Did they assure me they knew what they were doing? Of course. I paid $98.08 to ship several items back to my home in California. That is alot of money folks. One of the items I shipped is a very fragile and valuable Boxer statue. It is a limited edition which has not been made in years. I questioned the gal over shipping it back to my home or just bringing it on the plane with me. They repeatedly assured me they do this for a living and my statue, and all other items, would be carefully packed. The box arrived several days later. Just a plain brown box and crushed on top. Looks like either someone sat on the box or put a very heavy object on it. But it is crushed. I opened the box and was happy to find lots of bubble wrap but no peanuts. I removed 7 lbs of various books, show catalogs and a framed picture. With hardly any cushion sat below my prized dog statue. BROKEN!!! The weight of the 7 lbs of books coupled with the crushed box top had broken the ears off my boxer dogs! I was devastated. Who puts 7 lbs of books on top of a fragile statue?? I told them over and over again it was valuable and fragile. 7 lbs of books........almost $100 paid to ship "safely".......the most important thing in the box is broken. Oh, and all the super light items were on the bottom. Of course. I have sent an email to the store and am trying to get an email to their corp office. I bought insurance but seriously.........you can't replace this hand crafted item. They are very sought after and collectible. That is why I bought it and tried to safely ship it. Beware !! **Day 2 and no response either from the store or the corporate office. BEWARE !!!

My agency is in Dallas and we needed to get these components to the Speedway so instead of printing and shipping here in Dallas I tasked these guys to save money on shipping and save time since they are near the Speedway. It was a risk and I was against the clock. Evan worked with me the whole way and I put him through the grinder with a million questions he always came back with solid info. I took a leap of faith on him and he came through in a big way. With all the changes the clients had requested, he had to rework the estimate atleast three times. Then when qualifying day came he showed up with everything we asked him for, found my contact people and showed them how to set up and install the step & repeat with hardware etc. Evan went the extra mile and if I was you I'd put complete trust in this shop to get the job done. Maybe just dont change it on him 3 or 4 times like I did. Solid shop we will use them again for next years race if they will have us!

Of course, that's not my personality so I didn't give up. Then I stopped in at Beacon Signs next door to Room Swap in Avon. Bob, the owner, listened to my ideas, what the conditions & requirements were and he made it happen. By now I had a running list of materials and quotes from other companies so I recognized a good price when I heard it. I started out with a few pieces to test the quality and workmanship. 5 days later the first order was ready and I fought back tears when I picked up my order. They were beautiful, exactly what we wanted and the workmanship was wonderful. They are terrific to work with, offers suggestions on material choices, and if the size will produce an excellent quality finished product. The compliments never end and everyone ask who made them. I'll be placing my fourth order soon with more to follow. I highly recommend Beacon's for any of your sign or design needs!!!

Upon trying out a few different chairs and attempting to narrow down what I wanted. I was approached and notified the store was closing in 2 minutes and asked if I needed help. How about this? A. fix your times to align with 98% of similar chain stores and what your google listing shows. B. ask me if I need assistance when I enter your store, instead of being complete ghosts and approaching me ONLY to notify me you guys are closing in 2 minutes... How these places are still in business these days is already a stretch of the imagination. Add in poor customer service and terrible hours, they're just compiling the problem. I'll gladly go elsewhere and spend my money.

I have always preferred Office Depot to keep my home office well stocked. I entered the store and found clear labels of what each aisle contained which brought me to the exact type of item I was looking for. This was much easier than shopping with their office supplies competitors where many aisles have no labels forcing you to wander around looking. I was looking for desk organization items such as in & out baskets, post it note holders, pencil holders, that type of thing. They had a wide variety of styles and prices to choose from. I didn't need the whole set just one specific item and narrowed it down to two that I wanted. This was good to have a choice and I opted for the more expensive one because it was more sturdy. Too many times I have shopped at a competitor only to walk out empty handed because they didn't have want I wanted. And I don't like for an employee to tell me I can order one online. If you are going to have a brick and mortar store then please stock it because I want what I want when I want it and don't want to wait. Office Depot "gets it" and does exactly that.

He was able to take a PDF file of my printing and print it on the cardstock and was able to meet the deadlines I was having to send out wedding invitation. I even an ordeal where I ordered wedding invitation online to get the ugliest invitation I ever saw! I couldnt salvage all of it because my time was short. Long story short, these guys were able to respond back to me promptly, print them out on the right cardstock and always got it on time to me for the few times I have used them. Its family business so makes it even better to support them, and its much cheaper than going to a KINKOS. They do a great job here!
