Arrived for passport photo appointment what was booked online on the UPS site. Told that this location doesn't offer photo services. Yet when I got back home the UPS site still showed openings available! Not good. If UPS doesn't offer a service then fine, but don't say that you do. It's not the first time I experienced UPS corporate not keeping their individual store services up to date. I had a problem at another UPS store that stated notary services were available and I called the store to confirm. When I got there "We don't offer that here." But I called to confirm? Came here on a Saturday when they were supposedly open and found the guy locking up early. This used to be a really reliable location until they started to employ young men who are extremely interested in the physical appearance of their clientele and in general, acting in an extremely unprofessional manner. If I were the owner of this location I'd be rehiring as soon as I could financially afford to do so. read more

Filed a claim with UPS for an expensive item shipped from this store that arrived damaged. UPS told me to contact this store Manager to arrange a 3-way call between myself, Gus (Manager), and UPS to discuss the claim results. Gus absolutely refused to do this. He also refused to tell me if my claim was approved and for what amount, telling me to "wait for the email.". Guess what, Gus? NEVER got any email. I was finally able to get some info from the shipper. TERRIBLE service and very disrespectful attitude. I called UPS and lodged a complaint. Please UPS STORE quit lying on your customers or customers who have attempted to give you business. I have never returned to this location after that experience because the service was so terrible and the other reviews continue to speak for themselves regarding your business. I downloaded Yelp JUST to write this review. I went to this location because it's closest to my building. I read the reviews before I came in, but didn't think it was going o be this horrible. The woman who "helped" me was very rude. She held the lock on the window, and when I looked at her, she said to me "at the post office, you wait for someone to call you to the window", but I only walked over to her because she looked up at me in line and smiled, which I assumed was an invitation to the window... she then proceeded to have an attitude all throughout the process. After I dropped my package with her, I got in the other line to pick up a package, and I witnessed other customers after me having a hard time with her, as well. I've never experienced such bad service in NY, and that says a lot. read more

Dropped off an Amazon return here (prepaid label), they put a strip of tape on the box and told me I owe them $2 for the tape. Could have told me this before taping as I had tape on me and could have saved $2 for a 6" strip of tape. The nickel and dining doesn't sit well. read more

I sent a package that was time sensitive to a NYC address on 8/8/17. The package was not picked up from the store until 8/14/17 and was not delivered until 8/15/17. I called UPS corporate and they told me to speak to the store about the matter. I did and initially nothing could be done as the package had been delivered but the owner called when he was informed of the problem and offered a sincere apology and explanation regarding where the package had gone. UPS stores are franchises and the package had been stalled at the UPS hub. The owner said that if a package is not delivered by the promised time to call immediately so they can track down the package and have it expedited. He also refunded my money. He was very nice, as were the workers and I've updated my review because the problem was handled professionally. read more

Although the wait is long because it's a small location ( prepare to wait in line specially now during the pandemic ) my experience was pleasant because of Gus. I am not sure if he is the manager, but if he is not he should be one. He was Proffesional and respectful and so helpful, I was having trouble with a label for my giant box and he was so helpful, never rushed, and knew exactly how to solve my tech problem. After having a terrible experience at the post office across the street, I came to this ups location. After waiting in line for an hour, the post office wouldn't ship my package unless I bought their boxes because my packaging wasn't "correct" and the lady at the counter was very rude, unhelpful, and told me I was wasting her time. In comparison, the guys at this ups location had no problem with my packaging, there was no line, and they were very friendly! This place is ridiculous. Posted opening hours are 8:30 a.m. but whoever is responsible for opening the store is HABITUALLY late. COUNTLESS times we have gone there at 8:35-8:45 on our way to work and the whole place is still gated up and locked--including this morning, when we just gave up and took our bulky package on the subway to take it to a different location instead. We have called UPS repeatedly over the last 2 years to complain that it was still closed 10 and 15 minutes later than posted opening hours and no one seems to do anything about it. Awful. Attempted to ship 6 packages. The quote was nearly double the UPS.com quote. Small box (1.5 lbs) shipped ground to CA was quoted more than $28. United States Postal Service is approximately $8. Obviously this franchise takes UPS prices and doubles them. I will never use UPS again. read more

I go here about every week to drop off some packages and the guys there are pretty cool guys, They always greet me when I walk in and one of the guys there who I think his name is josh there does everything up in the computer really fast which means it takes me literally about less than a minute to walk in the store, drop my package and be on my way.
