First let me start off by explaining that 2 weeks ago I came to this UPS to have a parcel shipped, the shipping was already paid for but I needed to pay for the new box and packing for about a 2 foot by 1foot by 4 inch parcel. This was about $27, which I gladly paid. The gal at the counter was super nice and we started chit chatting I pointed out my puppy sitting in my car, and she emphatically said bring him in, they loved dogs and had cookies. I asked her if she was sure because he has a ton of energy and being an Aussie Shepherd he sheds. No problem she said, so I brought him in he got his cookies met a few customers and that was that. Until today. I went there to drop off a Amazon return. There were two people ahead of me in line who were interested and talking to me about him. He was VERY excited to be in the store, and dropped some hair on the carpet from his leash, which I had not noticed. Now my turn I approach the counter and all I can say is this young 20 something girl was not happy about my dog, she was trying to be passive aggressive, but she was just AGGRESSIVE AGGRESSIVE. Gave me such an look and attitude I was stunned. She told me they wouldn't take the original box, I said I had no need for it and she told me they had no room in the back...ok no worries. I grabbed the box and then she asked my to pick up the hair from the floor, wait what? Then she told me she guessed that she could vacuum it up. I let her know at that point I would pick it up, but that there were plenty of other UPS stores. As I bent down and picked up the hair, another customer looked at me a bit stunned I let that customer know my previous experience. The the girl told me to get out of there store. I said gladly and I would never be back There were a million other ways to communicate than the route she took. Passive aggressivness in a service environment is BS. read more

I love this UPS store. I go here often for most of my mail needs such as shipping stamps and dropping off pre-paid USPS mail, etc. since they are my local store that is very close to my house. The service is always friendly and officiant and if you don't need you package to arrive ASAP the prices are comparable to the regular post office. There is never a long line even during the holidays bc this store is in a smaller area of town kind of on the outskirts I guess you can say. There's plenty of parking bc it's in a big shopping center with a grocery Walmart, Starbucks, Sees Candy to mention a few well known businesses. read more

I frequent this location a lot and I enjoy dealing with their staff. They are helpful, friendly and very quick. Other reviews or comments may not agree when it comes to their promptness of service, but what they don't usually take into account is, it's not always the employees you see that are to blame for this. I believe this is mostly due to a lack of staffing or the scheduling of them. Not to mention the other issue, that being the customers that these employees have to deal with. You know the ones that don't have their stuff together or just flat out have a less than amiable attitude. Anyways, this is my favorite UPS store. And it does just happen to work out that it is the closest to me. read more

Mailed a package from California to Illinois. The worker stated it would be delivered in two days so I agreed. Spent $56.00 for delivery only to have my package sit in Oakland for two days and now the delivery window has changed instead of Friday to Monday. No refund given horrible customer service. Service was perfect and expeditious. Drop off my packages. Many quality packing materials and other items you can purchase at a fair cost. You will find this establishment offers excellent materials for a fair price. Ample parking that offers handicap parking and wheelchair access to its doors. read more

I was happily surprised by the efficiency and options for mailing by UPS. The customer service agent was helpful and friendly. I have been to this location on many occasions and she is calm even when the line is to the door. I imagine it will be out the door at the holidays. They have copy machines, they mail and ship via all sorts of options, they have packaging for different needs etc. My friend left her phone charger at my house and I sent it to her today. She lives 1.5 to 2 hours from us. She found me the best option via, USPS for $6.00. I will definitely return. Though, I hope there are more agents in the coming months. Maybe I was just early and they have additional help later in the day. read more

Today I was in arrived 5:50 pm at store, Kelsey printed me 2 paper and he had been charging $3.87 but I told him I just paid before 3 times 2 paper print for $0.87 he said me "you don't need to pay go out from here " he should supposed to be Nicely explain about charges but he didn't and around 6 pm he said me " go out from the store we are closed 6 pm I'm going to call the police " i never seen before like that it was terrible &bitter experience my whole life ,what's a rude guy how to quality customer service job??? read more

Terrible customer service by the older lady running it. Had very little interest in helping me and then when her machines weren't working with my flash drive just gave a half hearted "sorry. Bye." The UPS store on Santa Rosa Ave has amazing customer service and I've never had a single issue going there with the exact same thing I tried to do here. Worst UPS store ever! I can see from the other reviews we are all experiencing this. Not only do they have atrocious customer service, they literally make up their hours every day. I can't tell you how many times I have driven all the way to their location for a simple shipment and they have a homemade sign on the door that says they closed early. Who does this?! Perhaps some of the overprivileged, whining Karens leaving bad reviews for this location should try working in a UPS store for a week, and see how well they fare against COVID employee shortages, holiday shipping rushes, and customers who think they know everything... ...all while making minimum wage. I went by the store this afternoon and once AGAIN the sign said they closed early due to lack of staff. This is happening a lot at this Golf Course Dr. location. Whoever is in charge of this store needs to get those employees more help. Sometimes the store doesn't even open due to lack of staff to open it. This has gone on too long. Either get those nice folks who do come to work some help or transfer them to the Commerce Blvd. store and CLOSE this store on Golf Course Drive! I'm not mad at the staff (they're kinda cool). However, the crash test dummy manager who is supposed to address these issues needs to be shown the door. read more

This is the worse ups store I have ever been too! The customer service here is beyond horrible Joe\john ( name tag says joe but believe his real name is John ) is extremely rude and condescending. I came in to return some packages and he was so rude he acted as if I was bothering him and didn't want my business. When I asked for his managers contact information he laughed and said it was his wife. WOW so no accountability for bad behavior!!! I will NOT be using this location again I'll gladly take my business else where. read more

This is about the worst UPS location I've used (which is unfortunate since it's less than a mile from my house). There's absolutely no management here, and it's made worse by the constant staff turnover. I don't think most of their employees last more than a couple of days, and boy does it show. They also went the entire holiday season, with the pandemic in full swing, letting about 93 people at a time stand in their little lobby, and only recently did they put up a sign (which some people are ignoring) that states only three customers should be inside at once. Other experiences to look forward to: waiting in line almost longer than it would take to walk your package to its destination, and the always popular rude-customer maneuver of someone claiming they "only have a question" while they work their way to the counter to be waited on before you are. I'm sure it'll come as no surprise that I'm now using FedEx and the USPS as much as possible. read more

I am not sure what all the bad reviews are going on about. I've used this UPS for years and have never had a single bad experience. Everyone who has worked there has been helpful, professional and friendly. I agree there has seemed to be a fair amount of turnover in the last few years which makes me wonder about how employees are trained and valued. Only came here because the UPS Store near Safeway was having computer problems. Tried to mail a ukulele on Friday and was promised it would arrive the following Tuesday. Well, it didn't ship till Wednesday. The clerk said it didn't ship because they didn't have a box to fit it. Didn't have a box to fit it? Come on!!!. Make a box to fit or use the next size up. It's pretty simple. Honor your promises or hire clerks who can. Lots of conscientious folks looking for work right now. Of course, not shipping till a day after the promised delivery date was bad. Not offering a refund, a free upgrade to P1, nor an apology really showed their customer service levels, and was what prompted this review. read more

UPS charged $5 to FAX one page, printed on both sides, within the US, a TOTAL RIP-OFF! Details: At 10 AM on a rainy weekday, there was a long line in the store, partly because the one-person staff is not very efficient. I wanted to FAX one standard form, which took 1 page, from my flash drive. It turns out that UPS needed to print it first (why can't a FAX be sent directly from the computer in the year 2019, in the most technologically-advanced country in the world?). When printing the one page form with whatever formatting options UPS has, it ended up with 2 pages. UPS charged me $2 for the use of their computer to access the form on the flash drive, and $1.50 for each page FAX-ed, for a total of $5. This is a TOTAL RIP-OFF! Oh, and by the way, the UPS computer in store IS NOT SECURE! I could clearly see all the information that previous customers printed, because the computer is not password protected and absolutely everything was clearly accessible. The UPS email account was also available, with all the customer documents laid out in the open. In fact the previous 2 customer printouts were already open and displayed at the time I used the computer. read more

This is the worst costumer service I have EVER received from a place of business. To make matters worst it was by the supervisor, John. I'm all about supporting our local business in Rohnert Park but not from an arrogant, miserable, old man that believes its ok to treat people with such disrespect. If it was my husband, who is white and a man that came in, I truely believe he would have gotten a different experience. I believe John doesn't like women that can stand up for themselves especially if they come from a multiracial background. I wanted to let the manager of the store know my experience with John but unfortunately it was his wife, Charlene that managed the place. I had the same experience as John O. today. I have been to this location numerous times and the young man working there is very polite and helpful. The older man however, who I suspect is the owner, is NOT. I won't be returning and I plan on contacting UPS with a complaint. I had 3 packages to drop off. They were already pre-labeled/pre-paid for. I have been taking packages like this into various UPS Stores for several years now and I am ALWAYS asked if I would like a receipt. The receipt is proof that you dropped your packages off at that location in case they end up lost. IT ALSO SAYS THAT THIS IS THE PURPOSE RIGHT ON THE RECEIPT. Today I had to ask for a receipt because it was obvious the man working today wasn't planning on asking me if I wanted one. He scoffed at me and in a very condescending tone, said, "Well OK but you already have a receipt right there" while pointing to my packages. I said that I needed proof that I dropped it off at this location and again, got the same bad, cranky attitude and a "OK fine" while he finished with another customer. I just walked out. I should have taken my packages to another location but it was hot today, they were heavy and I had someone waiting for me in the car. I do see that they have made it to the Petaluma facility so I know they are on their way. No one needs to tolerate being treated that way and I don't have time for this sort of ignorance. Either change your attitude, sir, and educate yourself or maybe it's time for you to retire. read more

I've lived on this side of town for 3 years and never knew it was here until earlier this year. Owner is super friendly. He has helped me out a few times. Also, he's a notary. The store is also an AT&T drop off point, so if you need to return your cable equipment you can drop and ship here. The owner is very thorough when he packs and ships items. I really appreciated his consideration. It is great because it is right around the corner from my house. The location is tucked back behind the credit union, but well worth taking the minute to find it. read more

I rented a box here because of all the reports of stolen packages etc. I received an overnight package and was there within 1 hour to retrieve said package and what do you know???? I'd give it no stars if it would let me. The young lady who is often the only worker in there is one of the rudest, laziest, & displeasing people I've ever come to experience. I've gone there many times because it's the one closest to me & every single time she says "I don't know how to do that". Then I have to go to the other store. She doesn't know how to ring up a box to ship? That's the main part of the job. All of the other locations have the total up before I can even pull my wallet out. So there really is no excuse, I'm not having anything fancy done, nothing. She huffs, groans, rolls her eyes at customers she doesn't want to help, I've seen her do it to others & she's done it to me. The only time I've seen her be lively at work is when her phone chimed. Really sad to have such an unmotivated young lady working there. I've brought it up to the other store that I always then have to go to after she tells me "I don't know how to do that". & the workers there say a lot of people have come to them from her location because she wouldn't help them & it's just ringing up a box to ship. I'm not sure if she's really being honest about not knowing how to do any part of her job or if she really just doesn't want to do what she's paid to do. I love this place: whenever I go there I'm totally stressed out, needing to print something off my email, have it notarized, and then sent somewhere ASAP. I recently bought 2 properties so I was at UPS a lot! They are so calm and reassuring, helping me thru whatever drama I have going on. They are kind, respectful, AND efficient... When we moved to town six months ago, we were worried because the two UPS stores in town both had awful Yelp reviews! We ultimately went with the one closest to us and have been completely satisfied in every way! There is no sign of the (former?) store owner whom people complained of in the past. I have been assisted by just three regulars, who are very friendly and competent. We get prompt email reminders if we have a package, they know us now, and they are always super quick and helpful. Thankfully we didn't pick a store that was farther away and took a chance. We just renewed again, very happy with this location!! read more

The young man who works there is great but the old guy is totally disrespectful. I have dealt with him numerous times and constantly get laughed at for requesting a receipt for my package drop off. This last time was enough and I let him know I didn't appreciate it. It is my prerogative to ask for a receipt. How do I prove that package has been entered into their system. He thinks the tracking number is enough but if a business doesn't scan it there is no proof it was dropped off. A receipt is for my security and I don't deserved to be laughed at for protecting myself. read more
