On the day of my execution of the purchase I met Steve who also was educating. I was also transferring data from my old machine at Staples as well as the installation of various programs. This takes a day to do. When I arrived to claim my new machine, Steve took me through all aspects of its operation and spent the time linking my printer and installing new printer ink among various other details and connections. Steve went above any typical customer service especially making sure I was as familiar as possible with the operation of the new machine and I really appreciate that kind of effort. So if you need tech service, I will very much recommend Steve or Shaun for your service.

The smug young "manager" (or so she represented herself) arrogantly refused to accept it on the grounds that it was too heavy. We tried to show her that we purchased the label properly and that she had to be mistaken but she loudly tried to shame us and dug in her heels, flatly refusing to accept it with continued major know-it-all attitude. She insisted that FedEx simply didn't deliver packages over 70 pounds to residential addresses. When we insisted that she look again, the only solution she could offer us was that we purchase express level service that cost over $600 more. When we couldn't agree to that she asked us to leave with our package. There was no convincing her that she had to be mistaken. When we got home, I called FedEx and of course our label was correct. The mistake she was making was that she was confusing their specific Home Delivery product (which is a special 70 pound limit service level that delivers packages on Saturdays to home addresses at no additional cost by using contracted non-FedEx drivers) with ALL home delivery in general. Our package was well within the limits for the FedEx Ground label that we purchased. So we wound up having a lot of our time wasted, strained ourselves unnecessarily, and were publicly shamed because this employee was improperly or inadequately trained in both FedEx policy and basic customer service. As it turns out, we were not the idiots that she was looking down her nose at... she is the actual idiot. Hopefully the REAL manager of the store will read this review and realize that he or she has a serious problem in need of fixing. Nastiness is never acceptable in a service oriented business like Kinko's... especially when Yelp exists. As it turns out, any Walgreens will take a FedEx drop off, and they don't give you the attitude that this nasty little big shot thinks is acceptable behavior. That'll be the last time I set foot in that place.

Social media influencer in need of a light ring? They have those. Need office furniture? They have a pretty big selection. Files? Paper? Laundry detergent? Canned air? Basically most everything you could want to organize or run a business is here. Five stars for inventory. The other side of that coin is there is no one available to help. You have to wander around the store and hope you stumble upon what you are looking for. Yes, there are signs, but under what category do you shelf a 'ring light' for example? Is the water cooler under 'water' 'cooler' 'office equipment'? One person was working the print area. We didn't bother them, they were busy. The one person at the register was surly. We all have bad days, but this person was not an example of customer facing professionalism. Didn't speak unless absolutely necessary and that was just the spiel corporate tells them to say. We needed a large cart to move a box from the back of the store. He just pointed to the regular shopping carts. At check out there was no interaction other than 'do you want insurance'. So zero stars for customer service. Not a big deal. They have a nice selection and if we are looking for something they carry we'll stop in again. It just would have been nice to share a bit of friendly interaction with a fellow human being but, whatever.

I had created some posters for the business online and was just picking them up in store. But Luca (hope I spelled it right) was working the printing services area. I picked up my posters and I had asked him how much would he charge to laminate my uncle's obituary card, he quickly grabbed it and took care of it. I really appreciated how he handled it with care and told me don't worry about the cost that he would take care of it, this means so much to me as this is important to me and I didn't want it to be damaged. Luca was very sweet and left a lasting impression on me. I really hope Luca gets some praise for making my day and for being so kind, but also being a great employee. Making sure I loved the posters and showing them to me and also doing that favor for me with my uncle's obituary. Lucas customer service was on point and I appreciate it so much. It's no wonder that shop has customers happy- Kristen is not just friendly she is knowledgeable, moves quickly and carefully, and she is also efficient with other customers and my own time. I will always go there from now on. As a note- I had shipped things earlier in the day in Warwick and I had a less than optimal experience (from a store manager none the less). It was a friendly experience, don't get me wrong, but he was not helpful and wanted to initially charge me considerably more for my packages. I asked about why it seemed so expensive... he blamed his quotes on "prices being raised in july"." Little did he know my business receipt from a week and a half ago was from july. He adjusted my quote. It's relevant because it goes to show that it's important to be aware of pricing because some people are not as honest as Kristen. Thanks again Kristen!
