This is one of the closest UPS store where I live. The next one is a far drive and in somewhat questionable areas. I have been to this store too many times. The parking can get a bit just but I don't mind walking from far. All my Amazon return requests and UPS packages dropped off from here were delivered without issues. Dear owner of this Montebello UPS. I saw so many negative reviews for your store. Are you tired of defending your staff and store? I've been going to this UPS location since 2007. I don't know when things changed here. I see more staff now. The staff seems unhappy. I was charged $1 just to help me secure my box tape. Some of your staff helped and offered help when a package is large. It's nice of them. Depending on the time and the day. Your store is too packed. It used to be a spaces place. I used to pay for computer use and self printing. I'm giving 4 stars for what's this UPS location used to be. Maybe you can work on supporting your staff morale. This is my go-to place to drop off pre-paid UPS shipments (e.g, Amazon Prime returns). The service here is quick and if there is a long line it moves very quickly. Moreover, there are two computer terminals and printer for rent in case you need to print documents. The overall service is excellent. PROS: There is a very low flat fee for using the computer and an equally low per copy print charge. I frequently rent textbooks online from Amazon and sometimes have to print the packaging slip at the last minute. It's a great convenience to have the computer and printer on site for immediate use. Plus, you get a receipt (at your request) with a tracking number when you drop off a pre-paid package. Hours of operation include Saturdays and evenings. CONS: Limited parking since this location is in a strip mall. Often times you have to park by the 7-Eleven and walk over to the UPS Store. Overall, I would recommend this UPS Store for your shipping needs. I've never had a problem. read more

I returned 2 Samsung watches, back to T-mobile, both in 1 pkg. The girl that helped me was on her cell phone, checking Instagram or FB. She was not interested in helping me, until the guy in the back told her to help me. She asked what did I need, told her I was returning the box, and I had a label. She scanned it, threw the package on a shelf, and pulled her phone out again. I asked for a receipt. She typed something up, handed it to me, then pulled her phone out again. I walked out and immediately called T-mobile, to give them the tracking number. Not only did 1 of the watches arrive with a crack on the screen, it took this store, 1 week to ship out the pkg. I don't know where the package went, after getting thrown on the shelf, but I do know I was charged a restocking fee, because of the carelessness of these employees.. So far the rudest, inconsiderate ups center I ever been too. I'm going to opt out from getting my packages sent here. My wife comes in for me because I'm sick with breathing issues and shows my ID with my tracking number and shows her ID and they say they will not hand her the package. It's been done many times before because she does this for me routinely and now this little rude ass check sends her off and now I'm in line sick with the flu and show no consideration after I told her about my wife coming in. UPS will deliver to my home with showing any for of ID bit here an ID is not good enough. Support business that truly care about their customers and speak to them correctly. All I read was you making excuses as to why your service is lacking - as if this was the customer's fault. This place deserves no stars. I just had the worst experience at your UPS 2778 store. I went in to get a document notarized and the "owner" would not assist me because my child who is less than 2 years of age was not wearing mask. In our county children under the age of 2 are not required to wear a mask. He argued with me that they had to, he said he followed the news. Which clearly he doesn't follow, because it is stated on the la county website who is and who is not required to wear a mask. He offered to give me a mask for my child who is not 2 years old. I told him he could give it to me but she would not wear it. He proceeded to get a mask without even sanitizing his hands. So he expected me to put a mask on my child with his dirty hands when I had just seen him put his own mask from coming from the back. If he was so concerned about Covid why was he not wearing his mask prior to walking to the counter to meet with me. If he was so concerned about Covid why was he not taking other measures do customers walking into the store. Your "owner" needs to be talked to because what he did was not okay. He rejected me service without having a valid purpose. He was rude and disrespectful. They toss delivery's around like it's trash. And I waited in line for almost 30 minutes. In a room full of clients with the doors closed. I demanded to get open the doors with these people congregating inside. The girls here are not accountable for the safety of the public or the items we work so hard to purchase. I get the system is in crises but this is beyond unsafe because of one person. Mike Rosa and the little girl behind the register who copped an attitude for asking questions. I don't care about your crises and lack of employment. If they don't follow safety procedures in line with the CDC recommendation. The signs mean nothing of these kids are to scared to enforce them. And a manager hiding in the back refusing to talk to costumers concerns on safety. I hold UPS accountable and have filed formal complaints. You seem to miss the point of all this. Went to the ups store to get a live scan done. On the oag.ca.gov shows as location to get this done. Was told at the store that they do not provided that service. I informed them why are they listed as a location and they said they didn't know and have supposedly try to get that removed off the internet. I think it's inconvenient of them not trying to get this removed and it's giving false advertising to customers. Also the girl at the register was rude. Wasn't friendly, rang me up for my copies and told her thank you and she didn't say anything just very rude. I use to like this store they use to have great customer service. read more

They just lost a package worth over $2,200 dollars that I had pictures and proof. I was given a check for $220 dollars and told that there's no proof and that I should have bought insurance. Was not made aware of insurance or the fact that you're out of luck for losing your package. There's no trace of what happened to it. There has to be a better way. Customer service is friendly and efficient and also with the upgrade to the cart service for them heavy boxes gotta give a +++ to that. Will definitely come back here for services good turnaround.
