Dropping off a couple shirts I ordered online from a 3rd party. I explained that I washed the shirts before wearing them, that's why the tags aren't on. Nage questioned my hygiene habits on why I do that. Why I wash clothes is none of his business. How dare you talk to me like I did something wrong. This is a great store that is being absolutely RUINED by one horrible, miserable employee. I've been doing all kinds of business there for years, from purchasing packing materials, shipping items from my small business, having documents notarized. For over 20 years, it was a great store. Unfortunately, they're now employing an older woman who really needs to be either fired or barred from dealing with customers. And the worse thing about it, she's always there!! My first exchange with her was to have a gift boxed and mailed. Even though it was just some baby clothing for a new parent (is there anything easier to ship than a baby dress and socks?!), she made an absolute ordeal out of it, acting like it was a huge problem, like I was ruining her day just showing up. I assumed anyone could have a bad day, so I let it go. The second experience was part of LandsEnd "Happy Returns" (oxymoron for sure). I was returning an item of clothing that had been worn, but LandsEnd was accepting the return because the item was coming apart after the first wash. Same miserable woman handled my return and proceeded to berate me because I didn't bring it in the original packaging with the original tags. I explained the item was DEFECTIVE, which shouldn't be any of her business!! LandsEnd had already agreed to take it back. I didn't know I'd have an additional Return Critic scrutinizing the merchandise in the process. I had my husband go the third time to return several swimsuits I'd tried but didn't fit. It was another "Happy Returns" (what a joke that phrase is). This time, all items were in the original packaging with all the tags still attached. We even brought them back in the original box they were shipped in. She proceeded to chastise my husband because he was returning "so many items". She was huffy and rude through the whole exchange. Wasn't going to accept the bar scan he came with until another employee of the store corrected her and showed her how to do it. Then as he was walking out, she told him to take the box with him! So what is it? Are we supposed to bring it in the original packaging or not?! Honestly, I don't criticize employees lightly. I know working retail is a hard job. As you can see, it took THREE exchanges with this woman before I finally wrote this review. This woman needs to be either fired or put in the back room and kept away from customers! I walked into this UPS store with a simple task - drop off a sealed UPS package that had already been paid. The mere fact that this minimal requirement has prompted me to write a negative Yelp review is meaningful on its own. When I arrived, there was a rather long line (photo attached). Given that I did not need any customer service, I presumed that I could just drop off the package. After all, this is the "The UPS store", shouldn't it accept "UPS Packages? Nope! This business insisted i must wait in line for 15 minutes simply to hand them a package! I've honestly tried to think why such a policy would exist but I can't think of one. Consider that if I had found a UPS truck, the driver would have cheerfully accepted my package. Yet if this weren't enough, the method in which I discovered this store's policy was hardly a demonstration in customer service. As I was looking for a place to drop off the package, one of the two employees (older white male 55'ish), sourly barked at me, "we don't do drop offs!" I politely asked if he was serious and he elevated his sense of annoyance and then abrasively told me to, "no, you'll have to wait in line like everyone else." Admittedly, the store was busy, maybe he was stressed, but the irritated tone was very off for such a reasonable question. I'm normally an advocate for businesses within walking distance of my home (to illustrate I've given first-rate neighboring businesses five stars including McDonad's, CVS and Little Caesars!). But this UPS Store's idiotic policy combined with the employee's wounded badger charisma makes it a no-brainer. read more

Tim, Celeste, and Kimberly are my go to shippers for my small online business. They are extremely knowledgable and efficient yet still manage to be personable even during "rush times" (noon and just before cut off). I have used many UPS stores in Northern CA and the service here is the best! Recently when I needed to ship a very difficult to wrap item for an important business contact, Tim both wrapped it for me and showed me how to do so myself. One of the other employees told me that people come from miles around to have Tim wrap and ship for them and I can see why: the package was so securely and professionally wrapped that I received a thank you note from the receiving business, commenting on the amazing packaging! I also appreciate their complete transparency in pricing and their efforts to keep costs down, unlike some UPS stores I have visited who charge ( a lot) for an extra piece of tape! Doing business at this UPS in Rohnert Park feels like a partnership. If they don't have a long line of customers to accomodate, they are happy to discuss your needs and give you helpful tips for successful shipping. I was at the UPS store 2/15/22 at 6366 Commerce Blvd Rohnert Park, CA 94928 United States While I was inside dropping packages off, the lady at the counter openly admitted to me that she was NOT vaccinated and was not wearing a mask because "we're supposed to, but whatever I don't care". Today, I had a wonderful experience at the Rohnert Park UPS store located on Commerce, next to Safeway. It was great! I had the help of Jerry, who patiently assisted me in finding my Amazon Return QR code so I could return some Amazon product. Jerry was kind and extremely patient ~ I was very happy to have his help. Also, being as I have a small business I occasionally drop-off boxes for clients who can't pick-up their product from my studio. And, yes, sometimes the line gets long and I lose my patience; however, what I do know is that if I just drop my package off, someone else can just come-in and pick that package up...I'd rather have it behind the counter. Even though I have a pre-paid label, I have to pay for my own envelope, unlike FedEx, they are individually owned and they don't even know what a jogger is (A machine that straightens documents before being sent out). I've been going to the store for at least a couple years. All the employees are friendly and helpful! And I'm always greeted with big smile's! I absolutely give them five stars for Customer Service! But yesterday I met Catie and I must say she is absolutely wonderful!!! I had accidentally printed up the wrong return label for an Amazon purchase, Catie told me how to correct it and of course I did it wrong again, then she showed me how to fix it and printed up a label for me and she put it on and shipped it for me! The entire time smiling laughing! She was an utter delight! I could not have asked for more from this amazing, sweet and incredibly helpful young lady! I think she needs a raise!!! employee of the month!!! employee of the year!!! I want her to be the manager! The district manager! Thank you for being awesome! This place is a total joke and it's management led by Greg Cato leaves much to be desired. I've now been discriminated against and harassed at least four separate times by various employees who cannot process the fact that medical exemptions from wearing masks (medical devices as the FDA classifies them) are not only in the exemption language of the state and county ordinance, but also religious exemptions are protected by multiple federal and state laws and constitutions. Not everyone can wear a mask medically, and since these are medical experiments (Emergency Use Authorization), federal law 21 USC 360 bbb clearly states that EUA procedures require being informed of the right to refuse and den6 consent- aka they cannot be MANDATED. The 1964 Civil Rights Act, The California Constitution and California Civil Code 51(b) makes it unlawful to deny service or discriminate against anyone due to their medical condition and/or religious creed. I'm going to document every time I am harassed, and will use that evidence in my lawsuit that I will be filing. You don't have any right to treat people this way and I will prove this to you Greg, by hitting you where it hurts, in your wallet by winning my lawsuit. Expect paperwork soon. I've spoken with you over the phone 4 times now and the behavior of your employees has not decelerated or changed one bit- which tells me the problem is your leadership. read more

I took 2 items in to return to Amazon. Both of the females there said they could not ship them. Even they I had the code to send them. They refused to give me the managers name and told me to leave. I had everything there on my phone and they refused to read that I did not have to package it up. I usually go to the other location on golf course and have never had a problem. They definitely should not be in customer service if they can't do their job. read more

This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with a UPS Store location on two separate days. On 9/28 around 5:22pm I worked with Kaitlyn to purchases boxes, space to pack/box my devices and purchase additional three bags of bubble wrap instore. After explaining what I needed to accomplish and a few trips back and forth to the car getting everything ready a few minutes into wrapping and taping things she warned me that they would be closing in 30 minutes seemingly irritated. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since it was 30 minutes to close and she was in a air cast (I'd be irritable too). I began prepping my 22 laptops, 6 small desktops and requested two 18x18x18 boxes... she gives me two 16x16x16 boxes and assured me they were the 18s without checking but I pointed out it was not the 18s as it was 16x16x16 printed on the boxes. She removed the 16s and then supplied the 18s then I began to tape the 1st box for my bundles of computers. After my first box was completely packaged, wrapped, she folded the entire shipping label 8x10 paper and taped it to the box then carried it to the back while I was working on the second box hastily in respect of her time and the store closing. After I noticed the 1st box was gone I let her know that I needed pictures of the inside packaging and outside of the boxes w/ view of the shipping labels for insurance purposes. She went back to retrieve the 60bls box from the back making sure to express her annoyance with my presence. After my second box I realized I did not bring enough packing material which I purchased three bags of bubble wrap, mind you these are TERRIBLE quality! After the purchase I still did not have enough bubbles from the $51 UPS stock because the bubbles deflated just from touching and packing into the box (purchase bubble wrap elsewhere). After letting her know how many bags of wrapping sheets I used, in an attempted to pay for them ahead of time to expedite this whole ordeal, since I already had pre-shipped labels already paid for she replied "can't you just pay when you're all done?!." Which I replied "whatever is easiest for you...", you could cut the tension with a butter knife and I was ready to get out of the. After assembling the 2nd box I took my photos and handed her my phone to take a picture of the first box because she was quick to remove it again from the counter all the while another group of ladies came in and were also requesting services past 6:00pm. And another gentleman walks in after 6pm after she thought she had locked the door. At this point I paid for the materials and assumed the receipt included the two boxes being shipped... Today on 9/29 my associate informed me only one box had been scanned and to send the shipping receipt which I did not have as I mentioned the receipt with the $51 charge for bubble wrap. Today I've come back to the store working with another young lady who initially had an attitude after stating my situation of not having receipts for having dropped off the boxes last night. She said NONE of my boxes would have been scanned if I dropped off last night (which is a lie because one box clearly had been scanned). I asked if I dropped off boxes yesterday night how come I don't have a timestamp for yesterday where "she replied I cannot give you a timestamp for yesterday if the boxes were not scanned and I wasn't here," which is my whole point for being here again. We had issue looking at the photos from yesterday, but we retrieved the tracking numbers from emails sent yesterday and tension grew again as the line began to grow. I asked if I could see the boxes and she refused because she had piles of boxes and she was solo as her coworker was on lunch with a line of people. I asked if I could come back and speak to a manager which she replied there wasn't one and only she was on site I took the receipt for the labels and left. I called my associate and he confirmed that the second box had now been scanned in... no UPS associates were on site unless there was a back door to this place. read more

Late September 2018 During a road trip, we needed to ship some heavy clothing home instead of lugging it on the plane for the next part of the journey. This UPS store was easy to access (just off freeway in retail center with lots of parking). The man who helped us was friendly, professional, and speedy. We handed him the items and paid; after we left, he packed the box and shipped it. Great service and all arrived safely 4 days later. I've always feel good coming here to do my photocopying, faxing and package shipping! This used to be a MailBoxes Etc. location and was bought by the The UPS Store. So I've known some of the staff here for many years, like Dawn, very friendly and efficient. It is not a fancy store, in fact none of the UPS Stores I've been to seem as nice as FedEx Office stores (formerly Kinko's). But what I do really like about UPS Stores is that I always feel I'm getting a good deal. UPS Stores are no-frills and get the job done neatly, quickly, inexpensively (relatively) and with a smile! One time I needed to send a large framed oil painting to a girlfriend. I went into a FedEx Office location and it was big, bustling with customers and staff, and kind of big-city-ish. In other words, stressful. There was a wait, the guy who I was asking to describe how he would wrap and package my painting seemed dull and dim. So I left and went to the nearby UPS Store. What - a - difference! The UPS Store was small, quiet, one guy working... but he was very confident, described in detail how he going to wrap, package and send my painting and did it much better and cheaper than FedEx Office said they could do! This is the kind of service I have received at the several UPS Stores I've used. But the one in Rohnert Park is my "home base" one and I have relied on them forever. Review 0074 read more

This review isn't about this store....its about UPS as a whole. We have regular pick up at our company. UPS picked up last week a next day package....but didnt deliver till 3 days later...then after we lost the order....they say they cant refund or even discount from next day to ground? Huh?? Are you joking? No they said...due to unforeseen circumstances..weather ...natural disasters...in this case covid 19....no refund for late delivery. I said we've been doing business for 30 years and u cant do the right thing by crediting us this one nightmare order? They said no. I said this virus started mid march as far as sheltering in place etc.....you knew when u picked the package up on April 7th...and accepted it as next day it probably wasn't going to be on time. If you read through my reviews you will see I RARELY write a bad one but every once in a while I have to. If I could give negative stars I would which makes me sad because I've been here many times and I've had great customer service but not on this day. I needed to send a package on Christmas Eve and looked at their website which said they closed at 6:00 pm. I called to get a quick estimate of how much it would cost. The girl who answered was so rude to me the first thing she said was uh fine I'll check but I have a broken leg and now have to walk on only one. Then she said we are ONLY doing Next Day today and angrily said it's going to be hundreds of dollars to send your package (which actually costed me 12$ at Fed Ex. ) then hastily she said um you know we close in 30 minutes and it was 1:15, I politely said oh I'm sorry your website said you closed at 6:00. Her answer was, "Do you know what day it is! It's Christmas Eve, don't you think we want to be home with our families in the meanest tone I think I've ever heard from a business. I'm a kind person, I'm polite and would never be rude to a customer or someone I was helping in a business setting. She hung up and I started to cry, she made me feel so bad , it really upset me that someone would treat me this way even though I was very kind and polite to her. So whoever you are that works there that currently has a broken leg, I hope it makes you feel good that you made a nice person cry during the season where we are supposed to be more compassionate and caring to people. Last time I'll use your store. Had problems in the past getting email confirmations of a shipment, when using your store, so I specifically stated, first words out of my mouth, that I would need an email notice to include the tracking number. I confirmed that again during the transaction. Got back to office, no email, so I called your store. Was put on hold and then told that it was because the package had not yet been scanned by UPS for pick up, was reassured that the system would then send me an email with the number. Of course it NEVER did. She said "Oh but you have the tracking number on the receipt". I reminded her that I acknowledged that, when I very first came into the store, but that I REALLY needed it in an email to forward, (less time consuming and chance for error). I get an email with tracking number from the other local UPS stores - Fourth Street in Santa Rosa, the one in Sebastopol, with NO problem. Never from you. And their employees have better training. If you can go around the back side of the plaza to the USPS office and wait in line, do that. Customer service here is not friendly and the prices for products and shipment are understandably marked up. I've been in here at least 3 times because I needed to do a simple mailing and each time the staff (one young lady in particular) gives me an attitude. Maybe they don't like working there? Not my problem. At my last visit, I noticed the 'tude wasn't just towards me, but was also dished to another customer ahead of me. Aside from us two customers, the store was empty and not busy. I'm not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out but can you at least fake a smile once in the few minutes we're talking? Every time I come to this store I have excellent service. I especially like to thank the young lady working today. I don't like to show up last minute as I know they are trying to close. However, today I didn't have a choice. Not only was she helpful and professional, she accommodated my shipping efficiently and with a smile. The smile stays with customers long after they leave. I thought UPS provided professional packing services. I was so wrong. I had a box of very old family heirloom Hummels and decided to mail them to my son in Wisconsin. Because I wanted to make sure they arrived safely, I took my box of hummels which I had wrapped only in tissue paper, to the UPS store in Rohnert Park. I told them the Hummels were irreplaceable, and I wanted each one individually and securely wrapped in bubble wrap. The packaging and insurance cost was over $100. As I was paying the clerk, when another clerk started taping shut my little cardboard box of tissue-wrapped hummels. I said, "What are you doing?? Those must be individually repackaged for mailing". The clerk nodded in assent. Then I left. Two weeks later, my son said he received the hummels, but some were broken, chipped and decapitated. They were sent in my original little box with just my tissue paper for protection. No bubble wrap - no nothing. He has pictures of everything. I am heart-broken. I filed the insurance claim for the broken items, which has not been paid. Do not trust this store! I'm going to call Channel 7, Michael Finney, Seven On Your Side to tell my story. read more

This is the worst print and postal store I've been to. The customer service is horrible, as is the general manager Greg Cato. He was extremely rude and far from helpful. Moreover when I asked him if I could speak with the owner he lied and said "I am the owner." In truth he is NOT the owner, Char Russell is. I was returning an Amazon order, which I've done many. He tried to tell me I had to pay $2 for the label. When I spoke with Amazon (email) they told me that the return service provided is a business deal they (Amazon) have set up with the UPS store and the customer should have absolutely NO shipping charges. Frustrated I agreed to pay the UPS store what they were charging only for them to turn around and try to charge me more money for packing my item because supposedly my item "didnt fit" as the cashier stated, in the shipping envelope they wanted me to return my item in. When I questioned the cashier saying not all items will fit into their predetermined envelope she merely shrugged with an eye rolling. I will never go to the UPS store in Rohnert Park they have very dishonest business practices. It's sad, I would like to support the local businesses in my community but will not in this case.
