There were 2 young people working at this store at the end of the day. I went in to mail an Amazon return and a return to ALO. Both are paid for by the company I was returning them to. The Amazon package only gave me a copy of the return label which had all the bar codes needed to make the return. I had a screen shot of this label with all the barcodes. I did not have a print out of the label. This UPS Store did not scan the label and charged me a total of $6.01 to accept the email from me with a copy of the return label. The charge was for them to accept my email and for them to print it. I have never paid anything to return an Amazon package. I have been mailing Amazon packages from this UPS Stores for years and never had a problem. I have met the owner when the store first open and she was delightful. I asked for her contact information and the employee did not:would not provide it to me. Buyer beware. read more

I've been going to the UPS store in Nocatee since it opened about 7 years ago. They always go out of their way to provide prompt & courteous service. The owner and the manager are both amazing; one is usually on-site to ensure things are running smoothly. It can get crowded esp. around the holidays but the line usually moves quickly. Well, I never thought I'd review a UPS store, but I've had so many good experiences here...why not? Another Amazon return, and quite honestly if it wasn't so easy to do these returns I would not use Amazon so frequently. We had to return a Kindle cover that I ordered (my mistake, wrong size). It could not have been easier! All I needed to do was have the QR code available for the UPS worker. They scanned it and printed a receipt for me in less than 3 minutes! I didn't even need to box it up myself. I almost did not stop in on a Saturday thinking it would be crazy-busy. Nope, a few customers, in and and out, tickity-tock! Now this was not an anomaly. I've frequented this store quite a few times and have always had a positive experience--even during the holidays. Additionally, the store was COVID ready. I do not know what happened at this UPS location, but the past 2 times I've gone here I was completely ignored by both women employees. When I asked if I could get a receipt for a package I was dropping off, she told me next time I should use the kiosk. I was the only customer in the store! I didn't realize they had a kiosk but nonetheless, she was rude and lazy. Today, again, similar thing happened and again I was the only customer in the store. It worries me when I hear them pitching to older people how the US Mail takes weeks to deliver local packages and that it's best to use their $12.00 minimum fee. There was an elderly man in today with 10 packages and the attendant was saying how it would be weeks for the Post Office to deliver. That's just unethical to do that to elderly people. read more

On this particular day, I was misguided by GPS for the post office in an area unfamiliar to me. Already irritated from being completely lost, I headed home, and Yelp'd a UPS store that was near my location and on my way home (THANKS, YELPERS!), bringing me to this location. I was greeted by a friendly lady (possibly named Linda, if the name is accurate on my receipt) who was EXTREMELY helpful in trying to send my small package in the most cost-effective way possible--regular mail, in this case. She clearly has been in this business long enough to know what can happen with freshly hand-written mailing labels, because she handled it in a manner that would not smear my writing. She took great care in taking the backing off and using it as a "blotter" to prevent smearing the label as she rubbed her hand across it to apply. I had never seen that done before. As far as price comparisons? Sending my package (plus the large envelope I purchased) cost more than the contents itself (but doesn't that seem to happen a lot?), and I really didn't care at that point, because I'm sure all non-USPS shipping services do a surcharge mark-up (even with first-class or priority mail), and I have no way to compare it to direct post office pricing anyway. All I know is my package was shipped on time, and I walked away from that location knowing I had received great customer service! read more

I shipped a package from this store and it was returned to them broken in pieces. When I initially took the package to the store I had it in my own box and the UPS store put wrapped it in bubble wrap to protect it during shipping. At that time I was not informed that due to it being my own box it was not insured for damage. If I had been informed that it was not insured due to using my own box I would have purchased a box from the store. When the package was returned damaged I was informed due to shipping it in my own box the damage was not covered. read more

About a month ago I shipped a package at UPS from this store and found out upon delivery, as it was a gift, the top of the box that was glass was shattered. The. UPS store told us that local UPS delivery would be by to pick up the shattered gift and package, now in Fort Lauderdale, and determine if we would get anything for the damages. UPS contacted us afterward stating we should have purchased a second box to put around the gift to ensure it was not broken. I just went back into the same UPS store with the brand new gift and explained my story from a month ago, Requesting this time and extra shipping box to ensure it's safe arrival. They did not offer to ship my package for free this time or to give me any kind of discount. They also acted like what I told them was no big deal even though I was shipping it to the same exact person and it was the same package, not sorry for me in the least. I am very disappointed in their poor customer service. I gave them the opportunity to make things right and they didn't. read more
