I used this UPS store for certified mail, for whatever reason I could not pull up the tracking number and could NOT track my mail the few times I tried before going back in and asking for a refund. So I went back asking if I could be refunded because why pay $8 for certified mail if you can't even track it right? The male who was working there was EXTREMELY rude had no name tag so I didn't catch his name, but he's usually one of two people in there. I showed him my receipt and tracking number and told him why I wanted a refund, he sarcastically pulled up on his computer that my mail could be tracked and I said "well okay I just wanted to know it was delivered" because obviously if I had to get it certified it was important and in a very rude and sarcastic tone he said back "no you came in asking for a refund" he's right, yes I did but was that unnecessary commentary necessary probably not. So then I proceeded to show him on my phone that I entered those same numbers and it said status not available, and he said "well I don't know what type of phone you have but I'm showing you right here its been delivered" Anyways, I figured out on my own the status of my mail could not be tracked because I was entering the number without spaces, mistake on my part. But I figured that out on my own without the help of this rude man. This yelp is not about the tracking number it is about the fact that the customer service I received was terrible this man was rude and sarcastic trying to make me feel dumb and prove a point instead of trying to help me figure out why I can't track my mail or even explain what I could be doing wrong and I could have easily been rude right back to him which I really wanted to but instead I decided to walk out and I will NEVER EVER use this location again, good for me and him. He's probably tired of working in customer service because I wasn't rude to him and he was most definitely rude to me. This yelp will probably be overlooked but if anyone ever reads this definitely go over the the UPS store on constitution or anywhere else besides here and save yourself the sassy, rude comments you will receive from the employee at this location if you ever happen to have an issue with anything. read more

Two thumbs down. Not friendly at all. I stood there waiting to be helped while 2 employees helped the lady at the counter. Then they both helped her at the copy machine. After she leaves they stand back behind the counter laughing and joking on how pretty she was. As I am standing right up at the counter they both stop and look up at me, one of them just says "Yes!" I am like yes I would like to ship this book please. "Okay I will be with you in one minute..." he walked away and the other young man started doing stuff behind the counter. 3 minutes late the guy comes back and says " Yes what did you need" OMG! I was so mad trying to keep my cool. So I told him that I wanted to ship this book to my uncle in Arizona. Okay he weighs it and said that it would be $13.54 to ship it. I was like "What excuss me but $13.54 to ship this book that is 7" tall x 5" wide 1 1/4" thick and it weighs less then 3 lbs to Arizona..... That seems a little high priced to me dont you think? So he grabs the book back up and pushes it down hard on the scale and says "ya" "$13.54 to ship it are you going to do it or what?" Okay by this time I could have spit out flaming coffin nails but I had just been in this store for 27 minutes and I had to get back to work. So very mad I wont ever return to this place and I agree with Jasmin as far as them charging the customers way to much as they are doing wrongful business practices. Jack read more

I went in wanting to print a single black and white page I had in a pdf file on my flash stick. I asked the clerk to please print it for me. She asked me to print it from a computer they had. I inserted my flash stick in the USB socket of that computer and I printed the page. After putting my signature on the page I printed, I asked her to please scan the page and put the scanned image on my flash stick. She said she can scan it and email it to me because she was unable to put it on the flash stick directly. I gave her my email address and she emailed it to me. All I wanted her to do was to print a single page and then scan a single page but she charged my credit card $5.95. A whole multi-function printer these days costs $59.99; that is less than the cost of 12 pages at that store. She said the page printing cost was $0.45, use of the computer was $2.50 and a fax (email) was $3.00. I told her that that was the last time I come to her store. I normally went to officemax when my printer was not close by; they charged $0.12 for printing a page and a little more than that for scanning it; but this time I had no good reason to go to the UPS store other than to try a different store. I have been a customer for more than three years with The UPS Store in North Salinas, using their services, but mostly for renting a p.o. box from them. I have always felt their p.o. rental fees were competitive until I recently renewed my p.o. box for the year 2019. Which, I pay in advance every year. I now can honestly say, I am very disappointed in how they do business. Their fees went up, from $17.00 to $20.00 a month in 1 year. Ouch! That is a significant $36.00 increase in one year. I would think, as a courtesy they would give some sort of notice, letting their customers know in advance of the DRASTIC, INCREASE. When I spoke with the owner, his response to me was, it is my responsibility to keep track of the fees they charge. To me, it isn't about who is responsible. To me, it's just good business conduct. We aren't talking about a $1.00 increase, this is a significant amount. I felt it was misleading, because, IF they were to let their customers know of the DRASTIC INCREASE, they would lose business and in my opinion, this is not good customer service.
