I have no clue if the manager was on a power trip or something but this was the absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced in a fedex to date. I came in to pick up some packages for my boyfriend whom gets his work inventory shipped every few weeks. I had all the necessary information needed as far as my identification and the package details, full tracking # etc. which I have used every other time I pick up his packages for him. The staff member who went to the back to get the package, went behind a wall (where i could still see her) to tell the manager. I hear the manager saying she wont give me the package and that he needs to be the one to pick it up . She then comes back to tell me that. I started to tell her that I have gone to several other fedex to get his packages with no issues and she cut me off before i could even get halfway through my sentence and keeps repeating(almost at yelling volume) that the manager says no and that she cant do anything. the manager says no. and just repeats this a few times. I call him immediately to let him know they were not releasing his packages. He calls them as im leaving out the door and they lied to him saying that the reason they couldn't release the package to me was because the manager wasn't there to authorize its release which is VERY interesting considering I was just there less than 3 minutes before he called and the manager was very much there in person. Unless the staff member who was "helping" me was lying... I hope this whole staff gets proper training on customer service and learn proper store practices as I have NEVER encountered this type of behavior from fedex staff. I had time to contact corporate about this so hopefully they will tighten up and act professional moving forward.

FedEx drivers have lied about me being unavailable to sign for a package multiple times now. The…read morelast time happened Friday 06/02/23. I took a vacation day from work and was waiting at home for the delivery. While sitting by my window in full view of the driveway and road, I received an update, made by the delivery driver, at 1:33pm stating they attempted to deliver the package and that the resident was not home. Clearly the diver lied. Not only was I home, but my wife and son were home. This has happened before, so I was not surprised. I attempted to have the package held at their pickup facility, but according to FedEx the seller put a note on the deliver that it could not be changed. I called FedEx and after navigating through their miserable phone support system, I was informed that the package could not be held and that I would need to take another vacation day from work and be home to sign for the package. To any businesses reading this review. Please show some consideration for your customers and use a different carrier.

It might not matter to them that they cost another company a customer but like the old saying says "buyer beware". When I walked into McGivern, I was immediately greeted and treated so kindly. Staff went the extra mile to help me and explain the timing, cost and options. My resizing and appraisals were completed in about 7 days which I thought was remarkable. My next trip in, I decided to resize a bracelet and reset a ring. Mike personally helped me and was incredibly helpful. Once my jewelry updates were complete- within the stated timeframe, by the way- I picked them up and I was absolutely floored at how beautifully they turned out. They were professional, efficient, kind, friendly, respectful, hardworking, and genuinely funny. By the end of the day, they felt more like family than a moving crew. This was not an easy move. They handled four different addresses, moved incredibly heavy oak and cherry furniture, two sofa beds, glass table tops, and even a pinball machine without a single complaint. Every piece was carefully wrapped and protected, they put down floor runners to protect the floors, and they even happily helped rearrange furniture until everything was exactly where we wanted it. It was scheduled to arrive after we returned. After a few days, no mail. So we went in and asked if we could get our held mail. We were told that all held mail had been delivered. Literally, 4 months later, we get the mail. Fast forward to last week. Our neighbor knocked on our door and asked if we received a package. We had not. Apparently, the post office told her that they delivered it to her house. Then they told her they put it in her mailbox. Then they told her they put it on our porch and gave her our address implying we stole her package and saying to her, "we're not supposed to do this." I then get a note from the postal carrier asking we return the package they mistakenly delivered to our address that we never received! A few days later, I found the package on the side of my house in a garden bed when I went to clean out leaves. So not only does this place illegally give people addresses out to disgruntled people and accuse it's customers of being thieves, they can't even do their damn job and deliver the mail.
