Every time I go in there's always someone already being helped but someone in the back pops out of nowhere and motions me over. I usually do returns and it's always quick and painless! Items I ship via UPS are typically eBay sales and all shipping and payment functions are handled through that site. When I drop off the package at this UPS Store I have little interaction with the employees but they're always welcoming . Today, I had a non-eBay shipment. With an online promotion UPS offered a savings of $10 over USPS Priority or package mail. The delivery time was the same as USPS Priority's anticipated schedule. May 27th, I walked in at 8:30 and asked for the Notary. The lady fed me every excuse why they were not there, but they would arrive before 9:00 and they were on their way. I needed a power of attorney notarized quickly. I asked the lady to call the person to see how soon they would arrive. She told me she was the only person in the store and she was too busy to make the call. When I asked, I was the only person in the store. I have used this location several times in the past and had adequate service. What used to be the gold standard for parcel delivery has become a joke. Only one attempt at a delivery, and then I have to go to the local store to retrieve my package. They sent an email the day before stating a signature would be needed. It would have been nice to have enough time to make adjustments to my schedule. I went to the store indicated to retrieve my package that clearly says open at 8:30 am. Locked with no explanation why, or when it will be open. I tried several more times and it was finally available late in the third day. They did tell me the store is an independent entity and the company drivers drop the undelivered packages there. Maybe the fault lies with the company not the store. Too bad you have let your customer experience slide. I would think about using another parcel delivery service in the future. read more

So first off they gave me the run around on shipping an airsoft toy gun. It is not a firearm period. It has an orange tip required by law for shipping. Then they told me I'd have to go to another store 30 minutes away to possibly ship it there. Your policies are ridiculous considering at one point you guys delivered these same exact items. Every ups store I go to they have some different policy or rule and the employees seem poorly trained as they have to make phone calls to even know their own policies as well. There is nothing illegal about shipping an airsoft gun. I will never do business with ups again. read more

Update after reading the long-delayed response from the business: That doesn't make any sense. If you'd wanted to limit the number of people in the store by cutting back services, you would've put a sign outside the store saying which services you weren't offering so that I wouldn't have entered in the first place. Instead, I went in and breathed the same air as your other customers for half an hour, only to be told at the counter that you don't offer notary service after 3pm. You can't just say "but COVID!" and think that lets you off the hook for dumb policies and rude service. It's a bad look. read more

I was directed to this store by a slip left on the door from a driver. When I went to the store "Raj" informed me that he could not help me and I needed to go somewhere else. I showed him the slip with his address on it and than he called some other UPS number and yelled at that person to stop telling people to come to his store and than again told me that he could not/would not help me. I than got a little frustrated and told him that I was a UPS customer and I really did not care who helped but someone would help me---he reluctantly dialed a 1-800 customer service number from his work phone and flipped the phone at me telling me "you can talk to the same people I talk to" and walked away. I was than placed on hold for awhile when Raj re-appreared demanding his phone back and telling me that if I stayed on the line he would call the police on me for using his business line! Than he ended it with telling me "you should have gone to FedEx" I agreed shook my head and left and am now cancelling a large order because of the lack of customer service and overall rudeness of the manager. I will also be contacting the UPS and Amazon corporate offices. Looking at other customer complaints this is commonplace at this store and his own employees admitted that the customer service was brutal there..... read more

These folks are OUTSTANDING!! I spoke with McKenna about picking up some equipment for us at the OFallon Police Department, bringing back to their store and packaging it up for us. Not only were they able to do it, but they did it on an appointment time of 11 am and had it packed and out the door by the end of the day. On top of all that, the pricing was more than fair! They charge a little bit more than the post office, and the main UPS hub, but it is way more convenient to stop here and be greeted by a smiling face rather than the stereotypical personalities that exist elsewhere...i guess it wouldn't be a stereotype if it's true... The ups store is quick, friendly, and remembers their regular clients well. They provide p.o. boxes (but the catch is that they are not p.o. boxes, you get a physical address and they are called suites). In other words, you can have ups, fedex, usps, and whatever other carrier there is deliver packages for you, with somebody there to sign it for you! Unlike actual p.o. boxes. They have state of the art packaging materials, and boxes to safely ship any valuable you have....like a laptop box....also of course they weigh and create shipping labels to ship it there as well. It is a perfect place to drop off a package, send mail, certified mail, notary publics, faxes, printing for both HD color and classic b&w. Bring in your flash drive obtain docs, and pics from their systems...They got you....the UPS Store got yo back. I'm a fan. read more

Ripoff. Ripoff. Ripoff. Bought a roll of USPS stamps. 100 stamps in a roll. Stamps are $.50/ stamp so one roll would be $50. UPS charges $58 for a roll. Connivence fee. That is a 116% markup. Fucking ripoff. Really?? 116% markup?? Really? $8.00 convenience fee???? Really?? I understand this is a franchise establishment but this is highway robbery. Never again. NEVER. I highly recommend using this business for printing and mailing needs. I went in today, and not only did they print and fold the copies I needed, but they also help me stuff them into the envelopes! One of the young reps at the counter here (don't want to mention names) who works in the evening hours, has no clue what he is doing. For most of the services he ends up calling his manager on phone and still struggles. Thanks to him, I was unable to send an international parcel as he didn't know how to process it, and later I went to the US Postal Office and got it couriered at half the price. read more
