I never do this, but I just had a bad experience ~ I brought in a package and he quoted me $67 for a Friday delivery. I asked if there was a more economical way, and he offered no help or answers. I went next door to Staples and Gillian at the UPS counter could not have been more helpful. She gave me a suggestion, let me use some of her bubble wrap as well as packing tape, and the total was $27 to get there the same day that the other person quoted me. As I went in there was a young lady and a young gentleman standing around not doing much of anything and when I arrived I had stated I had a rather large and heavy item that could use assistance and the young lady said well there's a dolly that you can use and offered no help. All meanwhile the young man sat there on his cell phone and I received no assistance at all. Finally the young lady decided to come out and all she did was hold the door. I work in customer service and to offer help is the right way to go to sit there on your cell phone shows that you're lazy and unwilling to go the extra mile to help a customer. Every time I use the UPS store they are quick, efficient and helpful!!! I literally had a hugh heavy box in my trunk and I pulled up, went in and asked one of the guys if he could lift it out and bring it in. He did without question. During Covid, I relied on them alot to get mail back and forth to my office. I'm very glad they are close enough for me to not have it be an inconvenience. read more

Terrible customer service. They did not know how-to third-party charge shipping and insinuated that I was trying to scam the company I was trying to charge. They had so little clue to something that is on there own website. They then laughed at me. Never had worst customer service than here. They were also listed as a notary site and do not have that service. I would avoid this store if you have anything beyond a simple drop off. read more

I had a very bad experience with this UPS store. I had to overnight the deed to my house for a closing the next day. I paid $30 for the package to be delivered by 10:00 a.m. the next day in the Boston area. Well, the package never made it. When I contacted the store, the owner told me "with Covid we can't guarantee the delievery". Well, that should have been told to me before I paid the extra money for what I thought was a "Guaranteed" delivery. Long story short, I was told my money would not be refunded. Had they told me when I sent my package that they couldn't guarantee my delivery, I would NOT have sent it. Very poor communication! read more

Top class customer service! Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Last Christmas I was last minute shipping to California. Every place I went to wanted to charge me more than the gifts cost but ups did not jack up their prices. I do all my shipments from this location now. I fax from here too and never had a problem. This UPS store has above and beyond customer service!!! I sent a package from there using a prepaid label when two months later was billed $1800 from Verizon saying I never returned equipment. The owner spent 25 minutes helping me prove that I did return saving me the money!! Thank you, thank you ! Amazing! read more

Warning avoid shipping anything you value at this location. Going on golf vacation so shipped clubs to California - they lost them. Think about that a box probably 4 feet high and 2 feet around and it disappears into thin air. Went into store to inquire why after one week they had not arrived and UPS tracking only notes the packaging of clubs in Pembroke store. Stated they would start a search and notify me within 8 days. Two weeks later no word and go back to store and told they will now investigate. One month after shipping UPS tracking still only notes clubs packed in Pembroke store. To make matters worse they tell me lost items are only reimbursed at $100 because I did not insure them at higher value - which was not explained or offered when I shipped. The cherry on top am now told I must deal with UPS corporate to file a claim it is not the stores responsibility. Just what is the store responsible for - they took my clubs under the pretense they were going to ship them and they definitely charged my debit card. The only thing they accomplished was losing the clubs. read more
