonable thing to do We left your facility, immediately went to the UPS location in Naples where we sent the exact same package on the exact same day to the exact same ZIP Code for $37.07 which was completely reasonable This was the third visit to your store in the past three months where we received truly horrible service Shame on use for coming back after the first time! can I give a negative star? I have been getting the run around since March. Karyn mislabeled two boxes of my clothing, bags and shoes. I had to track them myself. They were supposedly returned to sender. I wonder where they are ? The store manager, UPS corp, and the franchise division Have all been useless. I am out thousands of $. This location always has long lines and you actually age while you are there because they are so slow. Every time I go there doesn't matter what time of day there are lines out the door. UPS's answer to the long lines year after year is to do nothing to alleviate the wait times. Hence, poor customer service because they can! I am begging UPS to find a solution to offer customer shorter wait times. Oh, wait I have an idea put in an automated return service for Amazon returns. We have one at our UPS store in PA. So, they do have solutions, so for goodness sakes use them!!!! read more

I went in to return an item to Amazon. I have popped in to send packages many times here before. I was treated so rudely by two people at the desk..."My job is to scan", I was told by one awful man. I presumed him to be mentally challenged, if that is all he can do in the store. Another employee, Boston, popped over to add his two cents worth about the transaction, mumbling " I am not doing this anymore ". As a resident here on Marco for more than thirty years, I need to share that there are much better shipping options. Right across the street at Sunshine Booksellers you will be treated with respect and friendliness and receive professional service. I stopped by the UPS store in town center on Marco. I have always gone into the store and had excellent service and very nice welcome. Today that changed I had an employee by the name of Boston who upon walking up was very rude. He continued to be very rude throughout the conversation. I will say toward the end I called him a smart A as I was Frustrated by his attitude and comments And that package was Not getting to destinations on time ( week late) . I will go back to the UPS, as I have always been greeted with a smile and very courtesy until today. I guess with the sign on door saying help wanted, it is hard to get quality emoloyees. read more

I visited the store today to ship an Amazon return. This return required I print the label. I emailed it to them and the woman stated it would come up at the front printer, motioning for me to go get it myself. Not a big deal, just not something I have experienced at any of the UPS stores by where we live. They always go grab the label from any of their printers. Then I noticed she printed both pages, the first page was the printing instructions and the second page was the label. Being that I wasn't the only person there doing an Amazon return I am pretty confident this isn't their first time with this. It wouldn't have taken more than a couple extra keystrokes on her end to print page 2 of 2 considering they charged $1.33 to print the label. That's 66+ cents per page. The most I've been charged at another UPS store is 25 cents with the average being 10 cents and some still don't charge anything. Not the best customer service to take advantage of patrons. Makes you wonder how many times a day they do this. Will avoid this place when we visit family in the future. read more

Always call in advance before you venture out to this UPS store. I arrived 15 minutes late on a Saturday but a note on the door said open Sunday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Arrived Sunday at 12:15 and guess what, a new sign is up stating Sunday hours from 10:00 to noon. Two trips wasted to this unreliable business. Avoid if possible. read more

Usually only review restaurants, but this is an exception. Went here to drop off an Amazon package. The first time I've been here or at any Ups Store with a line, but the employees move everyone along politely and efficiently. All the employees were friendly. I asked about a box for another shipment and the store manager himself showed me various boxes to ensure I purchased the correct one. He even taped up one side for me and offered to finish taping it up if I came back with the filled up box, all for free! I have never been treated so well at any shipping outlet, be it a UPS Store, FedEX Office, or USPS office. And sadly you get no help from USPS, they don't even answer the phone. read more

Stay away, unless you just have a drop off and don't have a deadline delivery. My tax forms and info were put in a large flat envelope for 2-day delivery to Connecticut at a cost of $55. I left the parcel off on Sunday morning and was told that if would be delivered by Wed in CT, 3 days later (the cost would exceed $90 to arrive by Tuesday). I was not told that the envelope would not be picked up until 5 p.m. on Monday to go all the way to the UPS office in Naples. The envelope than sat in Naples for almost 2 days and was not delivered in CT until Monday noon, 8 days after my drop off. When filing my rebate claim, the Marco manager commented that the Naples office is known for its poor service. My rebate check arrived 16 days later for $43, rather than $55. The Marco manager did not inform me that their portion of the order was not refundable. Poor customer relations locally and poor UPS service otherwise. Stay away... see you at the Post Office for such shipments in the future. read more

Horrible business! They deserve a NEGATIVE 5 STAR rating if you want to rate them accurately! Stay away at all costs! I didn't read the reviews until after the disaster of receiving my business mail there. Wish I had read the warnings from all of the other customers before going there. They are the absolute WORST! Will take your money and return your mail. When you ask why they explain it was an ACCIDENT. The only accident is that somehow they got a license to operate. Soon there will be a much better UPS store on Marco and these guys will remain the ugly nightmare that they once were. read more

Shipped documents second day air and was charged for second day air. Was told that this was only guaranteed for overnight shipments. I've been tracking the package as it progresses through the UPS system. It has clearly been processed through their GROUND sort locations, not their AIR sort locations. At it's current rate of progress it will arrive in 5 days, not 2. At least in my case, this particular UPS store charged me for second day air and the shipment is being sent via ground. Not sure if it is the retail outlet or UPS itself that's retaining the upcharge here, but I would have been better off going to the post office. read more

Employees are discourteous and surely. This wasnt with me. I noted this with a number or the elderly customers that were in the store. The store itself is fine, albeit a bit cluttered. The issue is the personel. There needs to be a management change, and some customer relations training. I love our UPS delivery drivers. However the UPS store! There is no excuse for people to be treated like that. Its undignified, and makes UPS look terrible. read more

Manager incorrectly states a delay in package due to incorrect address which is flat out wrong according to own UPS website, they don't guarantee overnight delivery and if it doesn't make it there tough luck that You paid nearly 100 to get it there overnight without any additional insurance. Great business practice. Add the fact that items were missing items raises enough questions to skip this place for future package deliveries. read more

This location is so convenient on Marco; right next to Publix, easy in and out. However, I ordered a pool float this summer and it was defective; it had a whole. Amazon, as always, certified the return. Unfortunately, my float with a hole in it never made it out of this UPS office. Someone five fingered my return. Never again!! Do not have this ups store pack and ship your packages. They did not pack our valuables well and did not take responsibility when items came broken or damaged. They did not honor our insurance on our goods either. I spoke with the manager multiple times and she did not take responsibility or ownership of the problems with our packages. She blamed ups for not letting them use better packaging. Bottom line - go elsewhere to mail your packages. read more
