I recently went on vacation to New York and I had to ship some souvenirs back to California because they didn't fit in my suitcase. The older man, Peter, who works there was able to pack my 3 glass vases and 1 painting and insure it as well. The whole service was easy and took about 10 minutes for me to get a receipt and walk out the door. They arrived a week later without a single scratch and I am super happy with the service. Customer service isn't great and the price for printing is fairly expensive. The signage states that there is a $1.00 charge for 15mins of computer usage. If you need to print for 5 seconds, you have no choice but to use the computer. So there is an automatic $1.00 charge to print. The money isn't the issue, this just seems antiquated compared to other "pay for print" services. read more

Its a UPS store, how much can one expect? Well its about a billion times better than the Rego Park US Post Office there. The staff have always been helpful, I usually come in early on weekends or the occasional weekday and never have had an issue. I recently stopped by after work to send out a gift for my grandmother. Rather than using shipping from my town in Westchester, I took a shot with this place and I was not disappointed. The whole process was quick and easy and the staff was courteous and friendly. Not enough time has allotted for her to receive my package yet, but I have no doubt that I left it in good hands. Always had great service with my drop offs at this location, usually in and out in under a minute. But with the recent pandemic/social distancing rules, has been a little slower, but that's understandable (and everywhere else is enforcing similar rules). As long as you have your package taped up, labeled up and ready to go BEFORE you get on line, you shouldn't experience any problems...they scan the package and give you your receipt and you're done. Just don't bring your stuff in unpackaged and expect everyone (including the people behind you on line) to be happy about it. read more

I usually do not have any problems. I ship products to doctors at least twice a month and spend a lot of money here. One time the package was stolen from an apartment building . There was nothing UPS could do, which I understand but they should've given me back the money for my shipping cost. They didn't even offer. it was like "oh well." No accountability. When was it OK for companies to not help their clients out? I will definitely spend the extra couple of dollars for the signature required. Sometimes customer service means making the customer feel at ease in your establishment, not just taking a drop-off and shipping it. Next time a customer greets you try to smile or greet them back, don't ignore what is being said to you. Better yet, you are taking their money so try to greet them BEFOREHAND. The store is ok, if you don't need ask for any help. But there is an old guy in this UPS store very unfriendly and skimpy. Don't expect any quality service from him. Instead, even asking a small favor will turn his face cold. Once I dropped off a package. I had the bar code printed out at home and asked him for an address pouch, which they can get for free from UPS. The old guy said he doesn't know what that is. Seriously?! So I asked if I could borrow your tape to stick the paper to the box. He gave me this face full of hatred and said, you don't borrow my tape but use it, and I will only let you use it for one last time. Ok... It sounds like I have done it many times, right? In fact, that was the first time I asked for that. Just so people know how they treat the customers who only drop off rather than hiring them to perform service. If I was you, I would steer away. Awful customer service. Because I arrived 20 minutes before closing, the guy behind the counter started complaining. He told me he would charge me $1 to apply clear packing tape to two packages that didn't need much. I come into this location all the time, and when I told him this, he told me he'd never seen me before. Seriously?? No loyalty to regular customers, complains when customers come in when OPEN, even if it is 20 minutes before close, and can't go even an inch to help a customer out. read more

Worst Costumer Service EVER! I went to that "store" to send a package. the manager told me that he's going to write everything I was going to send, Two of them were baby clothes (with the price on it ) and chocolates. A week later I received a message that my package was going to be returned because of the chocolates. When I got my package I went back to the "store" and they romeved. I send it again, and they returned BACK AGAIN, now because of the baby Clothes. when I went to speak with them about it, they just said it's not our responsibility because "I" should of known that I can't send clothes or chocolates. Came here to drop off a package with a prepaid shipping label with the right amount of weight that the was supposed to be in the package. The old guy with the glasses surreptitiously put a stapler on top of my package while weighing it on his scale, so I would end up having to pay more for the extra weight. Disappointed in the service here. In comparison to Five Star Printing and Copy Center just down the block on Queens BLVD, UPS hits bare minimum as far as service standards. I always ship Fed Ex, but the few times I have to ship UPS going forward this won't be my destination. Im just not clear on if it's the older gentleman's general lack of caring for his profession, or he genuinely doesn't recognize that he runs a local business. I'm usually never one to write reviews, but I must warn people about the UPS STORE REGO PARK location. The owner who is an old man with broken English and his staff a short young guy are the rudest, most nastiest, horrible, disgusting, and unprofessional people I have ever encountered in the service industry by far. I kid you not. I live in the neighborhood and always come in printing labels and dropping off packages etc.. Anytime I need help, anytime I have a question the owner of the franchise always acts as if his doing me a favor making snarky remarks and showing the worst attitude. Not to mention they are crooks.I'll get to that soon. But since it's near my house I always came did my business and never paid too much attention. But what's really the icing on the cake is when I came in to print 4 labels and drop off 3 packages. Which they always give me a hard time for. Which is ironic cause I'm bringing money and business to them, not the other way around. Anyways the little short guy that works there took my packages and labels as I was sorting them out I told him are you sure you put it right his he told me dont worry I know what I'm doing .. Obviously he didn't since the next day one of the packages was sent back to me .. And God knows where the other 2 are .. The tracking shows the information about them is unavailable. Apparently the guy who said he knows what his doing put the label in the back not covering or putting it on top of the previous label hence why it was sent back to me .. I call them immediately and the young man tells me to come in, i went and I see the old rude guy the owner and I proceeded to explain to him what had happened. He ignored any concerns any questions I had and pretended I wasn't there only stating that it's not his problem regarding my other two packages being lost.... Anyways I called the merchant and they sent me another label I printed it at the ups store they charged me for one label the same amount they did the day before for four labels crooks! I paid double for that guys mistake.which they should've accommodated me. Anyways little short guy told me he wouldn't tape the package for me and I would have to buy a new box.. So I went back home tapped it myself and came back once again like a dog. I really wasn't looking for faults but at least some consideration some apology no these sociopaths turned everything on me. the obnoxious owner started going crazy saying I told you not to tape it buy a new one .. Why should I buy a new one when this one was in perfectly good condition. He said I refuse to take this. All those previous times I had brought the orginal boxes that the merchant has send me and they always took it. I was standing there like a moran asking calmly so are going to take my package he refused started screaming and going crazy for the whole store, so I left. And I will never ever come back here not if you paid me. There are plently of other ups stores. I filed a complained about this location and ups told me he had no right to deny my package and they will proceed with this issue. Opening up an investigation. Packages from this location constantly go "mysteriously" missing. These people are crooks liars. What business do you have owning this store of you can't be a decent human being. I'm not the only one who feels this way all the other reviews seem to agree. I will for sure be taking my business somewhere else never again!! Before today I didn't have any opinion towards this place, today I went there to pick up a package. The older guy at the counter asked my name, I answered. I'm Chinese. I have a Chinese name. The guy looked at me really confused and showed me a piece of paper with people's name on it. I pointed out my name and showed him my ID. The guy said you just told me a different name, you need to speak English otherwise I can't understand you. Excuse me? I'm sorry that I told you how to prononce my name correctly. Then this other guy came. He was younger. He didn't look Chinese but he spoke some Chinese. This guy came in and basically said to me in Chinese "pretty girl, you need to speak English". Now I have to say this experience made me very uncomfortable and I don't think I will be going in there ever again. UPS, if you are reading this, it's really not nice to say things like this to someone just because his or her name isn't English and also don't call your customer pretty girl. There are usually no lines and the staff are friendly and work very quickly. I recommend to all my friends in the area to use this specific store and they say nothing but good things about it! Love this store. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon and therefore do a lot of returning as well. This store is friendly and ships my packages within a timely manner. I like that they give you a receipt with a tracking number on it. I recently emailed them about resume printing. I received a response super fast and within an hour of my first email my resume was printed and they did 25 copies as well for about $7 and change for a 2 page resume. I'm in and out of there super quick. Nothing bad to say about this place. read more

I do not understand how anyone could give this UPS store a negative rating. I have been coming to this store for YEARS and have only been treated with the utmost courtesy. The owners are the nicest people and have always gone out of their way to make sure that my packages were wrapped properly and always added that " little piece of tape" for me. I was in the store this morning , Monday, February 26th when this man came in - he was all over the place. He had the owner put his letter in a clear plastic pouch so that is did not get "dirty" when it was shipped. Turns out he has posted negative comments on Yelp about this store. Went there to print out some copies, both color and black&white... The color copies came out blurry, so the younger person offered to try again. I waited about 15 minutes and just when he was going to try again the other person said I already tried and it did not work lets not waste any more ink...I used the computer maybe for 10 minutes and was changed for 30 minutes and was told "it looks like you do not want to pay at all... WOW Not a big deal as it is not a lot of money, the point is that the customer service was so poor that I would never go back there again. Avoid like the plague! I called in the store 2 weeks prior to taking a musical instrument to be shipped. Called the week prior, then the day of to be assured they had the right box. I get there about and hour later and they don't have the box they assured me I needed. Then told me they wouldn't have it for months. I got a bit nervous, he offered to put my violin in a guitar box but it's way too big, he then reassured me he'd "tailor" the box to be smaller and accommodate my violin which only weight 7lbs. It's now 1/2 way across the country and I got emailed with an overcharge fee of almost $40. The package is twice as big as it should be and weighs almost 40lbs. Currently disputing the charge with UPS since I was told Pack and ship cost $25 along with postage that wouldn't cost me no more than $22. Not sure how about $50 of shipping went all the way up to $100. Stay away huge shipping SCAM, I should've known better when he told me to leave my violin with him AFTER I paid so he could "pack it in the back". Save yourself time effort and money by going elsewhere. read more

Have recently used this UPS store a lot to ship multiple items I had to a charity I know in PA. I found everyone in the store to be extremely helpful. It is a bit more expensive than using USPS but the post office in my neighborhood is a long walk from where I am and the lines there are always long. If there was a an option to put 0 stars I would totally do it, my experience there was worst. All I need it to return a package for amazon, but I need it some tape to close a (15x30cm) bag and attach the label, Yes I should it done it home, but last time I have to return something for Amazon in The Fedex store they offer me to even print out my package label and help me out taping in it, But it was totally different story in this UPS store. I told the guy by the register if I can get some tape I was willing to do it myself but he start doing it. He taped the label in such a bad manner and when he was done, he said to me "NEXT TIME COME PREPARED" as he would it spent a lot of time taping the label. I said what did you said and he repeat with a bad attitude "NEXT TIME COME PREPARED 'CAUSE THIS TAKES TIME AND IF THERE WERE CUSTOMERS WAITING THIS WILL TAKE LONGER" no one was in the store no one, I didn't expected this kind of actitude from this guy. He should just give the tape and would it done myself. I left the store without drop off in my package because he didn't have to talk to me like that I rather go somewhere else, because this store doesn't offer what it says on there website (** Store offering shipping, packaging, printing & other services, plus office supplies.**) I will never come back!! Great customer service!! They packed one box of odd-sized items for us and did a fabulous job -- everything arrived in perfect condition. We had packed several boxes ourselves which we shipped via UPS and we had a problem with one of the boxes (it was severely damaged by UPS). UPS store is a franchise and when you ship through them they put through the damage claim with UPS on your behalf. This particular UPS store staff went above and beyond to make sure that my claim was resolved in my favor quickly. They are awesome!! Highly recommend them! read more
