This place was horrible! I had an item that I was returning to a company and they were paying for the postage. The only thing I had to do was put it in a box and attach the label that they sent me. They told me to send it UPS. There is another store in Purcellville called, Mail-It-All, that I usually send my packages through, but I was in another shopping area and just happened to see the UPS store. I decided to go in. The only thing I needed to do was buy a small box and hand it to the girl to ship. First off, the girl had the personality of a razor. She was rude and curt. She had no customer service skills whatsoever. Then she told me I would owe $20.43. I reminded her that the postage was already paid for. She told me she knew that but then informed me that the box, which was really small, would be $13.43 and then for them to pack it they would charge me $7.00! I grabbed my stuff and walked out. I went over to the dog store, a few stores down, and asked them for a box. I had told them what UPS tried to do. They said they had heard plenty of complaints before and very happily gave me a box that I needed. I then went down to Mail-It-All and they mailed it all for free. They, like usual were so friendly and a pleasure to work with too. I asked them if I needed a box how much it would be. They said any time a person has an item where the postage is already paid for the box is always free. I told them about my experience with UPS and they said they had heard many stories also. I told them I would never step foot in there again. They said that they appreciate loyalty from their customers. Since then I have heard all kinds of stories about their practices and how they rip people off. They will even charge $2.00 for a little piece of tape! I can't believe that anyone would ever waste their money in that place. I would love to see it go out of business. I can't stand to see anyone screw over the public and win! UGH!! When the store opened, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. No more! The associates are untrained (not to mention their lack of hygiene). I can't but feel I'm interrupting them from their cell phone activity. I made an appt for passport photo- the associate wasn't trained, the photo was denied, he was rude and made it obvious he couldn't be bothered. The manager charged me $20 dollars for a hardcopy photo that was rejected by the feds, and no one could figure out to send a digital photo. Find somewhere for shipping needs, unless it's DIY (Amazon return) cuz the staff are useless. On the other hand, the 19 year old at Walgreens was totally professional, successfully printed and emailed passport photos and charged less. Disappointing read more

Well we came all the way from West Virginia here because that is the only game in town when you're dealing with an Amazon package that they want you to have them pack up oh my gosh I'm so sorry it's the only game in town they are so nasty so unfriendly so disorganized the place is a pigsty and if they're object is to make people not come back they win I will tell you even though it wasn't my fault next time I will pay the fee just so I don't have to come in here. read more

I have had worse service at a store, probably, than I had at this one TODAY, when I went in to ship 4 items...I just cannot remember when that worse service might have taken place. Lazy and disrespectful are the first two terms that come to mind. There was no one in line behind me, yet the clerk did not want to take the items. She kept saying to use self-service. RIGHT ON THE INSTRUCTIONS for the first two are the words, "show the return code to any associate who will scan the QR code, pack, and ship your return. We'll email you a return receipt." The next one "No shipping box required. Show QR code to the store associate. Any store associate can help you ...." The last one "Securely pack your items... Ensure that there are no other tracking labels attached to the package. Show QR code to the store associate who...." When I pointed that out to her, the response, to my surprise, was "no." "No?" "Amazon does not say that. Those are not the instructions." So now she's calling me a liar. It's right there in writing, right on two of the printouts I gave her with the QR codes. Wow. Just wow. Exactly WHAT is she being paid to do, besides call customers liars and tell them to go take care of themselves? Next she told me ? Easy Amazon returns; helpful with shipping options for an odd item (had to mail bagpipes!); quick online print fulfillment. Had a last minute online print order and stopped in after 1 hr just to check, not at all expecting it to be fulfilled, but it was! The woman who assisted me was great and quick to find part of the order still in the printer tray. . . . and, oh brother . . . covid-crazy Yelp reviews. I wish I knew them by name b/c several of them are wonderful to deal with but, there are a couple like today Saturday that are just duds for personality. I am always pleasant and I know everyone is not outgoing, however when I say hey how are you you could at least acknowledge my existence. The kids working in here are rude. I will never go back there. I have used this store many times and was happy with the level of service. However, now with the Covid virus I only want to go into stores that adhere to safe guidelines. There is one woman (maybe the supervisor or manager) that never wears a mask. I refuse to have her wait on me. Today was the last straw. She's moving around on both sides of the counter stacking boxes. Has no sensitivity to the customer and keeping a distance. And no mask!! The store staff have been great at helping me get our kits shipped. Even with a crowd if they see folks come in with prelabeled shipments they direct me or others to drop off on the side avoiding the long lines. People staffing the store are friendly and helpful. I've never felt overcharged as some of the reviews here suggest. In fact, the prices here are competitive with others providing similar services. It's rather unreasonable to expect that any business isn't going to make a small profit! This store is a life-saver, and the people who work there are truly some of the nicest and most helpful around. I wish I could name all the names, but I know Casey because she just helped me with a challenging printing project. I use services here often, and it is always pleasant, affordable, and professional. They know what they are doing. Is shipping sometimes pricey? Sure. But not more here than anywhere else, and they offer a range of prices if you are not in a rush. Someone else mentioned parking -- it can be a little whacky, but it's totally manageable. Just be patient and sometimes willing to walk a few feet during busy hours. read more

I took 3 packages into this store on June 3, 2020. Two had pre-paid labels. I was told they could not give me a receipt. The other had a return label, but the clerk insisted I needed one of their lablels and then tried to ship it at a cost higher than the item was worth. As of today, June 30, 2020, none of the packages have arrived at their destinations. I'm currently out over $250 in refunds. The store has not been helpful. They tell me to contact UPS. read more

I had 20 or more letters and previously printed prepaid UPS labels but run out of envelopes. I arrived at this store only to be told by the UPS store employee that I could only have 1 envelope. I paid for overnight service (probably a few hundred dollars in total) for these labels but couldn't get enough envelopes to send them out?! I ended up going to Mail it All in town and the Owners were more than happy to provide overnight UPS envelopes (which are free when you use the UPS service). This is the third UPS store where we've rented a mailbox. This location is our favorite. The staff is professional, friendly, and prompt with service. We've never had any issues with our mail or packages. The parking is plentiful since you can park anywhere in the shopping center. read more
