I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID RIGHT NOW!!! On Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 around 12pm, my wife went in there, which she's done frequently, to return two Amazon packages. She provided the emailed QR code sent by Amazon and the young, blonde girl was unable to scan the codes. She blamed my wife saying my wife took a picture of the QR code from our home computer as she claimed it was blurry. My wife said the girl was beyond rude, condescending and demanded that my wife download some QR code app to use going forward. She then put the packages back into my wife's hands and dismissed her. My wife is a senior citizen and rarely drives. Usually she's given a ride. She was humiliated in front of a packed store as the girl had no tact, professionalism or volume control. In fact they equaled her level of customer service!!! There is evidently NO customer service there based on the evidence of little to none existing example!!!!! I've read the other reviews and it's absolutely PATHETIC that the ownership and management don't realize, OR CARE, enough to truly provide good if at the least decent service there! They should be ashamed!! These people ride on the "only game in town" principle, based on the businesses proximity to other options, thinking their business will always bring in customers in our small town. WRONG! We will never go back, and everyone we know we will warn and discourage doing business there!!! If you are reading this, DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS if you can help it!!! MANAGEMENT- Don't waste your time writing an apology/justification email in response to my review!! You should have put the same time into PROVIDING PROPER TRAINING AND PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Talk about poor customer service! I was trying to ship a box and the guy at the counter gave me such a hard time because I was reusing a box. He was very rude and said, "I was trying to circumvent the law by using this particular box." He kept insisting I purchase a new box. His co worker stepped in and said I could use said box. I've been coming to this ups store for several years now and they, historically, have had issues with their customer service. However, recently I've seen some new faces, and today I had my best experience yet. A woman I hadn't seen before (teal hair!) was absolutely amazing and went as far as helping me find a discarded box for an item that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to return because I failed to bring the right package for it to be able to be shipped. An employee just told me I needed to buy a padded envelope to return a book to Amazon. The return slip clearly says, in regards to a UPS store "will scan the QR code, pack and ship your return for FREE." Make sure you print your return slip and take it with you. I had another encounter where staff told me I needed to buy all these extra packing materials. I go into the store all the time. Some times are busier than others. I am always greeted and have conversation when time allows. It has a bit of a small town feel that way. I am surprised by the reviews as this has not been my experience. It does take time to input addresses, confirm correct address and consider you insurance options, but that is part of shipping a package and a part of making sure liability is properly assigned. I have shipped from all local locations, and they all have to process your order, which does require some patience. The only quicker way I have found is to weigh, measure and print my own shipping lables if you have a UPS account. Even then if you get anything wrong on the weight, they will charge you what is due. There is a wait at the post office to ship, almost always. Office Depot is similar, no quicker really except for the fact they may or may not have others shipping or printing. The other place in the Commons seems more expensive IMHO. There are two ways about 1. Get er done and 2. Get her done right. Shipping ain't easy! read more

i was just checking the store hours and decided to read their reviews , and seen all of the comments regarding how "Rude" the woman that runs the place is I thought it was just me ,or I had caught her on a bad day which is why I didnt write a review previously , its been almost a year since this encounter ,I was shipping some paperwork and this woman (who runs the place) had a attitude towards me like I just spit on her shoe or something at first It made me even more polite ,but it reached a point to where I said enough is enough and asked her point blank in front of the long line and I quote " did I do something that P***ed you off or something , because im picking up on a severe amount of attitude directed at me from you ,if this is too much trouble for you I can go elsewhere , this is what you do for a living correct?" , she gave no reply and in fact it did not even phase her past her looking up briefly im Native American and the paperwork I was sending was going to Bureau of Indian Affairs in Canada so she had to see the paperwork I was sending due to it shipping Internationally (what she said) , I literally left there that day thinking she was acting that way towards me because I was Native , I realize now shes not a racist ,and im not even 100% sure she is even a a**hole , I think she is just "Off" personality wise , like she is just void of any personality the 2 young girls are amazing , especially the young bubbly girl with the piercings , shes the only reason I go back to that location , but they need to lock the office manager in the office and keep her away from the customers read more

I have used this facility on many occasions, most recently being for Amazon returns. On the first occasion, I was so clueless with the using the code to do a return, I couldn't even locate it! The wonderful lady behind the counter was so patient and kind, she asked to take my phone, showed me step by step how to find the purchase, return it and locate the code. My best trip, I had multiple returns and there was a line. Everyone in this store was friendly, kind and efficient. The line moved quickly, and each customer was treated with patience and respect. Again i needed a little extra help, and they were quick to come to my rescue! When all was said and done, all of my returns were taken care of, except the one in my car... which needed to go to the other guys drop off location. I didn't know where that was, but the guys at this store helped me out with that too! I can't say enough good things about the workers here, they're wonderful! read more

I was lied to by the store owner (Mary) of this location while trying to ship a next day air package. She claimed UPS would not ship a laptop with a battery next day air because of FAA regulations. She also claimed she couldn't provide me with damage insurance because she didn't pack my shipment at her store. I contacted UPS Customer Service and they confirmed both of these issues to be 100% false. I contacted Mary to discuss these issues. During our conversation, she was rude and combative. In fact, I had to ask several times for her to let me speak. I am appalled that a business owner would treat a customer this way. Her policies are not inline with UPS policies. In my opinion, she creates policies (which she is allowed to do as a store owner) simply to fleece her customers. That's her prerogative, but I feel potential customers should be aware of this. At least she had the decency to refund my transaction. I took my package to the Hagerstown UPS terminal and shipped it with it's battery, with insurance, and without issue, in my packaging for $40 cheaper. read more

I received great service from an employee that came out to assist me while there were a max of 2 people inside (due to COVID)and while it was raining hard outside. The employee was able to swiftly direct me and assist me with 2 packages I was returning without having to go inside. She ran in and out to get what she needed and took care of my packages without any issues. She then continued to assist the next customer waiting outside. I am an independent retailer and went to this UPS location to utilize their Printing Services. I brought in a professionally designed image for both my business cards and thank you cards. I do a lot of business and so I ordered 500 of each, still knowing in a couple months I would need to return for more. A young lady, Jenna (which i remember because we have the same name), assisted me at the counter when placing my order and we discussed that both the thank you cards and business cards would be printed on cardstock (I didn't ask for anything extravagant here, and made sure she understood I was perfectly ok with standard materials). My cards are in color on both sides. She walked me back to the computer behind the desk to retrieve the correct files off my flash drive. I specifically had her download the full bleed images as I wanted the FULL side of my cards printed. As in....NO BORDER. She understood. Price of this order was never discussed, but I have bought business cards before so I had an idea of price in mind, especially considering they were just plain cardstock. At this point she informed me that she could print the business cards that day (Wednesday) but that my thank you cards had to be printed by a store manager who would not return until Saturday. I told her I absolutely needed these cards by Saturday. She said this would not be an issue. She had also taken down my email to send me image proofs of my cards prior to printing (WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED). Thursday I returned to pick up my business cards. The clarity of the printing was nice, cardstock was standard, but there was a white border (about 2mm) around the card that I had specifically asked NOT be there when I asked for full bleed. She politely apologized and the owner (a woman) suggested either a reprint or to discount my order. Knowing I'd very quickly need new business cards, I agreed to a discount and told her there was no issue, I would return for more business cards soon enough and they'd have a chance to right the wrong. That day I also purchased 23 9"x11" sheets of cardstock printed in color. I paid 76$ for those sheets and the 10% discounted 500ct business cards. I awaited a phone call Saturday letting me know my Thank You cards were done but it never came and I was very preoccupied with a sale that day. Knowing they were closed Sundays, I waited till Monday to call about my order. I called in the morning and they told me my order was complete. Showed up to pick up my order at about 11:40am. approximately 6 people in line ahead of me. I waited about 10-15 minutes to get to the counter. Once I got up to the counter the sales associate retrieved my order just behind her and showed me a proof card. There was about a 1/2" white border around the entire card. (again when I placed the order I specifically asked for full bleed). I complained about this issue. She rang up the 500 cards......$160! I told her she MUST have input something wrong because that number was OUTRAGEOUS. She went to get the owner, a man, who printed my business cards and he tells me that his prices are competitive for the area and that it would cost more to print the full card without a border. Utterly shocked and upset that after waiting all this time to have my cards printed, I told the man that I could have easily had these printed for less than HALF on the internet. I had gone to UPS because I needed them quickly. He did offer to reprint the cards at the higher price, but never offered to discount the misprinted cards he had. So i refused the order. They looked TERRIBLE. There was no way I was going to send these poorly done cards to my clients. So, in conclusion.....The customer service here is sub-par. The printing services are INSANELY OVERPRICED and poorly done. I will never be returning. Just take your business to vistaprint. I literally paid 80 dollars for upgraded cardstock, gloss, full bleed cards and they even sent me a proof of each instantly. -A Disappointed Business Woman read more

I wish I had read these reviews prior to visiting the store location. In line with others, I received poor customer service. The lady behind the counter did not seem knowledgeable of shipping regulations and adamantly refused to serve me. While the other lady behind the counter was trying to help but was reluctant to anger what seemed like her manager or boss. I had brought in an item that is an irregular shape and needed a box. Unlike the commercials, she did offer up any help whatsoever. In fact, she told me she couldn't ship containers and pointed to a sign with hazardous items that cannot be shipped. She made the point of pointing out containers in the picture and I made the point of reading them aloud to her. I was not shipping poison gas or oxygen. The keg I was trying to ship back to Amazon is essentially a metal container. It was not pressurized and was empty. I even asked if I could read her poster's fine print and she refused to hand me the sign. I left very dissatisfied and promptly wrote UPS Corporate an email. read more

I have been so disappointed everytime I visit this location. They have their own rules about shipping and they are not the UPS Corporate rule. I tried to return a long gun for a factory recall to the factory repair center and they would not accept it, saying I must take it to Hagerstown. OK they dont want to handle firearms, but today I tried to return a Scope for repair and they refused that saying their policy is to not accept ANYTHING that could be attached to any gun. No sling, no sights, no scope rings, nothing. If you have any feeling for the second amendment please boycott this place. read more

I stop in a few times a week to mail large, obnoxious, sometimes annoyingly packaged items that I sell through amazon and etsy. The staff are always super nice, even when the place is slammed they handle things very well. My packages always go out that day, don't think I've ever had a single issue with this place. Office Depot had a habit of accepting my packages and then letting them sit for days before actually shipping them out. Apparently it all depended on when the truck came and how much room he had on board. The UPS store has never done this and my stuff always arrives on time or ahead of schedule. The notary service is a joke! All I needed was forms notarized confirming my signature for settlement on my house and she said she doesn't do closing documents. I tried to explain that they are not mortgage or home buying documents, but she wouldn't listen. I placed an order with Macy's on 03/24/2016 (value $ 155.00 + tax) and on 03/26/2016 I received a notice from this UPS (Martinsburg D2C Lawnside) that the package has been delivered on 06/18/2015 ?! with Local Postal Office. I didn't know who is this Martinsburg D2C Lawnside? Because I didn't order anything to them and last year, in June, I have been overseas and I didn't order something with Macys. :))) Knowing that I expect my order to be delivered by Macy's, after March 24, 2016 - I checked my account with Macy's and there I found the same information at "tracking" - delivered last year! On Macys customer service phone only a machine, repeating the same story, like a chatterbox). I had a lot of trouble finding a phone # to talk with a customer representative or someone else and to ask about "this joke" because I couldn't imagine someone could make this kind of error. I hope to be a happy end ...because I spoke with someone and I received an e-mail telling : "they replaced the damaged package"?! and will be shipped to me again. Why damaged? I don't know, because the package has disappeared on the road to me!! Even if the package had been damaged it is not possible to convey to me that was delivered last year.
