I contacted them in regards to picking up an expensive fragile item, packaging the item & then shipping the item internationally to me. Their replies were fast, communication was great & were very helpful in ensuring i understood the procedure. They gave two quotes/shipping options to choose from, i choose which quote, i made the payment, item was picked up in quick time, they communicated with me in regards to if i had any special packaging request which i did, the item was packaged extremely well, the box was perfectly made up for the right size of the item, extremely well bubbled wrapped for a fragile/tricky item to wrap, fragile stickers tapped around the package & shipped out in quick time, i then received email confirmation with a tracking #. Item arrived undamaged around 6 days later, all my special packaging requests i asked to be done had been done. Very happy with their customer service & caring when it came to packaging the item. First time having an item picked up, packaged & shipped & they made it a breeze, communicated with me the whole time, even after i had confirmed the item had arrived they replied with a nice thank you email. Communication is key & they couldn't have done a better job. Will definitely use this ups store again! read more

I called this shop yesterday to ask if they have notary services. This morning the woman in the shop told me that she was the notary and she couldn't notarized our at home closing documents. I told I called yesterday and that I wasn't informed of a notary not being able to witness signature signing. She had an unbelievably officious attitude. We walked across the street and came out of Chase Bank 5 minutes later with our notarized paper. Needless to say the papers won't be shipped via this UPS store. One would expect a little friendlier customer service from a small business in this economy (or big business)! read more

Went to this store to mail a package - spent $25.00 for a small shoe box size package ($16 to ship - the rest for the box and packing). The cashier (Donald) was pleasant and efficient. Left the store to find parking for lunch next door. Able to find a 3 hour parking meter across the street but needed quarters. I returned to the UPS store and they would only give me 4 quarters not the 8 that I requested. A tall, thin, caucasian women responded with a nasty tone that if they gave me quarters they would have to stand in the line at the bank. I understand that they probably get a lot of requests for change but #1 - it would be a nice gesture if they planned ahead and got rolls of quarters so they could offer change as a goodwill gesture/good advertising and #2 - I had just spent $25.00 as a customer - seems like that should be an exception! More than anything it was her tone and demeanor that was objectionable - not great customer service in my opinion! read more

Find another UPS store, if you can - they are independently owned. Service is slow; but pricing is shocking. Over $30 to buy a cardboard box and have a space heater packed - using a free shipping label? Over $20 to buy a box to return a down comforter using a free shipping label? My only mistake was going there twice. Not up to usual UPS standards. read more

If you're going, remember to bring one of those cartoon sacks full of money cause there is no way you're getting out of there without spending WAY too much to ship a simple package. save yourself the money and hassle and go to the Post Office. Rude, nasty attitudes when I tried to clarify what was told to me. I was the only customer there. Employee stated that if I pay for UPS packing and shipping then the total price of product and shipping is guaranteed and there is standard insurance for up to $100.00 So I paid $6.36 for this service. He proceeded to ask about paying additional for insurance. When I questioned about why I needed that his reply was "to cover if it's not packed or shipped properly it will cover the full amount." I thought that was purpose of UPS pack and ship. I declined and he became upset stating "honey I don't make any extra selling this to you Im trying to help yoi out cause they maybnot reimburse you." Took my item, a cell phone, placed it ina basket with the receipt and left it on the counter. When I aksed about him leaving it on the counter, he replied "we'll pack it in the back later. It doesn't go out till Monday anyway." I insisted they packed it immediately. Not only was he very rude but the lady who packed it was rude afterward as well. Needless to say that will be the last time I use this location. They are not trustworthy after this. Have had great service at other busier locations. read more

I had some presents to ship to relatives during the holidays. I walked into the UPS in Oak Park and it was crowded to say the least (to be expected during that time of year). There was barely standing room when I arrived. However, the two young men at the counter got through the crowd so fast it took me maybe 15 mins max to get in and out. You could clearly tell they were exhausted and yet were cheerful and helpful the whole time I was there. read more

We've used this UPS Store for my company for around 3 years. They're seriously friendly and helpful. We have a box there and have used them for printing documents and advertising mailers. We've also used their notary service, which is awesome because they're hard to find. Good stuff all around! read more

I just found out through another local Oak Park business owner that this UPS Store is for sale. THANK GOODNESS!!! who ever ownes this franchise is noticing what it's customers have been noticing for a while. The staff has recently begun to turn over rapidly, I no longer see some of the familiar faces I used to. The employees who have stayed on are over worked and look unhappy. Clearly the ever frantic,frenzied and panic stricken manager CJ is having a negative effect on her staff and business.Employees texting,loud inappropriate conversations going on in the background,rude management.No one ever seemed fully trained, the over all attitude is lackluster and negative. Hopefully a new owner will come in soon and turn this business around. Or at least hire a new less crazy manager. The current owner is smart to cut losses and run. read more

I called to ask if copies of my resume could be made within 45 minutes. Yes, they could - perfect, enough time to pick up my resume and head to my interview. Before hanging up the phone, I sent an E Mail with my attachment to begin the process. When I walked in and asked for the resumes, it was no where to be found. The clerk walked from computer to printer back to computer and back to the printer. Finally, the copies were made and I was told the person who i spoke with on the phone went on his break before my E Mail arrived. I was given the copies for free. That was kind, however, my expectation was i would have a quick transaction. read more

ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, RUDE. Dropped off a pre-labeled USPS package there the other day. Why drop off a USPS package at a UPS Store you ask? I purchased a $15 cardboard box to ship the items in from them. The clerk assured me it would be picked up the next day. Well, a couple days later I noticed that it had not been picked up, there was no pick up scan. Now, I understand that the postal carrier may not of scanned it initially, but when I called the, the lady that answered the phone was rude and basically told me they have no idea what happened to my package and that it must have been picked up. I asked her how she knew it was picked up... Her reply "because it was". Well.. How do customers know that the transfer occurred? Don't trust this place with your packages! read more

I was a customer in the store at the same time this loud, rude women was there. The employee should be commended for having to deal with miserable unhappy people like this woman. I was conducting business with the very same employee and was witness to the whole event. The unpleasant customer entered the store and stated she called the day before for a notary. The employee greeted her and identified herself as the stores notary. The employee then POLITELY excused herself from our conversation and asked about the documents to be notarized. She stated that she could not offer notary services for the type of documents this woman had and began to offer an explanation as to why. It was then that the customer, not the employee became loud and rude. The customer wouldn't even let the employee speak, she cut the employee off and went to the bank across the street for her notarization. The employee offered an apology as the women left. The women then came back and stood in front of The Ups Store window and gave the "thumbs up " sign to the employee, like the employee should even care. We can only assume the for the next 15 minutes as she sat in her car in front of the store she was posting her nasty remarks. Myself and the other customers offered our apologies to the employee and we all had a good laugh at this women's expense. Business big or small don't need customers like this in their establishments. read more
