After having a bad experience at the St Francis location since they were closed, I did not want to go to the Guadalupe St location since it was inconvenient for us as we were heading to Albuquerque. There was a couple of people ahead of me in line so there was a little bit of a wait but not bad at all. The employee who helped me was very efficient and my return only took a min or two. The parking lot is a little congested and it is tucked away in a lil corner of a strip mall so hard to see. read more

Thank God for Connor. My daughter and I came in today with a huge package we needed to return to Amazon. I forgot to take a picture of the QR code before we left the house and when I went to retrieve it on Amazon's website, the Internet was not working at all. The thought of having to carry this cumbersome package back to our truck because we couldn't retrieve the QR code was not something I wanted to endure. Connor was so helpful in helping us retrieve the code and he also gave my daughter a bottle of water. It's so hard to find people who generally are nice and care about customers these days so it was a nice change to interact with a kind human being. The young man working on 4/17 @ 11:30am - I should've gotten his name - was amazing!! Huge line, and people just kept coming in, yet he handled it with such efficiency and patience. I was very impressed. I had 10 Amazon returns to process and he was able to multitask and handle two customers at a time to ensure my large task didn't cause the other customers to wait. I was out of there in 10min, and when I first saw the line I thought I'd be waiting at least 30! Excellent experience, and I will be sure to utilize this shop in the future. read more

I waited in a long line for about 15 minutes. When my turn came I began to put my items on the counter for mailing, then the staff person told me to wait for the next person in line to check in his item before taking my order. This is rude and uncalled-for. People should be served in the order they arrive. read more

I only go to this UPS store to return Amazon products and never had a complaint. But the last two times over 2 or 3 months, the service has been terrible. One woman who was efficient was taking care of a customer so I stood in plain sight between the two registers waiting my turn. An employee came from the back and a man with a large box came in. The employee ignored me and motioned to the man who went to the register. She didn't look at me or acknowledge my presence. I should have said something but they were already into his transaction. I stood and waited. A lady came in and stood behind me but again the employee ignored me and said to her, I'll be right with you. When the man left I quickly stepped to the register and said I had been there first but she ignored me. She did not know how to use the computer to do the return so more time was wasted waiting for the other employee to help her. The other employee took over my return and quickly completed the very easy process. Today I stood at the designated spot and again the efficient employee was helping a customer. A woman came from the back to the other register and stood there looking out the window. I hesitated but then walked over and asked if she was handling returns. I got a snarky attitude and she claimed that she had said she could help me but I heard nothing like that and how dumb is it to speak in a normal voice and expect someone standing ten feet away in a noisy room to hear it? She should have waved her arm or repeated it louder. I said I didn't hear it over there but she made no apology and no attempt to be friendly or at least civil. Next time I'll go to a different return center. I hope someone with authority reads these complaints and makes some very needed changes in hiring and training of employees. read more

People must love their service to use it more than any other store in Santa Fe. Now that we are in our new home, we no longer need a box, I'm going to miss this crew so much! I appreciate every piece of mail they placed in our box, every box they took in for us and most of all their sweet greetings. Do not use The UPS Store #1750 in Santa Fe. They were referred by the Santa Fe Art Auction. When my expensive art work arrived at my home and I opened the box, it was full of broken glass. The packing was poorly done, which caused the glass to break and to damage the art work. A claim was filed with UPS and approved. Two times UPS said they'd sent a refund. It never came. I was told they could ACH payment. 15 days later, no ACH. When I finally got a human on the line, I was told it takes 4-6 weeks. So angry. Likely will not have my claim paid. A week after the first package was sent to me, a second painting was sent using UPS Store #1750. It was expertly packed by the gallery. It also arrived with the frame destroyed. Again, do not use UPS Store #1750. PakMail is worth the money!!! read more

I have been to this store many times and the service is always excellent! Everyone is respectful and my tasks have been completed in a timely manner. I commend this store for working through the challenges that are involved in shipping/receiving. The owner is so nice. I am confused as to why it doesn't translate to the employees. He treats every customer with great customer service, is efficient, super helpful. I usually ship through our business account and different stores in various parts of the US. The encounter and downright rudeness of one of the associates was laughable- I simply asked if they could look up the closest location to my daughter's address for a ship and hold. I asked if they could google it, they cannot. The system cannot do that, Note: Fed Ex can. I asked when the Notary would be back, she said she did not. Just Icy and not a good representation of UPS. The owner goes above and beyond, and I understand they are training new hires (which I was very patient with as all should be). The Notary I went to a day ago did not complete the information correctly, so I had to go back and pay again to get it re-completed. Totally fine with that, I am paying for his time. There are so many other UPS Stores in Santa Fe, this is my least favorite. I will give this location another chance, as all should. We understand the staffing in Santa Fe is at a shortage (again we own multiple businesses in various states and Santa Fe is hard on business owners). My take: Employees, just be nice, just be helpful. If you don't want to represent a business owner like you have a buy in, go find somewhere where you will be happier. read more

I don't know if he is just rude, sexist, or racist, but I was treated very disrespectfully. Old, white man with grey hair grabbed my phone without asking to look at the return code, insisted it was not correct even though it was an electronic Amazon return label, and overall was very rude. He said it had to be printed to be scanned (wrong). Practically yelled and told me to stand in a different line, but the man who entered after me was treated kindly and given different instructions. I'd rather drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to the other store where I have never had an issue. What horrible way to treat your customers who Amazon sends to you for returns. You shouldn't take your incompetence out on your customers just because you can't use an app or follow instructions. A little customer service and courtesy would go a long way. read more

During the shutdown, this workforce managed to rise to the occasion and get stuff shipped in and out. The services are many and some take longer than others. I get notifications of boxes received and my boxes are missing. First box missing was an expensive Japanese hand made chef knife. The staff doesn't even know the protocol for a missing parcel. They handed me the wrong form, and dismissed my claim. I had to file with Amazon bc they didn't take responsibility like they ought to. Today the same thing happened: I got a notification on Feb 1st that a parcel was delivered to my box. I checked my box and there was no receipt to be found. I asked the same clueless staff person who had previously given me the wrong form, where is my package? She said the system is down and she can't check. She went back to check for 5 seconds and quickly came back saying there is no parcel. This is getting frustrating. I really thought this place excelled in customer service but I was wrong. There is only one employee there who seems to genuine care.* correction Feb 1st parcel was delivered. There were several parcels delivered over a span of several days and that one got accounted for. That was my mistake. But the parcel containing the expensive hand forged Japanese chef knife did go missing. (This took place after peak season). If things continue smoothly I will return to delete this post but that doesn't negate the fact that all staff members must be well versed in what to do when a missing package occurs. I used the UPS Store on Zafarano Dr to return a package to Amazon. The clerk, whose nametag said "Josh", allowed his mask to slip below his nose, and then lowered it all the way beneath his chin. I asked him to please put it back on correctly, and asked him if he was vaccinated. He did put the mask back on, but said he wasn't vaccinated, because he needed to do "more research". He displayed a cavalier attitude towards the global pandemic, widely reported on by reliable news sources, and he should not be working with the public. read more

The UPS Store on Zafarano Drive in Santa Fe, NM is the worst example of poor treatment of customers and price gouging. Today I tried to mail a package from there, and the person waiting on me was incredibly hostile and rude. When I told my husband about my experience, he said that same woman was rude to him every single time he's gone to send something from there. This location has the SNOTTIEST, RUDEST, LEAST HELPFUL staff of any UPS facility I've ever been to. On three separate occasions, months apart, I was not greeted, and talked down to, when dropping off packages. This last visit (and it will be my last!) took the cake: On 10/25, I dropped off a prepaid box for a small coffeemaker which was defective. The clown at the counter abruptly asked me (again without even saying hello) if I had "taken off the original shipping label". I was taken aback and said of course. He said "Well I don't see one, that's why I asked". WTF??? Since it's in fact, not present, how *could* you see one, genius? And why even confront me and ask if there was an old label on it IF YOU DIDN'T SEE ONE??? A few minutes later, I observed the same employee smoking right next to the door, violating city ordinance which states smoking must be at least 25 feet from the door of any business. AVOID this location. They obviously have some serious management and/or staffing issues. It's probably poor management if the rude little girl who claimed she was "actually the manager" has a hand in operating it. In the future I will drive a few more blocks to the actual UPS main depot where the staff are always fast and friendly (see my other review) to take care of my extensive shipping needs. read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. The employee at this location was under the mistaken impression that the 'customer' is entering on behalf of 'her' sense of entitlement. I was treated unprofessionally, and very rudely. When I asked for the employee's name she replied that she was 'the ex girlfriend of the owner.' I was returning an Amazon item that was damaged and the employee refused to print a label even though I had a return tracking number given to me by Amazon. She had no idea what to do. I mentioned to her that I had returned another Amazon return two weeks previously and she told me that "never" happened essentially calling me a liar. my advice is to take your business directly to UPS because this place will trash you. read more

Don't advertise a 12:30pm Saturday UPS pick-up, if it's "just an estimate" and they actually sometimes come earlier. List a time that a person could most definitely get their package picked up that day as good customer service practice. Don't blame UPS, just change the time you advertise to a more guaranteed time (10am?). It has a very negative effect on your customers who think they can get a package shipped out that day but instead it sits there until Monday. It's usually pretty important when a person needs overnight shipping. read more

I had to package and ship 14 boxes that weighed between 40 to 120 pounds each and wasn't sure what was the best way to get it done. I spoke to the manager who was very knowledgeable and steered me in the right direction and when the store ran out of the size of boxes I needed they drove to another store and got some more. They also let me use their tape and scale and kept asking me if I needed assistance. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time! read more

My experience today was when I walked into the store to send packages, and a female employee was speaking loudly about a gentleman that had just walked out of the store, saying that the man is disgusting because he supports a communist leader. Then continued to complain about the man to the short haired blonde female employee, who was helping me. The employee helping me interrupted her loudly so all the customers heard her say, "It's ok, we all know that Trump supporters are not intelligent people." I spoke up and told her that was not a nice thing to say. Neither one of those women apologized for making that rude, condescending blanket statement about about people they don't even know. It was presumptuous of those two employees to assume that none of the customers in that store were Trump supporters. None the less, they were very unprofessional. That kind of behavior should not be taking place in any business no matter who you support Politically. I will not give my business to that store again. read more
