They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff and owner. They are highly professional. We have never had a bad encounter with any of the employees. We have witnessed them remain courteous and professional with temperamental customers. They know us well and usually have our packages ready by the time we walk in the door. We have maintained a PO box there for a number of years now. Every package is handled with care. We also have them ship our mail and packages to us when we are traveling and that has worked out perfectly. I have used the services of UPS store # 0980 twice - once to return an item, and once to ship an item. Both times they were professional, helpful, friendly and extremely patient. When I sent the item, I messed up on providing the address twice, and they had to reprint it both times, which they did with friendly smiles and friendly comments. When I apologized, their response was "no problems, that's our job - to make sure that it gets sent to the right place". I highly recommend their services. read more

Recently, I stopped by to drop off a package and was treated rudely by an employee that I see here on a regular basis. Stopped in here at 9am to drop off my Uverse box. There were already 4 people in line but the 2 women there greeted and instructed everyone what they needed to do as they came in. Woman (who I am pretty sure was the manager) took the time to make sure everyone was pleased and made sure everyone was taken care of and even advised customers of all their other services offered. BY FAR the worst UPS store I've ever visited. I've been here twice and each time everything was made so much more difficult than necessary. Not to mention how messy this place is and the HORRIBLE attitude of the the staff. The only reason why I actually stepped foot in here again is because it's literally 3 minutes from my house. However, this last time I walked out laughing when the man behind the counter told me he had to charge me $1 per package to use tape because it was a prepaid shipping label. OH, OK. I went to my usual UPS store on Milwaukee, in Wicker to which I was told "they charge $1 for tape, for each one?! That's ridiculous." Don't go here. Keep driving. Go to the next one. This store is so great. I had shipped something out and misplaced my receipt with my tracking info. Three weeks after I was in the store I emailed them asking if they could possibly still find my receipt in their system. Within 24 hours they found my receipt, scanned a copy and emailed me back. They also called me to tell me they emailed me a copy. Excellent service!!! read more

I had really bad experience with this store! Package was not delivered once so I knew it will be like that next time so I decided to pick it up! I called to make sure my package is there and I was told it was! I went there the next day and the place was closed! They moved to a different location and wouldn't be open till next day! Nobody bothered to let me know they will be closed for a day! When I went there again the next day my package was open, sides of the box pushed inside and box looked like it was kicked and tossed around! They didn't even bothered with sealing it with some tape, handed me opened damaged box and said here it is! you could see what's inside! It's not the way you do business! read more

I had an overnight package that I needed to get out by 10:30 am today. Right at 10 I pulled up to the store. The door is locked, there are 2 employees inside and there is a handwritten note on the door that says something like "system is down so we are closed." Why would you need to lock the door and why would you not make yourself available to answer questions? I couldn't even drop my overnight letter off and, consequently, missed the deadline. I'm sure this was not handled as per policy. read more

Very poor experience today. I need to ship a small children's chair to California. A personal family item, to be sent to my niece. I stopped by UPS a few weeks ago with the chair, and the young UPS associate weighed the chair, and started calculating packing (fragile/specialty item) and shipping charges. The manager came over to help her work through it. It worked out to be about $200 for everything. Shockingly high to me, I must admit. So I told them I would shop around and come back. Checked in with some moving companies that take single items/small shipments cross country, but couldn't find a price for less then $300 and it might take 1-2 months. So I went back to UPS today to ship. The same young woman and manager were there. Now they tell me it will be more then $300?!?!? The young woman actually looked a little nervous before she told me the number.... as she clearly remembered this was no where near the previous quote. Manager just stared blankly. Couldn't care less. No explanation. No offer to honor their prior price, now that I had returned to ship it based on that. In fact, they acted like.... "Well, what did we tell you.... do you have it written down?" Actually, I do and I will bring it back. But the manager made it clear he is not interested in honoring their quote. He actually refused to give me his name so I could write a letter of complaint (although his co-worker quietly gave it to me when I walked away...). Just a very odd, poorly managed situation with very poor customer service. read more

I have had a mailbox here for close to 20 years. I have found the staff to always be friendly, professional and courteous throughout this time. The staff has been extremely helpful and has gone out of their way to bring me my mail and packages directly out to my car during the pandemic. This store has been a real godsend. The employees , to a person, are helpful courteous and knowledgable. We travel between 6 months and 8 months a year and we have all of our mail and packages sent to our box at this store. They hold our mail and packages until we call and then send them to us. We also buy a lot of stuff online and have it all shipped here where nothing gets stolen and nothing goes missing. They have relieved a lot of our stress and we love each and every employee and how much they go above and beyond in customer service. I would highly recommend them. read more

Every time I visit this store the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will admit, I mainly use the services for Amazon returns drop off, but I appreciate the store being so close, clean and professional. Much better location and parking than former location. SHIPPERS BEWARE! This is the biggest rip off place around. I went in there the other day to mail a box with prepaid postage. They could not rip me off for that one. Then I had a box that I needed to mail. It weighed over 4 lbs and I asked it to be shipped USPS. They have the US Mail eagle emblem in the window and I thought I could get the same rates as the Post Office. They said because it weighed over 4 lbs it would cost $37.00! I asked if this was the cheapest rate for the USPS. They confirmed it was the only rate available. Then they said I could spend $22.00 if I sent it UPS. Oh DEAR!!! Needless to say as a savvy shipper I went to the Post Office where low and behold I paid $11.00 to ship my box. There was no rule about being over 4 lbs. I loved the postal carrier's comment, "They don't know what they're doing and what our rates are." Crazy rip off place. Please do not give these thieves your business. read more

Service was not good at all and employee had a chip on her shoulder. Came to send back a box to Amazon, with a prepaid label. Lady behind the counter was not friendly and complained about the packaging and then stated she would have to charge me $2.00 to tape the box or have me buy some tape for 3 dollars and some change and I could tape it myself. I did't have change since I had a prepaid label. I've never paid for UPS or Fed-ex to tape a box, ever!
