I will never go back to this UPS Store #4762 located at Home Depot Plaza in Plymouth. I have been a customer for years and suddenly they are charging me a $10 "holding fee" for shipped boxes. This morning (7/05/26) was the second time in month this occurred. Today's 8-3/4" X 15" boxed charged rate at19 lbs. was delivered to this UPS Store last Wednesday and we received no notification. Someone from this store penned in $10. on the label which seems very suspicious. This might be a store policy but if so, it appears very suspect. Be careful if you are returning merchandise here. There's a new staff person (a young blonde-haired man) who doesn't seem to be properly trained and inaccuracies of your return/tracking receipts could cost you money. Standing in line, I was watching him taking care of an elderly lady that was having some difficulty with her returns and I watched him roll his eyes multiple times. She was being polite but he seemed to be visibly annoyed. When it was my turn, I had four (4) packages to return to Amazon. If you're unfamiliar, Amazon's return/refund process begins with the scan of your package at the shipping facility. If it's not scanned properly, you don't get your refund (or it can make it difficult). When I left, I realized that I had four (4) tracking receipts but he had double scanned one of the items and not scanned another. In addition, one of the scanned labels showed a zero (0) weight which could cause a vendor to believe that nothing was in the box if the box was lost in transit and I tried to show that I properly returned it. I had to drive back to the store. When I came back to the store, he seemed annoyed/rushed when looking for my packages. When he finally found them he scanned the package that had not been previously scanned but did so with someone else's package on the scale. This caused my tracking receipt to illustrate a weight that was three times what it actually was. It would seem that he isn't aware that these kind of mistakes can cost customers considerable money if the items aren't properly scanned, and then get lost in shipping. It would also seem that he needs remedial training in customer service and courtesy. read more

This store use to be great, not sure what's going on. I've brought an expensive bag to be returned to the store and twice they have shipped it to me!! I am beyond pissed. And a second package I brought n is now lost. So that's $400 bucks I need to be credited for. I have no idea how to resolve this. But now I have to go back to the store for the 3rd time. I went to return my Verizon equipment Saturday in a line 12 people deep and the employee was by herself and kept her cool and was Professional with some cranky customers same today again today o inundated with mmm 14 people deep and again nothing but patience and professional. Every time I have to drop a package off, the staff is friendly and efficient. Even when the line was 5 people deep, only one clerk, I waited in line no more than 3 minutes. These folks know their stuff and are very pleasant to deal with. read more

Store 4762 used to be a good location. Today at 4PM when the line was 12 deep, my package was labeled and paid and I left it on side counter with the other outbound packages, as I've done for 15 years. Girl told me to go wait in line, I said its all set. I left the packages and on the way out the door she shouts "Its not going to move". She was right. She intentionaly held the package (one was 3 day select) and did not release it that day. Frankly this is appalling for a desk clerk to be so immature that they are going to hide a package and hold it from shipping to punish somebody that did not care for their arbitrary rules. Poor Customer Service all around. I know its hard to get help these days but this girl is hurting your business. read more

Worst customer service. They refuse prepaid packages and make you wait for 16 minutes just to hand it to them.

I commissioned an artist to do a picture of my daughters dog, had it matted and framed and used UPS Plymouth MA store to package and ship it to her in Phoenix AZ. She never received it. She filed a claim but they said they couldn't do anything as she was not the "sender", so I notified them and sent them copies of the claim she submitted with my contact information. While waiting in line today there was a 12 year old boy on the phone trying to assist a customer and struggling with the computer. There was one other gentleman in his 20's-30's working on the counter with a line of customers. He wasn't able to help the kid on the phone. There was also an older gray haired man who just walked out while all this was going on. He took a bag of what looked like clothing from a woman who said it needed to be packaged in something else. He put her stuff behind the counter and walked out the door. I hope the package the lady left with a return label got sent out. Isn't the legal age for kids to work 16 in Massachusetts unless they have a work permit? This kid was way under 16. It was one of those experiences that makes you shake your head walking out the door, like what did I just witness? Next time I will drive the extra few minutes to the Kingston UPS Store. I wouldn't want my stuff left behind the counter to be forgotten about. read more

Been there 3 times over the last year for random items I need to ship. Customer service is awful. The staff clearly don't want to be there and it shows. STAY AWAY!!! These people INADEQUATELY PACKED $2500 worth of items...and as a result, one item was OBLITERATED in transport!!! Total weight of the shipment was around 45 lbs...and the 5 items were packed with MINIMAL packing material...causing all the items to bang around each other in transport. There was more AIR in the box than there was PACKING MATERIAL!!! UPS Denied the claim as it was transported safely...and informed me that the SOLE fault was that of the UPS Store for NOT packing the items safely. Both the manager and OWNER refuse to reimburse me for the loss of a $120 item, claiming it is "not their problem"... TERRIBLE service. read more

We purchased two flexible flyer sleds at an estate sale and needed to ship them home. We went into the Plymouth, MA UPS store thinking it would cost $100+/-. They're lightweight but slightly awkward in size/shape. The manager was assisting us, we found out later. He didn't bother to weight the sleds and took some rough measurements. He punched some numbers into a calculator and said "it's a lot more than I thought, $460 (+/-)!" We were disgusted, as we've used UPS in the past for much larger items and never has it ever cost so much. We decided to try another UPS store to see if maybe this store was misquoting. We drove the 10m to the Kingston, MA location. The manager and worker measured and weighted the sleds then worked together and charged us only $130! Nearly $300 difference!!! How can the same chain charge two totally different prices?! The manager! Clearly he's ripping people off! read more

Folks, do your homework before using UPS stores. Since they are franchises, they can charge whatever they want for shipping. They DO NOT use UPS published rates. We had to ship a one lb. package from MA to NJ with a declared insurance value of $15,000. We were charged $228 for this shipment. If we had gone to the hub location of the real UPS center in Sandwich (who knew) we would have been charged less than half that and after checking with the US Post Office in nearby Halifax, we could have paid $41 to send this registered mail with the same amount of insurance. They should have signs posted in all stores saying they are not truly UPS. Use the post office, I will avoid UPS stores forever. read more
