After a few loops through the area, I eventually found a parking spot along N Kenilworth Ave right outside of the entrance. During my loops, I was astonished to see the beauty of downtown Oak Park which I have never seen before. I will have to visit the area one of these days to go food hopping, or maybe even pick out a run route that would take me through it on foot. Now as for parking, it is 1-hour parking, 9 AM - 5 PM Monday - Saturday. Many of the visitors I see try to secure those parking spots along N Kenilworth Ave because you will have to pay if you choose to park along Lake St, which is pay by the plate. An adorable, classy looking building is this post office not only on the outside, but inside as well. I must say that this post office was my life saver due to its closing time on the weekend which will surely result in future visits for me. During my visit, there was absolutely no line of customers inside which resulted in an in-and-out visit (no pun intended), tehehe. As someone who visits post office locations regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the clerk presented a friendly vibe during our brief encounter at the counter. I was on my way in minutes after she weighed and scanned my package, as well as presented me with mailing stamps for my postcards. I am terrible at doing the surveys on the receipts pertaining to my visits at post offices, but rest assured I always share a review based on my experiences. Expect to feel like you're pestering them while they are assisting you. Oh..and expect the self-service kiosk to be non-functioning. It is great to see these social distancing practices especially moving the lines outside! Once we got inside we were nicely greeted and they had many representatives available for help. I provided the three high quality blank t-shirts of different colors U planted the photos placed on ( dumb move #2). And over 2 years while occasionally going inside the store and petting the dog I heard each sad sob story of how my shirts would be found or my money would be refunded and because feel like a native Oak Parker I did not write a negative review or call the cops. I see the place is currently closed. It should stay that way. Before they were there it was called Frameworks and I had great experiences and products from them. I do NOT recommend doing business with Personalization House due to this company's unreliable and…read moreunprofessional nature. This company agreed and promised to donate shirts for a charity event that I volunteered for earlier this Month. Personalization House agreed via email to donate 50-75 shirts 84 days ahead of the event. Before the written agreement, the donation request included the number of shirts. Personalization House's confirmation to provide this donation failed to mention any issues with material costs. Therefore, we were unaware that we were responsible for calculating material costs on this supplier's behalf nor that it would be a problem. When the event representation arrived for pickup, the shirts were not ready. The owner proceeded to blame the missing shirts on the material costs and failed to take accountability for the company's written agreement. In addition to the owner's lack of accountability and communication, he met our event representation with hostility, as if she was responsible for the company's shortcomings. He stated our event representative had an "aggressive nature," which is an utterly unprofessional way to approach anyone you agree to do business with (whether it is a donation or not). As hinted at in previous reviews, aside from this specific shortcoming, Personalization House is unreliable and irresponsible.
