Unfortunately as often happens with new businesses or ownership, the shine is starting to come off the apple. Over the last 6 months 2 employees have gotten less friendly and ingratiating, while the others remain polite and friendly. There was a female who I haven't seen in a couple months and a male (A) who has gotten to the point where all you get from him is a mumble. I made a drop off today and greeted him with "Hi there." His reply was "mmmmm." When we were done I just got a mumble that may have been a thanks, not sure. This is in such contrast to the others. I suspect the manager/owner opened up the store for a few weeks or months and is now somewhere else. This would be REALLY obvious to someone who worked there even for an hour. read more

And never done this before and the young lady's name was Vanessa she was very helpful and I really enjoyed her hospitality she didn't make me feel rushed and she was very knowledgeable and I wish a lot of businesses would practice this. 4/22/2024 10am store #1313 on West ln. Went in to return Comcast equipment, 3 items including the remote. The one lady that I always try to avoid was the clerk. She first put the remote back on the counter, I jokingly said "you don't want the remote?" She replied "I can't scan a remote". Ok She then scanned the 2 pieces of equipment and printed out a tag. I started to take it and asked "is that it?" I'm done? Seems like she wasn't in the mood for questions. She said "No, I need to print the receipt, you have to understand, this is a process, it takes a while" I said Whoa, I simply asked a question, because there was no verbal communication. The new management seems not to have had much effect. On arrival at about 2:30 on the afternoon of Sunday, April 13, I found myself in line behind another man who was behind an older, grey-haired African-American woman trying to make an Amazon return at the counter. She had two bulky boxes with dress-making forms to return, and Amazon had given her only one return label for the pair that she had received as a single purchase. She was told by the clerk, a young Caucasian guy, that the boxes needed to be somehow combined or he could not take both of them and brought out a box that was obviously too small. She asked that the clerk use some of the very large roll of shipping tape clearly visible at the workstation to tape the boxes together. The clerk declined to help with this simple minor thing. He asserted that it would take too much tape and that he could lose his job for that. He advised the client to purchase her own tape, which she did for $8, an over-priced purchase. She struggled to manipulate the roll of tape and boxes, so I stepped out of line to help, and together, we were able to get the two boxes taped together. Afterwards, I could not help but wonder if that scene would have played out the same way for me, a mature grey-haired White guy of roughly comparable age, or if I would have had more considerate service. I am ashamed that I did not step up to assert myself on her behalf by pointing out that Amazon expects UPS to package returned items for shipping and that his behavior was outright petty and mean-spirited. If this is the kind of service one can expect from this site, then the older reviews are still valid. If the new ownership wants to set this right, they should go back through the store logs for that time and date, find the purchase for a roll of tape, and refund the credit card with an apology for the shabby treatment. The manager female with the gray hair is the most useless customer service rep they have at this location despite her working for UPS for 30 yrs (her words) Would not log back into computer to retrieve a file to print that I had ordered and paid for online 8hrs previous. Again not because she couldn't but did not want to. Also the rest of the workers have zero knowledge on how to do anything else than receive packages and scan them, so unfortunately the they can not help either. Train the rest of the employees to help with computers for customers and hope that lady retires soon. This location would bloom without her presence. I try to avoid this location if I can. The lady has been rude to me every time and treats me as if I'm incompetent. I had 5 packages with Amazon return labels to send back. I was using self serve, being that I've used it before at the Trinity location. I scanned all items just fine, until the last one. It took code and said it would print but then didn't provide anything. I rescanned and of course it said I already used it. This happened to me once before at another location and the guy simply reprinted it being that he read the description! The white older lady came to help me (which I do not like, because she is rude). Had me dig through the drop box to show what my stuff was. I rebounded and showed her the receipt where it only showed 4 items not 5 and explained what happened. I was speaking in a regular tone when she is telling me to calm down that it's not her fault. She goes to the computer clicks around and I pull up the code again. Says it's used. As she helps someone else I rescan at self service and it worked and printed! I package my last item and she has the audacity to say I WAS USING THE WRONG CODE! I literally rescanned the same code I had been using the entire time for that item with the clear description of what it was! I just said "OK" with an attitude and started walking out with my son because I had already wasted my time digging through the packages for what! She could have reprinted but was adamant on finding my packages. Don't waste your time here and just go to Trinity in Stockton if you can.
