Not sure why this location has so many low reviews. I've never had an issue at this location, other than long lines. Whenever there's a long line though, you can cut the line to drop off your package if your package already has a prepaid label. I definitely recommend printing out your own prepaid labels so you can cut the lines. I definitely prefer UPS over USPS !! read more

This notary on Monday said she couldn't notarized my document because she need PROOF that I was the power of attorney to sign the document. That is not her business. Her job was to verify my signature. I asked for a manager and was told that she "was the boss." So much for customer service. I tweeted out to UPS and the response was that each UPS store was independently owned and could make up their own rules. I've been going to this store for years and have only witnessed one nice polite worker who is a younger man. The older man that works there is consistently rude. Not everyone works at UPS and knows what you can mail things in. He never speaks to customers nicely. But my favorite thing happened yesterday. I went in with a package that wasn't taped. For the first time. There was a woman who I have never seen before who helped me. She turned to me and goes "you didn't tape this" I said "no I usually put the label over it as tape" because that's what I always do. So she tells me it's $1 for them to use a strip of tape. I said I didn't have my wallet because I didn't. I used the computer that was unlocked for 10 seconds to print one page. It cost $1.17, which is absurd. After mentioning that this was a bit absurd for printing a single sheet. I was referred to a sign that stated usage; while I understand the sign was there and paid the person who I assumed is the owner, made a snarky comment and said to the cashier, "You know we should charge like other UPS stores and do $3 for computer usage." It was a single page, you seem to determine your own pricing. Charging $1.17 and making comments afterwards is not only egregiously expensive, but also horrendous customer service. read more

This place is horrible ... I got an item from amazon and the box was damaged and opened I came here to return it because ups delivered it... The older man, Ellis, is so extremely rude. He has such an attitude for no reason at all and will take it out on you! The other workers are much nicer, so if you need to go to this location make sure you avoid this nasty man at all costs! He didn't let me pay by card and then when I paid with the money I had on hand he didn't even give me back my change. Which I don't even care about the change, but it's the principal! January 2021 till today, I've had many packages lost in transit, items stolen but delivered in a empty box, receipt with missing tracking numbers etc. I wonder where the two nice older man/woman is from last year. I'm not sure why so many negative reviews. I always get friendly and efficient service at the rego park location. The forest hills location is also friendly and pleasant BUT they always seem to charge exorbitant pack and ship fees, like small items for a box and pack and ship will cost anywhere from 10 - $15 more, so I only come to Rego Park location now. read more

For me this is my experience based on the 45 seconds that I was there for. I had a package, the label was on the box and the package was ready to send out. It was just to big for the drop off boxes. I went in and said hello, and there was a huge cloud of something in the air, it smelled like dryer sheets or chalk. Either way it was not a smell that I could inhale. Other than that, i showed the guy it was a package I set up already, I just need to have someone pick it up. He said okay, with his partially toothless smile and took my package. Efficient workers. Came here a few times for returns. I always see the same older gentleman, who has a very stoic, sometimes grumpy expression. He does offer a nod of acknowledgment when you say thank you and such. I often see a woman there, and she is friendlier. Not super friendly or bubbly, but considering they deal with people who are confused, asked repetitive questions, have poor English skills, it's easy to see how they could get frustrated and lose their patience. Had to send a package, and since it's around the holidays there were quite a few people in there -- a line had formed. I appreciated that the woman was aware of the line, and actually asked if I was next (she wasn't sure who was there, me or the other women behind me). She helped me quickly, getting my info, and having a label printed. The whole thing took minutes, and I had my receipt and tracking number. The inside of the store was warm, well lit, organized, and clean. Saw plenty of boxes and envelopes on shelves, desktop computer stations (2-3), instructions on the walls for passports, a large copy machine, and a stand to write on. read more

Went into this store to inquire about shipping a tube packaging (poster) weighing 4oz and the clerk gave me a quote for $25 UPS ground. Then he suggested I purchase their supply, a tube box for $5 because the box will be approved for less shipping cost. Total with supply box and shipping came out to $10 and change. I headed over to another postal service center and successfully shipped package for $2.85 instead. Shippers, please be aware of what is a reasonable shipping cost for your packages. read more

They've stayed open through the pandemic but with reduced hours. Masks required. A sign says max of 4 customers at a time inside but there are sometimes more. Long line outside. Go somewhere else if you don't want to wait 15 minutes. Otherwise fairly normal. read more
