John was very rude and talked down to me for 45 minutes. When I walked up, I had a lot of packages from temu and Amazon. The first thing he said was "we close at 7pm. It was 6:15pm. I stated, "I have 45 minutes. " He told me to "hurry up." Then he started fussing at me saying, "you needed to have everything ready." Then, he said, "do you hear me." There was another lady working. I asked her to help me. She said that she couldn't because that's my boss." He made me so nervous. I also lost $45 on an Amazon return, because he fussed at me. I didn't respond at all. Then, at one point, he backed away from the register and stopped helping me. I didn't get to finish. That day was the last day to return an item to Amazon. I lost 45 dollars. I come here frequently to send packages and return my Amazon purchases. The local owner is a very nice and knowledgeable person. He handles the flow of customers with ease. This location is always busy but the workers move your packages quickly. I am giving the store a four because of the wait time. This is a locally owned store and many times the owner is the only worker. Regardless of the wait time, every customer chatted happily as we waited. The owner provided great service! read more

I've used this store many times. I ship a bit from ebay. Never have an issue. I love the reviews from others....completely clueless to how the process of shipping works. UPS is not cheap, but when it comes to shipping they are all the same. High$$, shop around. This aint 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. Come prepared with your package ready to have a label slapped on it, otherwise it's going to cost you. Same as the competition...and USPS. Don't like the neighborhood? Go somewhere else. UPS STORE This is weird with masks and gloves and with people on edge, BUT... perhaps this is when businesses are best to review. In Portsmouth, Va. the UPS Store on Victory Blvd always has a line out the door. But they're very organized, they are really good at answering questions, and the line goes fast. Might I suggest, if you have something planned that's going to take longer than a shipping package, get the information you need and come back. Don't disrupt the flow. The staff was very courteous, while I waited my turn (as a proper customer does). She not only welcomed myself, she acknowledged another customer who was also waiting her turn and trying to figure out some conflict of labeling. To which the staff( clearly the only one here, at this time) offered resolution to her problem of which whomever was assisting her on her call did not conclude. My experience was as expected( and beyond) worth returning. I was assisted in a timely fashion and with kind patients. As were the other persons in office awaiting service. Won't accept my USPS package. I've shipped USPS with other UPS stores MANY times. This one not helpful in that way.

Anyone would rather use UPS than Fedx but going to use them from now on. Spent 200.00 sending bridesmaids gifts I was asked to write down the address on a scrap piece of paper and the lady entered the address incorrectly UPS called me and told me it was sent back to them. I went up there to see the address and the address was CORRECT on the box but the specialist entered it in their system in the wrong field. They said it couldn't be delivered because the APT was in the wrong field BUT IT WAS ON THE BOX. Than proceed to tell ME I HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT RESENT. how does this even make sense. Customer service is terrible. Haven't done anything to help just don't want to take the responsibility. Oh here's the best part. When I went to see the box, it was DAMAGED. the box was smushed up and horribly looking. Will be getting my money back and going somewhere else. read more

I was just charged $51 to ship 2 small boxes that weighed under 2 lbs. I purchased 2 boxes at $6 each to secure the boxes I already brought in. Then I was charged an additional $10 for them to put tape on it, I could've taped them myself, I should've asked for the rest of the roll. I was offered $14 shipping for each package even though one place was close and the other is a few states away, not sure how they came out to the same price. I feel like I was just taken advantage of today. I'll use a different shipping provider next time. read more

You know you're shopping at Victory Landing/Crossing/Square when you can't even get from your truck to the store you want to shop at without getting asked for money for a church, ran outta gas, or some other random shenanigans. This is not the UPS Store's fault, but it goes into the experience. I feel I was significantly over charged to ship an envelope 30 miles South, but I really didn't want to spend the hour plus driving round trip to deliver it myself. I asked for ground & they said technically it is considered overnight because it will be delivered the next day. Honestly, I'm going to stick with FedEx in the future. read more

I came in to pick up two packages and shocked at how big these boxes were (I was driving a coupe). The service was impeccable. Not only was I helped to my car, but I received help to get my boxes into the vehicle. I highly recommend this location. I believe the young man's name was Riggs. I have used this location before so decided to ship a cake to a lonely friend in Pittsburgh for Christmas. Imagine my shock when I requested 2nd day delivery only to be told that it wouldn't get there until Monday (today is Wednesday) AND I would be charged the full 2nd day price!!!!! The only option I had was to go overnight delivery at $105.00 + $10 for a box!!!!! WHAT???!! This franchise gouges you and without a blink of an eye!!! 1. charging FULL PRICE for 3nd day delivery and it actually taking 5 days??! 2. Forcing you to instead pay for next day...charging over $100 (knowing they have you over a barrel when you were counting on 2 day delivery) + to add insult to injury, charging another $10 for a box. I had no choice being as it was a homemade cake. Can you imagine a fresh cake being delivered 5 days later??? I will NEVER use this location again and recommend others drop it as well. The man at the store was amazing. I came in on Friday looking to ship items home that I had bought from overseas when I was on my ship. I was in a rush but I was worried that the stuff wouldn't make it home or would break. I told the man my concerns and he made sure that the stuff would get back and no issues would be had. He first put the box of unbreakable stuff together. He made sure that I used all the space possible. Then I realized I had to start heading to the airport and I told him that I was sorry but I had to go. He took my credit card number and asked the value on the items and told me not to worry because he would wrap it but there would be a charge and it would get home like a week or two after me. I said I wasn't worried and thanks and left. I got all my packages 4 days after I got home and the stuff and items were wrapped perfectly and nothing came broken. the man was amazing and I would come back to this UPS store because of this. All the UPS stores should be like this. Thank you again. read more
