*Note: visit during COVID-19 pandemic. I had recently purchased an item on Amazon and unfortunately, it wasn't what I was looking for so I had to return it. One of the return options that Amazon offers is to drop it off in-store at a UPS location which is so, so easy that unless you can't find the store, you really can't mess it up. - Parking - Center lot. It is located in the strip mall across the street, beside Kroger on Exchange street. - Service - I was in and out within minutes. Honestly, I think it took me longer to park and get out of the car. I noticed the signs on their doors before entering. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are limiting the capacity in the store to 4 people at one time. There was only one customer inside already at the counter so I proceeded to enter. There were two staff members present and one of the staff members called me up to her cash. I told her I had a return for Amazon, set my item on the counter and showed her the QR code that Amazon had sent me via email. She scanned the code, took the item, gave me a receipt and told me I was good to go. She was so nice and efficient. I didn't have to prep the item, no box and no packaging. I couldn't believe how easy it was. I usually only buy things online that I have purchased before or after gaining enough confidence to add it to my cart after reading other reviews, but after having gone through my first return experience with UPS, I am definitely going to purchase with less hesitation haha! They offer other services like mailboxes, photocopies, greeting cards and packing supplies and I'm sure many others, so you'll just have to call or take a look yourself. I know when I need to return something from Amazon, I will choose the in-store option and go to this location again. There is a women that works in there and her odor is putrid. It literally angers me just walking through the door. She has to know she smells. It stinks up the entire establishment and it's just AWFUL! If you don't want to wear deodorant, fine but there is glycolic acid, witch hazel, apple cider vinegar and Aztec clay masks, salt rock, SO MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO TO NOT STINK! I HOPE she sees this because it's bad. I feel bad for the workers that have to just work with her and not say anything. You should not be allowed to work on an establishment and torture everyone that comes in contact with you in the process. She just stinks so bad. The most putrid disgusting smell you can possibly imagine. She's gotta know she STINKS! Fix it lady! Day is RUINED every time I leave here and I instantly get a headache from her FUNK! Aside from this lines are always long and they charge for literally everything that other UPS stores don't charge for. I had a project that needed reworked from another company, it was bad. Reggie Knowles not only exceeded my expectations, not only with the end product but he also accomplished it before the deadline! The next day!! Not only was it a superior product, where it counts was the money and the cost was far better than the big store competition. It was a heavy lift, certain parameters had to be met, and it was laminated and spiraled. Excellent job Sir! It's good to see customer service is not gone at the Richmond Hill UPS Store. Worst IPS location ever and everyone working here seams to be as incompetent as one can be. Customer service is not existent at all. On top of it all they don't even have WiFi for downloading Amazon returns. It's like a trap to get as much money out of your pocket as they can get. Their suggestion is to email them the email from Amazon and they will print it for you and charge you $2.75 on something that should be free. I am beyond unsatisfied of this establishment and the attitude of the employees working here. Beyond rude and incompetent. Not realizing that we the customers are who aid them with a paycheck. Never go here if you can prevent it or like to be treated really bad. read more

I just watched a elderly lady wait in line for at least 15 minutes to get something notarized. Then when the lady asked the notary to come up she very rudely said that she was on break when all she was doing is looking at her phone. I mean come on you can't come up and sign something really quick? What a lazy worker she doesn't deserve her job. Lady even asked very nicely if there was any way she could take a second and do it. Whoever is the notary working today management needs to have a talk with her. read more

I just had to drop off a return from amazon. I walked in with the box and there printed off return slip. A gentlemen came out took box said let me get you a receipt, which he promptly did. I asked if I needed to do anything else he said no. I had brought tape to close up the box and he said don't worry I got it. Brief experience but pleasant and hopefully the same experience I get in the future. read more

I rarely write a review. If service is poor I just do not go back to that establishment. The experience today at the UPS Store in Richmond Hill, GA was so poor and frustrating that it warrants a review. We were returning a package to Target and Target provided a label for return. Instructions stated to drop off at the UPS Store. Based upon advertising by the company they claim to provide business and consumer services, which include shipping and packaging. The employee at the counter was immediately unconcerned, even annoyed, at the size and condition of the packages. Refusing to provide further assistance. He proceeded to argue with us about the return policy. Was condescending in how he spoke to my wife and me. Despite having a printed label he said he could not ship the packages and was not liable. There was no interest in wanting to help resolve the issue and/or offer up a solution. The only thing that was apparent was that he was bothered by having to handle the oversized packages. He was smug. Argumentative. The essence of customer service and living up to the services promised by UPS (as advertised) is not what was delivered at this location. As a Global Supply Chain executive who is very familiar with policies and procedures, especially related to return policies, this ranks amongst the worst service I have personally received. If I was the owner of this store, I would be embarrassed by the performance of this particular employee. Clearly, customer service is not part of the fabric of this location nor is going above and beyond to ensure customers are satisfied is not a priority. My wife was so appalled that she sent an email immediately to Target. customer service summarizing the frustrating experience. She too posted a complaint on another review site. Unfortunately, there are certain eCommerce companies and retailers who require you to use UPS, but I would not recommend the UPS Store in Richmond Hill, GA. They lack superior customer services, their prices are inflated, and their efficiency in dealing with customers is another pain point. Multiple customers had to wait for an extended time; especially due to the rudeness and ineffectiveness of this one employee. This ranks amongst one of the worst experiences I have had in recent times. A reminder that not everyone cares about their job, the customer they serve, and the responsibility they have to the vision and values of the organization they represent. If you have other options for shipping or processing returns, I suggest exploring them versus being forced to visit this store. read more

I've come here before, and felt completely satisfied with service. Today, however, I was returning an Amazon item and when I entered the store, there were two men working. One, the taller man, was wearing a mask correctly (covering his mouth and nose) but the man that waited on me had his nose completely exposed. When there is a pandemic, I think that anyone serving the public should be wearing a mask properly if they value their job. read more

Just received phenomenal customer service from this location shortly before closing on Friday, 10/15/21. I believe the rep who helped us was named Alaina, but both women working were incredibly nice, personable, and helpful. I rarely got on to Yelp but because I witnessed an appalling scene involving an irate customer who threw a hissy fit like a 5 year old with threats to report to the CEO of UPS, I decided to look and yup Robert O posted. We watched this entire temper tantrum and I was so impressed by the courteous and professional attitude the UPS rep maintained, even through the package throwing, the screaming and phone taping wife, the swearing, the out of control rage by this guy. The rep stayed calm, tried repeatedly to explain why 3 packages (a trampoline apparently) could not be shipped with one return label, and tried to obviously the best of his ability to serve this raging out of control couple. Clearly these people are used to getting their own way, and unfortunately, being angry does not make you right. So I'm here to rebut this review and say, by all means support this local business. On a personal level, they were very helpful to us as we needed a notary and were helpful and friendly which, after the tirade we witnessed, was a relief. read more

This store did not properly secure my envelope which contained copies of birth certificates for my minor children and other personable identifiable information for my entire household (ss#, birthdates, drivers license #, address, phone numbers, etc) to accompany a government document. As a result, the intended recipient of the documents only received the envelope. I noticed the envelope was not properly sealed and the cashier -Steven said he would add tape. The owner informed me the clerk who assisted me left the envelopes on the counter for the next day. On the next day, the manager says they look sealed - adds postage to all envelopes and sends them off. The owner says they are not responsible for what happens after it leaves the store and did not offer an apology. read more

using the UPS website, I placed an order to have some document sprinted for an HOA mailing; 130 sets of 5 pages each. As I placed the order, the UPS website offered the option to have the sets of 5 pages folded. Sensing a time savings, I agreed to the additional service for a price of $39 extra. I received 750 pages, each page was individually folded. The General Manager of this Store chose to do it that way. Seriously? Now we have to unfold each page in order to combine the 5 pages into a set before mailing. $39 down the drain - and neither this UPS Store, the UPS website nor UPS customer service care about the issue. Common sense apparently doesn't matter at this Store. They're good at copying but don't count on this Store to do anything more complicated for you. read more

Customer service over the phone was horrible. Could have done a lot better. Just needed to confirm if package was coming to store or to my home, and I had to call back just to get a complete answer. Also, might want to use the hold button when you want to put the phone down next time as well. read more
