The staff at this UPS location are consistently warm and personable. They always greet customers as soon as you walk through the door and they genuinely feel happy to help. Every employee I have interacted with here has great customer service skills and creates a positive atmosphere from start to finish. There is a UPS store closer to me on Victory Dr, and the young blonde girl there is very sweet, but I keep coming back to this location because the overall energy and friendliness here truly stands out. I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store today. I came in to return a product that was extremely heavy. As I struggled to get it into the store, I was visibly huffing and puffing, and another customer was kind enough to open the door for me. I am intelligent, educated and well dressed woman. I assume was not the right complexion. Once inside, I stood in line feeling like I might pass out because the item was so heavy. There were two male attendants at the counter, and neither one offered any assistance, suggested a place where I could set the package down, or acknowledged that I was clearly struggling. For identification purposes, I want to mention, one was a silver haired man, the other was a male with black hair, piercing and tattoos, Instead, they both looked at me and offered no help until it was finally my turn. When I reached the counter, one employee looked past me and asked whether I was next, even though I had been standing there waiting. The other employee, whose line I was in, never properly acknowledged me and seemed to continue a conversation instead of helping me in a timely manner. I left feeling ignored, disrespected, and undervalued as a customer. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are visibly struggling with a heavy item. Whether it was poor customer service, age bias, or some other form of prejudice, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location. Customers deserve basic courtesy, respect, and assistance. read more

Best UPS Store that I have seen. Quick and professional. I haven't had to wait very long.

The first time I arrived two weeks ago, the employee had everybody waiting for at least 20 minutes while he was chatting to his friend/gf. I gave him an envelope to mail to a PO Box address which was urgent, not knowing that UPS does not mail to PO Boxes. The employee didn't know this either. My envelope was returned and when I came back in the store, a nice employee went to ask the manager why my mail had been returned. He explains it to his employee who then comes back telling me that UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. In my opinion, this is terrible customer service. Nothing was done to solve the problem. The least the manager could have done was to offer my money back, but NOTHING. He didn't even approach us himself, he just went to the back and disappeared after telling his employee what to tell us. Looks like the managers here need more training! read more

I understand it's the holidays but come on man. I had a package delivered here by mistake and I had to go back on 3 different occasions to get it. Why you may ask because they didn't have their hrs posted saying that they were closing early and then they wouldn't be opened at all for another 2 days. After the manager commented on my review ( which is a bit strange but whatever) . Their hours online state that they close at 6:30 pm however they closed early on New Year's Eve which wasn't stated online. Also what's the point of contacting the manager when I don't come here often enough. In the future I'll make sure that my items are delivered to my home ( which this item should've been ) so as to not run into issue again!! read more

This UPS store is the best in Savannah. Mike and his wife Kate are super. We have a fine art and antiques auction business and they ship most of the items that are purchased from out of state which includes paintings, silver, small furniture, rugs, porcelain, ancient artifacts etc. They are thoughtful and thorough with their packing and great with our clients. I have tried repeatedly to contact "Mike" at the store. Shortly after 9 am on 7/21, he took my credit card information to package and ship some items. Shortly after noon, the items were returned to the seller instead. Phone calls, messages, and emails since then have all been ignored. This is not how you run a business. read more

My spouse mailed a package from this store to Illinois. It was marked fragile and had been filled with bubble wrap and paper to protect it. It arrived completely crushed to its destination. UPS wanted photos which we provided from the receiver in Illinois. Then they wanted photos of the packing, which we could not actually provide since the receiver in Illinois had already disposed of the box and packing materials so we sent pictures of bubble wrap. They denied the claim saying it wasn't properly packed. The box had been crushed so it wouldn't have mattered what we packed it with. The UPS people were horrible. They asked if we took the pictures of the package when it arrived in Illinois. We explained that we mailed the package from Savannah to Illinois so we couldn't possible take pictures of it in Illinois. Store manager seems sympathetic, but she could make a decision on her own and reimburse for the shipment. Horrible people; horrible service. Business takes no responsibility for anything. Avoid this location at all costs. Consider Federal Express, the USPS, or another UPS shop in Savannah. read more

I had this store pack and ship 5 extremely fragile packages, and paid for several thousand dollars of insurance on each. two of the pieces arrived literally in pieces. I didn't even remove them from the box or bubble wrap so the claims adjuster could assess the damage. That was 3 months ago, and I still have not been paid because UPS Store Corporate said this store altered the tracking numbers and deleted the insurance once they were shipped. I would not recommend using this store. The corporate is even having trouble getting this store to respond so they can work on my claim. read more
