The lady that works here is so nice and knowledgeable, when I wanted to send something to Taiwan she gave me the inside scoop that because of the pandemic everything is harder and more expensive to send to there, that it will be at least $100 to send a simple book, and gave me another place that I can send for much cheaper. I didn't end up going there because that place was another half an hour away plus I knew someone that could personally take it there for me but still! It's a good feeling to meet good people, giving good info, without strings attached (aka like in LA where the request for the referral is longer-winded and a bit tiring to listen to, putting themselves in a good light, that they are there for the community, blah blah, and all this talk took much longer than for them to do the actual favor. I mean, if one does it simply, without talking so much to make sure the favor is returned, won't people remember you better? It worked here with me lol!) If you're in need of a mailbox rental in the 626, this is the place to go! The new owner is super nice and accommodating. I work in Beverly Hills and often can't make it back in the 626 area by the time they close at 6PM but the owner would stay after closing (sometimes until 7PM) until I get there so I can pick up my packages. She also sends a text when there's a package which I personally prefer over a phone call. With the change in ownership, they also upgraded their security system and installed lighting for when you want to access your mailbox after hours. Everything has approved since these new owners took over valley postal and I love this place! The new owners are very nice, they accept credit cards, and they remodeled the entire building. This is the lowest mailbox rental I have found in the entire San Gabriel valley area. The reason why it gets 4 stars is because the lady only speaks Chinese so it's hard to understand what she is saying and her credit card machine broke so she only demands check or cash only. You can also get your mail anytime because there is a security code box that opens the door. She holds packages for only 2 days, afterward there is a charge. Still, the price is so low, and it's not like we go to mailbox everyday anyway, I chose this place or others. read more

I went here twice and both times, they went out of their way to help me - first time, I needed some boxes, she gave me free boxes from the back. Second time, I needed to mail something. Low prices, short term and long term plans available, friendly service. They send you a text when a package arrives for you. For extra convenience, you're able to access your po box after hours by typing in your code & they have surveillance cameras. Highly recommend! First and foremost, it is the cheapest mailbox place i could find in the San Gabriel valley. They don't charge ridiculous set-up fees; I got a 6 month mailbox for something like $50! (This is about a 40% of what places in Pasadena/Highland Park charge.) They also have lots of mailboxes to choose from and will call you when you get a package. HOWEVER: they don't speak very good English; they forgot to send me a reminder that my box was due for renewal (and then removed my mail from my box: EUUUGH!!); and i also had a package from Canada undelivered, at substantial inconvenience; also they charge a FEE if you don't pick up large packages within a few days (ie not good for travelling customers). This place is not very well organized. They have never given me a receipt. It is probably not the best place to receive regular packages. But there is a FANTASTIC Vietnamese sandwich bar next door for snacks whilst picking up mail. read more

I decided to rent a box since my apartment management has not given me a gate code yet and my name does appear in the call box directory. Cause of this I missed two Amazon prime deliveries since the private couriers could not access the building and I was not home to open the door. UPS, FedEx, USPS were all fine cause they were issued gate codes. I did not need an actual box, only someone to sign for packages so I opted out of receiving a key which saved me a $10 deposit. I checked in and was given a month free, so $24 for 4 months and they take credit cards. Sign-up was quick, the owner was nice, and they said they would text me when a packages arrived.
