After reading the reviews of other customers for this location ,I am not surprised if they gave one…read morestar. If there is a zero, I will give it. This review is a bit longer but I took time to write this. I am hoping Management will do something.
The staff working for today , July 24, 2026, who was named Franco (as what he gave me, I dont know if that is his real name or he just gave me an alias) is rude, liar, no costumer service skills and needs training on how to deal and talk to customers. First, I went the day before (Thursday) and asked for the notary public person availability , he is the one on the counter (Franco) and he told me that the person will be there by 9am-11am on Friday. He said the notary person will leave by 11 am. So the next day, (Friday) I went there past 10 am. I saw and approached him (Franco) in the counter and told him I needed a document to be notarized. Moreover, I told him that I spoke to him the day before. He told us, (there is another person who needed the service) and pointed to the side of the store where there is a small area for doing such. Obviously, with the small area, the two of us can`t fit doing the signing at the same time. Since he previously mentioned the day before that the person will only be there until 11am, (it was past 10:40 am), I went to find another area which i can use for signing.I dont want to miss the chance of letting the person sign, for by 11 am, he will leave. When the other person I am waiting came (needs two person on the document) to sign with me, I went to look for an area again nearest to me where we can do it. He directed us again to go back to that same area where he pointed before. He said this in a rude way. He did not explain to us previously that the area he had pointed is the ONLY allowed place to sign (he said it has to be in camera). Instead of signing in front of the Notary public person , which what is itself stated in the notary document . Furthermore, I noticed, there is no other person in the UPS store as a staff. He is alone the whole time, and I saw he signed the notary document of another person. To be certain, I asked him if the person signing the notary is him, He replied "yes". He lied because the day before , He told me the person will be there by 9-11Am, only to find out that the same person he is talking about, is HIMSELF.
Then when I told him , I need a notary that will be accepted for an Apostille , ( there should be wordings near in his stamp signature that says "appeared, sworn and signed in front of me", otherwise Apostille office would send back the papers to the notary person who signed. This happened to me before and would be inconvenient for me to go back to the store just for that , so I made it clear to him about it. He kept on insisting and answered repeatedly "we dont do it here". I explained to him what I meant - several times , even rephrasing my words , but still , he did not understand. He thought I want an Apostille from him. In the end, he sent us away and told us to have it done in other notary public office. He is so unprofessional. Instead of listening, he refused to do his work. The type of personality he has does not belong in the counter for this type of job. Management needs to step up and do something to make the experience of customers, pleasant . Nobody should be treated like this. Nobody needs an additional stress for this encounter. If he has an issue within him, he needs to take a vacation and come back ready to do the job with an attitude different than what he is showing to people who chose to use the service the store is offering.
