I go to this UPS Store several times a week and I must say Mr. Patel and his staff are always friendly, efficient and professional. I know I will always get great service, with no long wait because there are always plenty of staff on hand. A couple of weeks ago I had to ship a large fragile antique from Texas to New Hampshire. This was my go to drop off and ship packages but find myself not wanting to come here anymore. I had dropped my wallet in the parking lot and came back to the store to be told it was found in the parking lot by a UPS driver. Time between dropping off my package and realizing I had dropped it and come back was less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately all the cash I had in my wallet was missing - $350. The only answer I got was that it was found in the parking lot but to me why would the driver have returned my wallet and stolen the money (or anyone else in the parking lot), it would've been more logical to have just taken the whole wallet and no one would've known (the wallet is worth more than the cash that was taken). No way of truly knowing who stole the cash in my wallet but it just doesn't sit right with me and I no longer feel comfortable coming here. read more

Terrible! We received some registry gifts from Amazon that we decided we didn't need so we made a return on the app. When you get items at a baby shower, 9 times out of 10 you are not going to have the box it shipped in right? You might have the box the item is in but not the shipping box. You better be ready to argue here. The one employee was refusing our returns even though we selected the no label no box return. He kept saying "We need the shipping box it came in" I said "Sir no you do not. Let me cancel this return and show you what I selected" My fiance was even starting to get mad. I ended up offering to buy a box but another employee came up to us to hear the argument. You can ask anyone who knows me, I rarely ever get in an argument with an employee so you know its bad when I'm actually going back and forth. The other employee saw the item and the qr code on my phone and even told the arguing employee to take the return. I said thank you to that employee and didn't even bother to communicate with the arguing employee the rest of our time there. A quick 5 minute visit turned into 20 minutes. I will never use this franchise of UPS again and will look up the owner of this franchise so I can avoid any other UPS office they might own. If you don't want to do amazon returns, just don't offer the service read more

Another UPS store. This one has lots of parking and next to Pei Wei. So if you are hungry, pop next door! It's right near hwy 6 and 59, so easy access is a huge plus! They have several people who work here, but they choose to have the person with the thickest accent to answer the phone. I had some questions so I called. I asked what time they close and the nice man answered my question 3 times (because I had to ask over and over) and never could figure out what he said. I just chanced it and went after 5pm. Thank goodness they were open. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. They need to pick the right people to answer the phone. Also, once I brought in some china and asked them to wrap it and package it for overseas mailing. I watched the man wrap up the china, put it in a box, and then put his FULL weight on the items as he crushed the CHINA into a box. I had to stop him and take the box and china away. So, even with these problems, why do I give them 3 stars? Convenience. It's a quick easy place to drop off package that you have to use UPS. I always go to the post office if I can because it is cheaper. Don't mail things via USPS at the UPS store because the mark up horrendous. read more

I went to two Fedex stores until I was sent to this UPS store. Needed to insure a gift I was sending. I was very nervous about shipping it but they did an excellent job of putting me at ease. The nice gentlemen told me I could insure it for theft because I had boxed it myself or they could box it for me and insure it for damage, lose or theft which I decided to do. He allowed me to watch him and gave me my receipt as well as highlighting the area I paid for the insurance. I did next day air and it arrived the next morning before the scheduled time. Best shipping experience! Visited on December 27th. Store was very busy. I needed help repackaging into a smaller box for immediate shipment. The employee was very helpful. Inexperienced notary, would not notarize a simple affidavit on an application. Kept making different excuses to why he couldn't notarize it. Waited in line for 15 minutes only to have to go somewhere else where they were able to do it in 30 seconds. In reference to owner's response: Sir, you or your employee had clearly seemed to be not interested in notarizing my document and made numerous attempts to find any reason not to. For instance, he questioned the quality of the paper used for my photo in addition to several other factors that were essentially irrelevant. Yes, the affidavit was part of a larger document. However, like I explained, the affidavit was a statement that required notary signature and had no reference to the other pages of the document. I provided the unfilled document for reference. Moreover, the document had already been submitted to the responsible agency and the agency had requested to be resubmitted due to needing a more recent date. They did not ask for me to resubmit the remainder of the document and neither should you. I went to another UPS store and it was notarized without hassle. Like I said, it clearly seems that there was no interest in notarizing my document. You can make up whatever excuse you need to but it should have been a straightforward action that required less than 2minutes of time. The premise of potential "legal trouble" applies to any notarized document. Either you should seek additional training or stop advertising that you provide services that you do not. Regardless it was poor service and my review reflects as such, hopefully others will find it helpful. read more

I bought a roll of 100 stamps - that were $0.65 each. I came home and opened the rolls, only to find out that they're so overpriced compared to stamps from the post office. It should be less than $0.50 for each stamp, and the difference adds up quick when you're sending out 50-100 cards. I grabbed the receipt and the roll of stamps and went back to the store to get a refund. They stated that it says nonrefundable on the receipt... however that's not what the receipt says!!! It says "items that are labeled NR will not be refundable." My item doesn't have NR on it and I have the receipt to prove it!!! Then they sneakily added in "also because it's been opened." Not ONE stamp had been used and it was still shaped in the roll they handed it to me in. I even brought the back the plastic that it was wrapped in but they refused to take it back!!! These stamps cost more than my wedding cards and that says a LOT. I won't ever return to this location and to all my friends who are sending out mass mail - don't come here. read more

Beware this location, especially with any USPS package. I dropped the USPS priority to this location few months ago; I even paid right there for them to print the label for me. They never sent to USPS pick up. They don't provide the scan to acknowledge that they receive it, so there is no way you track it. My package worth over $300 just vanished, even though I paid priority and insurance but can't claim with USPS since nothing shown in their system. No business ethical at all. read more

I've been to a lot of UPS stores locally because the post office is a nightmare to deal with. The UPS by Whole Foods is also terrible. This is the best one I've found. I've used this location as a printing service and to mail packages. The staff is always friendly and Pankaj went out of his way to try and help me save money shipping a large package. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely continue to use this location as long as I live in Sugar Land. read more

I am not sure how to give a store no star and write the review at the same time. This store is the most unprofessional place I have ever visited. The people especially an old man (Arvind Patel)are extremely rude and ignorant of how a store should be run! We were trying to drop an amazon package for return since we had missed the UPS pick-up the previous day. Initially they asked us to call UPS for a packing slip since we only had a tracking ID. We called UPS and then Amazon and got the packing slip which took us a good 30 mins over phone and then once we got all that sorted out, they told us that they won't accept the package since it was not in the correct wrapper/box. On top of that they asked us to pay for the print out of the packing slip that they had just printed for the package. We were shocked. We politely told them that if the package was unacceptable to then in the first place, why dint they tell us then, we could have gone to another store in the first place and not spent a good 40-50 mins of our morning at their store. Then the old man intervened and behaved in an extremely rude and derogatory fashion not even once accepting the fact that it was their fault. I am not sure how such people get licenses to run stores but given their unsocial and illiterate behavior the license of the store should be revoked. read more

Extraordinary customer service by Pragnesh. I am new to the city lost my way, thanks to the google maps I was driving in circles for an hour. I admit I was a bit baffled and irritated when I reached the store to do an Amazon return. When I showed the label to Pragnesh he said please come back this is a shipping label can't be scanned. I hadn't paid attention to that I complained about my drive. He said Ok I'd help you email this to me I'd print it. Then my battery dies so he arranges for a charger meanwhile gave me access to internet in office computer to send him the label. Of course I didn't remember the password. I left saying I'd come later but forgot my package at the store . Yes I know When I realized I called and asked to speak to Pragnesh only. He agreed to send it to amazon once I email him the label. He did this after hours. I can't expect this level of care and help anywhere else. A+ in knowledge, willingness, helpfulness and kindness. read more

The customer service here is terrible. Every time I came to this location to pick up a UPS package. They ask me if I have a mailbox with them before they would bother to look right behind them for my package. If you didn't want the UPS traffic and are only concerned with your customers you should have never signed up to handle packages on UPS behalf. The final straw came when they lost a package I had delivered to them for me to pick up. They lost the package. I wasn't as concerned about that as I was their response to losing the package. I understand these things happen and it isn't the first package I've had to vanish from other shipping sources. In this instance however the response was totally out of line and unacceptable. The owner Patel called me while I was at work. I informed him in the beginning of the conversation I was at work and couldn't talk long. He informed me I needed to contact UPS to begin an investigation into what happened to the package. I informed him that I didn't understand why an investigation was needed when the package tracking stated it was delivered to their store and was awaiting my pickup. If an investigation was needed he should start it with his store. He informed me they receive a lot of packages and they just sign for them without verifying what they've received. He believes the driver didn't deliver the package. I inform him that is between him and UPS. I further informed him that I was at work and he needed to start an investigation if he believed one was warranted. Patel puts me on hold and when he returns he has UPS customer service on the line. They tell him the same thing I said. The package was delivered to you and if you didn't check what you signed for that is your wrong. She informs him she will start an investigation but obviously thinks it is a waste of time. I inform Patel once again that I am at work and I have to get off the line. I will contact him later on in the evening. That jack@$$ hung up on me! This review is my response to his poor service and ignorance. Deal with this guy at your own risk. read more

It was a bit busy and they multitasked to bring down the line but never rushed me. Previously I had gone to a UPS closer to home to ask questions and was received by a rude person, this caused me to take the 15 minute trip here and I'm glad I did. If you use your own shipper account, DO NOT use this location. They keep waybills for you to use for all types of shipping except for UPS Ground. Per UPS Store corporate, policy indicates that stores do not have to keep waybills for third party shippers to use, but if they do, then they should keep them for all methods of shipment. If anyone wants to verify, UPS Store Corporate can be reached 800-789-4623. So it's not against corporate policy, but it is a highly unethical business practice and I cannot recommend the location. The owner came up with some non-sense story about fraudulent shipping from the area, but this was not corroborated by UPS Store corporate. They do not have different policy for different regions. This has also been yelped by others so it's clear this type of shipping method discrimination is a policy implemented by the owners of this location. read more

The owner and workers are the nicest people I've ever met. We have a business PO BOX here and even though they post that they will not give anyone their mail, we have to use our key, I forget my key all the time and they ALWAYS take the 5 seconds out of their way to give me my mail. Not to mention they hand it to me with a smile and tell me to have a wonderful day! Also, my daughter, who sells and trades her stuffed animals never has tape or the plastic sleeve to put the printed label on the box. They ALWAYS tape up her boxes and put her shipping label in the plastic sleeve on her boxes FREE OF CHARGE! These people are so sweet! You sure can't get free tape from the USPS on Grants Lake! I am very satisfied for the service this UPS Store provided me. They made copies of a dozen family genealogy reports. These reports are irreplaceable and they made me feel comfortable leaving the reports with them. They were very professional and courteous. It is very evident that customer service is a priority. I had several very expensive pieces of jewelry to send off and the two gentlemen in the store took their time to package each piece and take extensive photos of the packages. They were even concerned enough that they allowed me to come behind the counter to watch. I went in at a very busy time, 5pm on a week day, 2 weeks before Christmas, only to get one of my certification cards laminated. I didn't wait long to get to the counter, but once I got there, the machine had to warm up. I waited about 5-10 minutes before the machine was ready, but as soon as it was, I was taken care of. The gentleman then handed me my card and said "sorry about to wait, we will charge you next time" & smiled. He did not charge me for the lamination. Obviously I am not posting this for you to expect to not get charged for your services if you have to wait long. This is a profiting establishment and you should never expect that. But when it does happen, it means a lot! read more
