Absolute scam!!! I'm…read morenot even sure how I initially got set up with this company, but never again. I thought I was calling Mayflower but somehow got routed through to this company. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and gave me a reasonable quote, and even offered to pack my house for me. Unfortunately that is where the good ends. Upon arriving at my house the day of my move, the moving company informed me that my move would cost an ADDITIONAL $8,000 from what I had already paid due to "the size of my move". I was initially quoted for about 600 cubic feet, which was then more than doubled to 1400 cubic feet upon pickup. Not having any other options, I was forced to pay because they already had my items on their truck. I found it really puzzling to believe that my move would take up that much space since the place I was moving out of was a 700 square foot condo. I was then told that I would have 60 days of free storage, but after taking my items the company informed me that it would only be 30 days. I then called the storage company with the details of my drop off and they informed me that they had no record of me or my items which was very concerning. I then called the number on my invoice for US Interstate & Rail who also had no record of me. Finally after calling the number on the website, they were able to direct me to the storage company that had my items to arrange for delivery. My items were then held hostage for delivery until I paid their driver an additional $1,700 for a Uhaul they had to rent because their "80 foot truck" supposedly wouldn't fit in my 100+ foot driveway. I was told by the moving company that along with the packing services I had paid for, it also included unpacking, as well as a $25,000.00 insurance policy per item that they packed, so it just made sense to have them do it all. Upon delivery, my items were delivered in a small uhaul (again confirming my belief that this wasn't the 1400 cubic foot move they tried to tell me it was) and all left in my garage for me to unload, unpack and put together. Upon unpacking I came to find out that a box of my music gear (that this company packed) was now missing. Equipment totaling over $10,000.00 now unaccounted for, as well as multiple items such as my TV, Couch, entertainment center and other music equipment all broken. Along with that, there were numerous items that did not belong to me. Hoping that it was a mix up and that maybe I got someone else's items and they received mine, I tried reaching out to the company numerous times for the following month with zero response. After the 6th inquiry with no response or follow up, I proceeded to move forward with opening a claim for the missing items. After 3 weeks, the claims company reached out to me and informed me that my move did not cover the $25,000.00 per item packed that they told me, but instead only 60 cents per pound, making my reimbursement due $91.00. Had I known that they were lying about their insurance coverages, I would have packed and done the move myself. Not only am I out from being severely overcharged for the move, but now I am out thousands of dollars worth of musical equipment that I have acquired over the years, while this company refuses to take any accountability to try to help me recover/replace my lost and broken items. This company claims that they aren't brokers, but the more I have had to deal with them, the more I begin to believe they are lying about that as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Unfortunately i was in a fast move situation so i booked my move less than 7 days out and so they used their clause about forfeiture of ur payment if less than 7 day to keep my 1700 dollars even though i cancelled them before they did a thing for me. I tried disputing it with my bank as fraud since well, they are fraudulent as hell, but since they spend all their time on the legalities of their contracts rather than doing the job you hire them to do my bank let it go and i had to take the loss. They will lie to you, they will manipulate you, and they will cheat and extort every penny than can from you and if you ask questions they will all play stupid and change their stories to keep you confused. I actually am thankful i got away from them with a 1700 dollar loss because i have no doubt it would have been worse if i let them touch my property. I paid 700 dollars for a uhaul trailer and moved myself and it was much less of a headache than these conartists

Though the price may be a little high compared to other options around BG, you're not just paying for living space, you're paying for excellent accommodating management (that doesn't hound you for rent), immediate and attentive maintenance service, and a great great location that's connected to a local city park. The management of this complex also manages UHaul service and storage units for all your moving needs. Studio apartments are also available for around $400/month. I cannot recommend Shamrock Village enough. Probably the best choice in BG.

During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

They under-quoted the amount of time that it was going to take to complete the move even after all information about the move that they requested was provided to them prior. Once they realized it was going to take longer than the amount of time quoted to me by them, they got in a big hurry and just started throwing my items carelessly into trash bags. They did not care about the items, and some items were broken, and other items "mysteriously" came up missing. They did not bring boxes for the move like I was told, instead bringing trash bags only to pack everything in them with out any way to tell what was in them, making un packing stressful and a nightmare for me. They left a bunch of items at the old address for which I myself had to go back FOUR separate times to retrieve my items, that they determined on their own that the items were trash, with out asking me if the items needed to be included in the move or not, they just left them there. They would have left all of my food in the refrigerator and freezer, if I would not have asked them if they packed it or not. I firmly believe that Ian completely lied to me about his so called company, supposed satisfied customers, and I know he lied about the boxes and packing tape that he said he would bring. Then when going back to the old address to make sure everything had been packed, and finding out that all the items in the bathroom were not packed along with a few other items, I told Ian that these items needed to be packed and moved. He very rudely replied, "Can I get paid!". Then once he proceeded to rip the shower curtain off the wall of the bathroom with the shower curtain still attached to the rod, threw all of my bathroom items in a trash bag, drove over to the new address, opened up the door and just threw the stuff on the floor and couch, and left as quick as he could. Ian made the moving process that was already stressful for me, even more stressful by lying and misrepresenting himself to gain my business. Do not waste your time hiring this company, or else you will regret it. I know I regret hiring them.
