The manager of this facility is refusing the close the store for the day in regards to a public safety hazard happening. There are live wires hanging from the ceiling, asbestos falling onto your clothes, people are drilling above your head as your dropping off/picking up packages. The owner is doing something very shady and very illegal. No point in calling corporate they will hang up on you. Do not go here until construction is done or you will get hurt/sick the manager and the owner do not care about public safety!! read more

While standing on line, another customer (who obviously was in a hurry) proceeded to stand about 3 inches from my left elbow, while shifting from one foot to the other...I asked him to step back a little so as to give me some privacy and space, by which to conduct my business. He responded "I don't know what your problem is...I'm not even close to you...do you think you're a queen or something? given his disrespectful reply, I responded: "Yes you are too close to me, and I AM a Queen!" He stepped even closer, now in a position where he could read the computer screen that the UPS customer representative was processing my package. I turned to him and firmly informed him of his disrespect. My frustration comes not only from the rude young man, but from the lack of intervention by the UPS representative working on processing my package. They could have asked the young man to kindly step back in the queue, but nothing was said. Secondly, the worker was having difficulty locating the address on the package and questioned me as to whether the address was legitimate or not. (Apparently the fields provided in the software could not accommodate the length of the address). The representative proceeded to suggest that the should "Google" the address to see if it was "real." I firmly refused, took my package back, reiterated to the young man how rude he was, and left. Needless to say, this was a very upsetting experience, one that I hope to never experience again! read more

I have been coming here for a few times and figured I'd give it a review. The service is quite slow, as there is always a line outside, due to covid and social distancing . The customer service is average but my items always get shipped out in a timely manner and there are never any problems. I recommend to come here early when it opens or during off peak times to ensure less of a wait time. There is parking in residential areas or stores nearby. read more

Very rude and unhelpful not just to me but to other customers and people they were talking to on the phone while I was there. I stood online outside for 20 minutes after making an appointment online to get fingerprints done. When I got in, they acted like I was insane and told me 'we don't do that here- no ups does that'. Then why did the website give me an appointment and send me multiple reminders about it? And I even if the website is wrong, why are you so rude and acting like I'M inconveniencing YOU? Nasty to other customers and to callers too. If I ever have to do business with ups again I will drive to another (any other) ups store. read more

The UPS store on Forest Avenue in Staten Island is the best reliable place to do business when it comes to shipping packages or printing any other mailing needs.!! I went there today and witnessed staff tossing packages, even a computer screen monitor. One of the employees complaining of heavy packages and even using profanity. Dropped off my Amazon returns (bring my returns in the original shipping boxes opened so they can see I'm not returning an empty box) which is no hassle and they're suppose to handle all the packaging and they tried charging me for two strips of tape.... Two strips of tape lol. The kid behind the register said per their manager "first strips free then the next are .50 each". Long story short my boxes were already scanned in and I did not pay for the two strips lol. read more

I've never been somewhere where the employee is so eager to help and they did it with a smile on their face the whole time! I went this past Sunday and had the honor of meeting Ana not only was she very very helpful she was extremely patient with my ton of requests. Her machine was giving her a hard time and she kept apologizing usually ppl would get upset and just leave but her positive attitude just makes u want to be there and understand. Came in today to ship a couple of guitars back to Amazon (you really do get what you pay for when it comes to guitars) and was greeted by Justin who helped me get everything done quickly and efficiently. Justin is apparently the subject matter expert on Amazon returns. He helped me print out my return shipping labels, affix them to the packages and even had the hazmat stickers ready. I didn't have to cut or tape anything. He even assisted with slipping in the return label I had forgotten to place inside one of the packages. All things that I could've done myself which I was expecting, but he was more than happy to help. I was in and out in minutes and walked across the street for some grocery shopping. I used to dread my Amazon returns, but this location has made it so easy that I've gotten a new confidence in my purchases. I went in today to just return something, Justin and Matt were super friendly! I asked if they do passport photos, which they do. The guys took their time to make sure that the picture was perfectly sized and that my passport wouldn't be rejected for any reason, even taking multiple pictures. I have been to this place 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months , and every time was a very pleasant experience. The one on Forest ave. The ladies are polite and the young man is always helpful and polite. Yesterday I went to pick up 4 boxes , 2 of them were very large (guitar and guitar case). When I told the young lady that I dont have a car and needed to call a cab, she right away called one for me. Then when it arrived , before I could grab the first box, the young man ( tall , about 25 , wearing glasses) brought all 4 boxes out to the cab for me. Do not drop your item off here. I had a simple amazon return that was just an iphone wire, it was supposed to be picked up the same day it was dropped off. I dropped it off 12pm in the afternoon with a worker, looked him dead in his eyes as he scanned it, got a receipt and kept it for evidence as i always do. I returned the wire because it did not work with my car. My guess is that a worker took the package for himself since there have not been updates in 2 weeks on the ship status and now i have to make a missing package claim for an item that i do not have and the money that i am owed. read more

Rip offfff! I paid $18.00 to ship a package in NY and they charged me $22.00 for the box and bubble wrap.... whattt??? Ridiculous! I will never use them again. Go to the post off and it's a quarter of the price! I was in a bind and needed to ship otherwise I would have walked out. Post five $3.19 for bubble wrap and $3.49 for the box! No where near $22. All I know is that package better be prepared to survive Armageddon at that price! I'm a business owner and will only use USPS from now on! read more

I really hate to give this location one star because in the past they have been great, but I'm hoping the owner sees this and talks to the extremely rude young lady I had to deal with today. I brought my Amazon return package to this location on Monday 2/22/21 around 10:30a.m. I waited patiently on line and the girl who helped the person before me disappeared. Being I was the next person up, I walked to the counter and waited for the next customer service rep to help me. She walked up to the register and completely ignored me. I finally said I'm hear to return this and she looked at me without saying a word. I've done this before, so lifted my phone for her to scan the barcode which she did and that was it. She did not say a word, I said is that it and she just went gave me a Ymmm hmmm. Not even yes, or thank you. I walked away without saying thank you which is out of character for me and saying to myself, I just experienced rudest and worst customer service in my life. This is the worst UPS store on record. I went in to inquire as to the price of shipping a package. I was given a quote of $61.00 including packaging of my item. I returned 2 hours later and the price for the same item to the same address went up by $10.00. After arguing with the staff person he brought the price down, but the bait and switch tactics were not appreciated, nor was the poor attitude of the staff person. I then went to the Staples UPS on Forest Avenue and mailed the package for $23.00 including packaging- a savings of almost $40, and the package was delivered the next day. Moral of the story- even on shipping you have to shop around and STAY AWAY from the UPS store on Forest Avenue. read more

You can do way better than this place. Needed a box, they charged $10. I asked to see a price list for the boxes. They said we don't have one and I already discounted the box. Walked down the street and bought one at Staples for $1.49. Came back. No one to be found. Started to use the tape on the counter, as have been doing for years when shipping. Manager emerged from the back room talking on a personal cell phone and I said "hope you don't mind" and she said "I do we charge for taping" and took the tape away. I asked to see a price list and she said we don't have price lists, I charge for taping. This place used to be a great store with very friendly people. New owner a year ago resulted in lost boxes, no follow up on insurance claims, nickel and dime skimming off customers (um hello fraud police?) and surprised the place is still functioning. BTW Adam S.: Justin was great... I guess that's why he longer works there... Hey! Glad to see the manager who said Justin doesn't work there any longer was overruled! Welcome back Justin! read more

Excellent service. They literally did everything I had on my todo list; faxing, color copies, email printing, they packed my luggage, shipped it, gave me pretty good pricing on business cards and even sold me a mailbox, not to mention I was in and out of there within 5-10 mins.
